Even the growing babies fit in the nomad flame - tis designed to last for years you know!

Well I said dd was knackered, and she proved it by sleeping for 2 hours on my lap this afternoon. Hopefully she will still manage to sleep tonight - she's having a long bath to try and help make her sleepy.

Hi UniS - we wondered where you'd gone. No such thing as too much MN time you know .

Ooh - dd out the bath - better go dry hair and feed.

Frizbe · 27/01/2008 20:09

OOoooh Jas, Meridian has just dug out her old car seat, which is only 4 years old for me

FlameNFurter · 27/01/2008 20:19

Is it?? It looks teeny!

I'm ignoring pains now a fine method.

{shock] for you and rl Uni!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2008 20:29

MN review says birth to 3, but one reviewer says 'even my 5 year old can lie down in it'.

damewashalot · 27/01/2008 20:50

Hello, just sticking my head in, but you'll all be off elsewhere if I'm on here.

Scan was fine and baby not looking too huge yet (thoughts of bigger than 9lb 15 scare me)will go scan thread.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2008 20:54
FlameNFurter · 27/01/2008 21:09

Lol - shall we try putting DD in it to test the theory? The website I looked at said birth - 4. I like the idea of just doing it all up then he can't escape to bug me in the night

Yay for normal sized baby scan Dame! How far gone are you now?

damewashalot · 27/01/2008 21:41

See I come to catch up and end up spending ages on the phone!

Nearly 21 wks flame and starting to feel a bit more real. but SPD kicking in early helps with the real!

started to read back a bit then been on the phone so didn't get far have I missed exciting stuff?

damewashalot · 27/01/2008 21:49

I barged my was in to join you lot when I was slightly more pg than I am now, but not much, how come I have no urge to join ante natal thread this time?? Maybe I'm just getting unfriendly

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2008 21:55

Maybe you just love us so much that you know no other 'club' could compare ?

damewashalot · 27/01/2008 21:59

That'll be it

I'm off for an early night as am on my own, dh is in US for the week so I may be around a bit more.

FlameNFurter · 27/01/2008 22:07

I was pondering the other day if I would join another thread, or just bore you lot stupid with my whinging - I decided I'd probably just bore you, but I would try out a rl group so that I could flog nappies if nothing else

(Are you doing a rl group dame?? Want some business cards? )

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2008 22:21

I think I might be inclined to pop my head in to a new thread to say hello, but not be such a regular as I am on here. Didn't you second/third timers get bored of us first timers with this lot?

FlameNFurter · 27/01/2008 22:48

When you're going through it all yourself it is all very vivid, plus you get the smug btdt thing

It was a completely new experience doing it all online too.

I think we have gotten very close, and not all of the ante/postnatal threads do. I would be blundering in expecting that same level of closeness and I doubt it would match up.

damewashalot · 28/01/2008 10:18

I guess that's it flame I feel comfy on here and when stuff is happening, eg my bleeding etc it felt like you lot cared, would a whole new bunch of people be that way?

Oh and where is everyone?????? I've frightened you all off

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/01/2008 10:20

Noother A/nthread is still going strong 2 years down the line is it? We must jus be special

I can't imagine joining a new thread if I was pg again.I think I'd be too any way.
It was great to bore everybody with my whinging on here as in rl everyone assumes as it is third time round here is nothing left to say

[smie] Glad I've been replaced mrm.

Csws - the only day I am still free over 1/2 term now is the Friday....any good to you?

Don't know could pop my nose in maybe, there does seem to be someone else with 3 boys already but....... it's safe and friendly in here

Chloe55 · 28/01/2008 14:27

EEPM - ds has conjunctivitis too. I feel so mean pinning him down and getting ointment in his eyes whilst he's screaming 'no please mummy, noooooooo!'

Glad all is well with you Dame

I really should be doing housework, I really can't be bothered.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/01/2008 15:19
