yes sponge I would also get very angry at that. Undermining he insensitive. Men. Think its work not seeing the love you put into it matters more.
Foxy. Is a break away with you and dh feasible? If so worth focussing on getting that. You need some answers from him I think? Are you ready to ask the big questions? Hugs x x

Kitty well you know what you're doing. I know you've been dissatisfied for ... As long as I've known ya! Are you moving far? Can you afford to stay there?

You should all move to lincs

kittywise · 12/03/2008 11:19

Piffle, I want to move into the village where the dc's go to school. it is only 4 miles down the road, but I have friends there and it is a lovely community.
I'm not going anywhere for a while I fear

Divastrop · 12/03/2008 16:55

feck...sorry!!!!

sponge-i was angry with dh and i intended to come back on when dd2 had finally settled down but she never actually did untill about 1.30am.she was screaming and i couldnt calm her down, and dh was sat through here on wow(he did go and see to Elsie when she woke up).

anyway, sorry about that,i expected to get back on last night

muppetisacat · 12/03/2008 20:12

still no word from jay???

Jaysthird · 12/03/2008 20:29

still here............induction in the morning, severely pissed off and upset and angry at the thought that my body cant do it au natural and has to be 'forced' into it.......but have to think of the baby. You would have thought it would have come a bit easier seeing as though J is only 11 mths!!

Havnt been keeping up with your topics of convosations, other than Kittys news. Sorry chick, that things haven't worked out for you and the other half but it sounds like you know what you want. Good luck with everything, hope it turns out for the best xxxx

Hi to everyone else (check out march 08 thread for birth post at some point!)

fitfox · 12/03/2008 21:08

Ooooh good luck for tomorrow Jay - will be thinking of you!!!

How exciting!!

Once baby is here and in your arms, you won't care so much what it took to get him/her out

spongecake · 12/03/2008 21:40

good luck jay looking forward to hearing about your new baby.
diva..hope your dd2 is ok, what was wrong with her? think i would have thrown pc out of window, you are very restrained (scrap that, i am all talk i think... my dh has backed down and now ds is having 2 cakes, mine and the professional one. just read that through and it doesn't sound very backed down, does it? well, mine will be the one in the photos. hah.

kittywise · 12/03/2008 22:12

Good luck Jay, you know you could hang on if you could bear it.
Please on't think of you body like that though. It would do it, but would take longer than you can stand to wait (quite understandable).

With very tardy babies there always has to be a toss up between what you can stand regarding the waiting, whether the baby is ok etc.
I hung on with all of mine and the last four were between 14-18 days over but it was very hard and I don't blame you for wanting it over with.

With me also as I'd had sections induction would have been much more risky so I felt I didn't have choice. I must say I would have
been sorely tempted.

With Ronnie I asked the midwife if she could 'accidently' break my waters when performing one of the many sweeps I had. She said no of course

Good luck and keep us posted.

Rosylily · 12/03/2008 22:21

sponge well done! Think you should trip over while carrying prof cake so it lands in your dhs lap! Definately agree that not being able to converse with mil has its advantages

I'm a bit stressed, kids sick i'm a frazzle and very anxious about trip. Keep thinking something bad's going to happen. Have to let go control to go with flow. Kitty i can understand how your dp feels, i get well screwed up with this trip. I keep saying if we all get back ok i don't want to go again.
Kitty your village sounds lovely.

Jay all the best. Hope you have a smooth one and look forward to news.

Piffle · 13/03/2008 10:58

Piffle · 13/03/2008 17:19

grim foxy... Are you getting better yet?
golly hope jays labour was ok and the new bundle is out no fuss.

Right have fucked up and now Finn is weaning off me . I could weep. Have been lobbing the odd bottle of vows milk mixed with formula. Only had formula as neighbour works at tesco this had no box and was about to be chucked and she gave if me. Not knowing. I've had to be on serious painkillers and the bottles allows that six hours I need.
Now unless bedtime he pushes me away and gets a bottle from cupboard and wails longingly. Oh I'm gutted. Going to try ditching bottles at weekend. Do or die. Can't believe my foolishness I knew what would happen. I'm not ready to stop feeding him.
been horrid day here. Am losing plot a bit PMT? Hope so cos if its permanent I need sectioning.
Finn for finned fresh tuna hummus and breadsticks and cucumber. Agh well whatever works

fitfox · 13/03/2008 17:42

IKWYM about BFing Piff I am quite pleased Monti hates the bottle

Try spending some skin to skin time with him in a quiet room this weekend if thats poss and that might work [hugs]

kittywise · 13/03/2008 18:19

help me my thread has been populated by lunatics

Rosylily · 13/03/2008 20:57

foxy we are flying from dublin at 4am or some ridiculous hour. We arrive in pakistan on monday. I'll be a wreck but hopefully the children will sleep alot on the journey.

Piffle i hope you get finn back on breast feeding track. Or you may have to have another baby i hope you feel better soon. Are you sleeping enough? Bad sleep always sends me loopy.

Where is lunar these days?

Kitty tried to read your thread but this phone is so slow. It is upsetting. I hope it all gets sorted out properly.

Rosylily · 13/03/2008 21:00

oops 4am on sunday, not tomorrow (phew)

fitfox · 13/03/2008 21:45

OooOO

HAVE YOU STARTED PACKING YET rOSY?

(takes caps lock off)

spicemonster · 13/03/2008 21:56

Ooh what a clever and strong finn you have there piffle! I have a very cute video of elliot crawling towards me that I might post. He's going to be one tomorrow . Where the hell did the time go eh? I haven't wrapped his presents yet and I might not bother. Should we go swimming for his birthday treat? We've never been before - what do you think? Good idea or bad?

I wonder how jay is getting on?

Piffle · 13/03/2008 22:24

happy birthday for tomorrow Elliott! Wow amazing how quick it has gone by. Swimming is great Finn LOVES it.
oh would love to see videos of everyone else. Today Finn has been walking lots as well. Then freaking himself out when he realises. He walks by accident I think...
E sure won't care about wrapping saz! What have you got him? I want a wheelie bug for Finn, given his obsession with wheels and all!

evenhope · 13/03/2008 22:41

Well we are back from NZ after a very convoluted journey home and a 24 hour delay. So instead of getting home yesterday morning so we'd be fit for DD's birthday today (and her swimming lesson) we didn't get home until after 5pm tonight

She's slept since we got in so we're postponing the birthday till tomorrow.

She is very brown but still not walking or talking. She shouts "ab" at birds, so we assume that is a word, and has learned to make noises with her tongue.

kittywise · 13/03/2008 22:44

oh yes happy birthday to elliot saz

Piffle, finn looked amazing, he's obviously a very strong and detirmined little chap!! about the weaning. They all do it at different ages don't they? I can understand how you're feeling though.

Rosy, best of luck for you trip. I think you are very brave. I really hope the v& d bugs leave you all alone. We will miss you.

yes, Jay MUST have her baby by now?

Rosylily · 14/03/2008 03:49

happy birthday elliot! Swimming sounds like a good plan.
Welcome back evenhope and happy birthday to your dd! Hope you recover swiftly from that journey and can have a fun day.
Piffle i cant see the vid on this phone package. I'll have to catch up when i get back and get computer sorted and maybe even post a clip of hasan.
Foxy i'm almost all packed. Get well soon!

Big massive moan alert- I went to bed 4 hours ago and i've been up 3 times with ds2 and 3 times with hasan. I dropped a bottle of calpol and it is smashed all over the kitchen in a pink sticky sharp shardy mess. Hasans been sick all over me 3 times yesterday. I have 2 days to get on top of the total mess i'm in physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
Dh is not much help . I think he might be cleaning the mess up in the kitchen, i hope so.
