My feet too are pretty grim. Flexitol did bugger all. I think I also need an industrial sander. They're just so hard! Maybe 'cos I rarely wear socks at all unlike the rest of you?
Bertie's one today. He's still not great but he is on the mend. Some explosive poos still, but no more sickness and no more lethargy (he is asleep now, but when he is awake he is awake iyswim).
Evenhope sorry to hear of Chickenpox. Foxie I was in the same mind as you, wanted Bertie to get it so it was over and done with but now... my little second centile Pontipine needs a clear run of health to build up his weight and strength again. He has lost a lot of weight, I can see it on him, so skinny, and he was already a tiny baby anyway.
I have just poked myself in the eye by mistake and it really hurts!!
Everyone (well, mil and sil) is coming over later today for Bertie's birthday and I wish they weren't; they're going to pressure me into giving him "just a bit of cake" I can see it now, the lad has been on almost nowt but milk for the last day or two and I want him to have a bit more exc. bf before I re-introduce solids. But I can hear mil now, "oh he's starving!"
Don't know if you saw my other thread, the one about what mil said after I told her the Dr was wrong in his advice to stop bf. She said she thought I was being "like one of those religions that don't allow blood transfusions".
To be fair, she did apologise when it said on the back of the rehydration sachet to continue bf. But despite me being proved right so many times (e.g. BLW - did he choke to death? No!) she still continues to be skeptical at whatever I say and the blood transfusion comment really pissed me off.
I know I'm being churlish and she did apologise, but you'd have thought by now she'd have learned to trust my instincts (and knowledge - I don't just make this shit up you know) a tiny bit more?
Sorry for the rant.
Anyway, the last of our March babies is one! Light a candle, blow it out, make a wish.
