SCMP - ds2 isn't walking either. He was cruising at 7m or something, and he can stand himself up from sitting completely unaided, so his legs are clearly strong enough. It's more like the idea of walking unaided just hasn't occured to him. ds1 was ver a year too when he got going walking, so it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but then have had no scares about either boy's hips, so can understand if you're worried.
Hair - have had to cut ds2's hair loads of times. He was born with a thick head of hair, and never ever lost it, so it got pretty long pretty early! Is v hard to cut at this age as he likes to look at and grab the scissors. ds1 was much easier he had (blonde, Wilkie) very very curly hair, so just let it keep growing. (FYI wilkie, it is not only a bit wavy, on it's way to being straight, and getting darker all the time.)
I don't know why the pinky ponk farts. Equally I don't know how it's small enough to fit under the bridge yet can fit all the characters inside it. Nor do I know how Makka Pakka washes everyone when his Og Po has no water for his sponge. These things bug me (though not as much as Greg whatsispuss bugs me the way he takes the cutlery out of his mouth on Masterchef. I need a life.)
Hope the back op went ok.
Congrats on the house sale.
Can't remember anything else

Agree re Masterchef - they look like pigs when they wolf the food down. Bleurgh!

Upsy Daisy is SOOOOO annoying too. Wish Iggle Piggle would land her one!

Wilkie · 12/02/2008 14:43

Oh and BTW, DS2 photo of him at Crimbo on your profile is fantastic. Such a beautiful shot!

2happy · 12/02/2008 14:44

makka pakka vs upsy daisy - who'd win. Now upsy daisy is bigger, but makka pakka has stones he could throw...

2happy · 12/02/2008 14:46

Aw, thanks. I thought it was cute too. I notice, though, they have my age wrong, but I'm quite happy to stay 30 for a few more years!

OP posts:
Wilkie · 12/02/2008 14:51

Do you reckon Iggle Piggle wants a slice of Upsy Daisy?? He always has a demonic glint in his eye when he hugs her....perhaps she's really a wanton hussy??

2happy · 12/02/2008 15:03

I'm sure she is with that skirt flying up all over the place. Better than the tombliboos threesome...

bunnyhunny · 12/02/2008 15:08

itng - yes, and in the episode with the mud, I did notice that iggle piggle couldnt keep his hands to himself! does anyone else think the haa hoos are slightly psychotic-looking?
and makka pakka could whop daisys ass, no problem.

wilkie - great news! it wasnt on for long was it? we have a 2nd viewing tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

susie - great news on the sleep . that was how we did (our one session of) cc. can't imagine not comforting them tbh. stay strong for tonight - you know she can do it now!

hmm, hair. s's is getting long, but I have no idea how we will trim it. dh wants to shave it - ok, then you can do that one dear...

Lizzzombie · 12/02/2008 15:36

Susie - HV told me not to be concerned unless baby was still not walking by 18 months. Try not to worry x

Eah - Hah - you are old like me...Mr Majeeka was freaky! Also - excuse me...but, FREE LCD TV??? Am about to research this too. Is it an orange deal again with Carphone Warehouse? How much does he spend on his monthly bill approx?? We could do with a new tv

laughalot · 12/02/2008 16:17

susiecutiemincepies · 12/02/2008 21:34

So, tonight, isobel cried for about 3 minutes. I was about to go into her and she stopped. She has gone to sleep So, tonight, so far so good! I have some supplies for tonight again. I've got Red magazine, and some nice tea to drink, oh, and a bottle of baileys I've put batteries in the alarm clock so i can keep an eye on time without getting up and down. Wish me more luck girls...

eandh · 13/02/2008 08:19

LIZZ - [[http://shop.carphonewarehouse.com/pay-monthly/all/?SEARCH=orange&MANUF=Nokia&NETWORK=ORA phone/tv offer] basically same deal as me £35 a month 500 anytime/any network minutes and unlimited texts plus 'orange magic number' if you know someone else on orange you can have a magic number that is completeley free to call so dh has me and I have my brother and then every 6 months you can add another number! TV & DVD player arrives 28days after phone connected

Susie - just dug that book out we dont have problems getting her to sleep its the slippin waking up between 5 and 5.40 and then waking Ellie is the problem, doesnt matter if we out her to bed early, late, dinner earlier/later etc I am praying when the clocks go forward she wont adjust at least it'll be 6 to 6.40.

Ellie is a ratty little moaning whine bag because she is so tired from Hattie waking her Yesterday she was so rude/naughty when my friend was round she was in er room 3 times. Then she carried on so dh took her portable dvd player away and I phoned and cancelled the dance lessons she was meant to be starting (have deferred them to april but she doesnt know that ) she thinks that shes going dancing next week so it may make her realise we mean what we say.

Vino - thinking of you today

wilkie - will recross all limbs tomorrow for MrW interview

LAL - let us know how dr's go

eandh · 13/02/2008 08:21

Right aidan killing lauren will be back later

katwith3kittens · 13/02/2008 09:20

Aaaaaahhhhhh what a night !

I actually went out last night with some girlfriends and left LO with dad and guess what .... wide awake at 11.30 when I got home

Then, got him to bed and the elder two have both been sick in the night so I've a mountain of washing to do this morning. DS1 is really quite good and always gets to the loo to be sick, but DD just throws upwherever she is and just expects it to be tidied up immediately

I need to phone schools in the next few minutes. Hope they get better soon as we are off on holiday on Friday.

Susie. DS2 isnt anywhere near walking yet and he was born late dec. I'm not worried.

Had to look on the acronymn list for ITNG before realising what you are all on about. Poor DS2, I think he's missing out going straight onto Tracey Beaker !

Wilkie, thats fab news. I know of all the areas you have mentioned as I grew up in Saddleworth, but sorry I dont have any current knowledge. I guess the house prices reflect the kind of area. Saddleworth is lovely, lots of pretty villages but maybe the moors are a bleak for some.

Laughalot. I havent even clicked on your link as I know its fab. Its the only place to stay in Chester. I've never actually stayed there myself but been in the Brasserie many a time and have many fond memories of the place. DH bought my ring from the jewellers next door and whattya know .....I was pregnant with DS2 that very same day Watch out !

Vino >>>

Right ...washing machine needs some attention ........

laughalot · 13/02/2008 09:23

Oh kat is there a jewellers next door what a shame my dh dosent know that.

ladytophamhatt · 13/02/2008 13:45

Just copied and pasted this from my post 5-Feb-08 10:33:10

"Doc said he prob won't get CP now, spots would have apeared by now and because he's already ill with something else the CP virus cannot or shouldn't be able to get him"

Ha, well can some one tell me what these suspicious looking spots are on G then please.

Thy're tiny ATM but have tiny blisters on them, mostly on his back but a few behind his ears and in his hair.

Grrr i thought it was unusual when teh GP said it, but you just assume they knwo what they're talking baout don't you??

eandh · 13/02/2008 14:41

oh no LTH - how is ds3 amlmost spot free now?

Kat - mmmmn sounds an interesting night, hope dd and ds1 better soon (there are so many 24hour d&v things at the moment aren't there?)

Laughalot - oooo a jewellers how handy is that

Just been to my Mums for a bit as Ellie still tored and stroppy, they have a nie size garden so threw her out there with her electric bike, Hattie was pushing the pushalong truck and Mum got nephew today so he was just running about.

Roast chicken in the oven now need to go and do some roast potatoes and veg

Lizzzombie · 13/02/2008 14:58

ooooooooooooohhh - LTH - take a photo of G's spots!
I am going to inspect DJ in the bath tonight and see if he has anything.

Was talking to someone last night whose DD1 got it really bad and her spots got infected poor little mite.

ladytophamhatt · 13/02/2008 16:08

ohhhhFFFFS, some stupid twat just drove into our car....

bloody loory driver speeding down the highstreet and hit our parked car.

we were in boots getting medicine for G
