kittywise · 01/03/2008 17:31

Divastrop · 01/03/2008 17:43

oh i dont want to kill, just seriously injure.it would be fun.

kittywise · 01/03/2008 19:02

yes, but WHO?!!!!!!

Divastrop · 01/03/2008 20:14

i was ready to go for everybody in the house except dd2 and Elsie!

ds2 has turned into a whinger(see here,a bump would be appreciated :),ds1 stormed out of the library in tears cos he got told off by one of the librarians,dd1 has been behaving like a 2 year old(messing about in shops etc),and i was pissed off with dh but its sorted now and he is cooking me a meal.

ReverseThePolarity · 01/03/2008 20:32

Hi everyone, happy birthday Diva and Rosy, sorry I've been so crappy with keeping up.

Jay... not long now, hang on in there... saveloy? God I couldn't bear the thought of that myself and I'm not even trying to induce anything!

Shanks not long now... and another girl to keep little Deanna company... if you're continuing with the theme, you'll have to call her Kira after my favourite character

Piffle Finn is walking.... how cute!!!

So tired at the moment, and it's kind of finally starting to hit me that I am back at work officially, and it's starting to feel very final. So I'm starting to think if I'm going to have to do paid work I might at least get a job that's well-paid and challenging (although not 60 hour weeks like the bad old days)... I've a lot of things floating around in my head atm.

Dh's eye op is next Wednesday so that's in my mind too... and peer supporter stuff GOD HOW CAN IT BE THIS DIFFICULT to set up an effing bf support group??????? But it bloody is. The saga continues. Ah well.

Have lost a good amount of weight and am nearly at my twelve stone target (that was my pre-pg weight or thereabouts) now... I would love to get under my pre-pg weight but I'm being realistic.

Can't seem to organise thoughts.

Bertie is doing just great. He crawls like pro when he wants to (i.e. if he sees the cat), but much prefers to cruise around the furniture. He is ridiculously cute still (I am biased though) and is finally starting in 6-9 month clothes (at ten and half months!)

Some photos on FB as you know, and others on flickr.

He says ka (cat), dag (dog), mumum, da, nana (banana, not the relative), 'ig lie (big light), kitchure (picture) so he's pretty vocal really. Oh and my goodness does he point! At everything!

And he adores the cat flap. To him it is the funniest thing in the universe.

Right dh is out tonight so I'm off to have a glass of juice and read a book! (I have finally worked out that giving up most alcohol has made the weight drop off.)

fitfox · 01/03/2008 21:55

Careful with that pick axe, Eugene!!

bethoo · 01/03/2008 21:55

Reverse - Hayden also points at everything though making noises only says mama and dada though he has not said those words for about a week!! he does wave like he is royalty at virtually everyone and everything!!

Rosylily · 02/03/2008 11:03

happy mothers day everyone
I'm still playing with the mobile here. I dont know if dh was dazzled by the phone or the pretty sales woman but we finally worked out we have internet on the mobile and have to pay an extra £5 a month for broadband. Sigh. Ds1 and i agreed that we missed our online communities and felt like the borg when they got separated from the collective. Unfortunately i don't also look like seven of nine!
Anyway i've been tryng to read the thread a bit.
Reverssy i really feel for you with your dhs eye situation that must be hard.
Piffle sorry to read about your loss.
Bethoo that is very sad about your doggy.
Jay may the force be with you!

Rosylily · 02/03/2008 11:08

Jaysthird · 03/03/2008 14:40

still here, still no baby .....second acupuncture this morning.....nothing going on as yet

kittywise · 03/03/2008 19:36

Jay, I went 18 days over with Ronnie remember ?

Jaysthird · 03/03/2008 20:22

i had forgot, did they let you go over without trying to pressurise you? My MW has already stated her position on refusing induction, as in shes not for it!!

Divastrop · 03/03/2008 20:44

jay-he/she(?) is your baby, just be firm and say unless there is a real medical reason for induction then you dont want one.

or do what my mum did.she went in to be induced with me,hung up her coat, out down her bag,and her waters broke

kittywise · 03/03/2008 20:54

jay, they knew I didn't want one. I had a history of going over anyway. I think it's fab that your mw has that attitude, it's far better for the babe if it can come when it's ready, even though it's a pain for you !
