CSWS its cause you're on here more often than I these days!!! I read everything since I last posted as 'to be replied to'

Huge whinge here, so feel free to ignore, but I gota get it off my chest before I kill dh.

Ssssoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopissed off its untrue.
Came back from work this am, having done the kid swap at work, and having struggled round the shops with them in tow, doing the rest of the 'birthday party' food shopping to find the house a tip
Not even a friggin cup or plate from breakfast shifted or washed ss's clothes still on the floor by the washer, his white school shirt inside it clean, but not even hung upto dry ss's wash basket outside his door, but not brought downstairs. The FRICKing Ironing still not completed (2 weeks worth again) bags dumped in the hall, yada yada yada.....

I asked dd1 if she wanted to live with me or her dad when we get divorced, she's chosen her dad, so that's that then Sooooo annoyed at him and his lazy arse. Last night at 9pm, when he'd been sat on the sofa since we both got back from work, he said, are you coming to sit down or what? to which I replied, once I've finished working I will and I thought I'd left things nicely for him, ya know all he had to do was empty this washer this am and do the frigging washing up and ironing, its not like I'm asking the earth is it?????? and sorry for taking up the thread, but well done if you've read this

Frizbe · 01/03/2008 13:14

So now I have to tidy the house top to bottom, do the ironing, make birthday cakes, go entertain his friends at the pub tonight for 'tea' and then do the friggin party stuff.

SlugsNSnails · 01/03/2008 17:18

No advice, but

SlugsNSnails · 01/03/2008 17:59

Think I have emailed you the KM story CSWS

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/03/2008 22:32

Oh Friz - sounds like a normal day in our house.

Anyone else watch Eurovision? Michelle was robbed .

EachPeachPearMum · 02/03/2008 00:06

Eurovision was on tonight?
Isn't it usually in may?

mustrunmore · 02/03/2008 07:55

It was the one to see who sings for the Uk. I wasnt allowed to watch it, then we ended up watching 100 cringiest pop moments or something

DontDreamItBeIt · 02/03/2008 08:07

EPPM - we need you on the book swap.

Frizbe.
I hope today is better.

No lie in here. DS was up at 6. (Usually sleeps til7)
DP is supposed to be working here again, after he did the opposite of all the things I asked him to do yesterday.
I won't be holding my breath.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/03/2008 08:30

DD was up at 4 (for ages) and 5:20 .
Still have my crappy head.
Going out for lunch with in-laws.

mustrunmore · 02/03/2008 08:34

Oh joy

Well, dh excelled himself with a lovely mothers day card (although TBH, I dont realy get why you get them with 'wife' on, seeing as you dont have kids with your mother...), and the bic 4 colour biro I really really wanted The boys made me a card each with him, although it was the ones I started them off doing when I had a run, and he decided to turn them int omothers day. And I have the one ds1 didi at nursery; same design as last year! Apparently I have a present, and ds1 was supposed to remember to give it me, but he's forgotten!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/03/2008 08:43

I've got a card that my mum sent from dd, and a card and hand and foot print that dd did with the CM.

Dh is making breakfast, but don't think he's got anything else.

Frizbe · 02/03/2008 10:52

Thanks girls, things are looking better today, but obviously only cause I did everything yesterday (sigh) Still dh did at least make breakfast and load the dishwasher this morning which is a start! dd1 did me a lovley card and then dh got cards from all the kids to me, dd2 brought me a mug and coster set , dd1 got me a mothers day hippo is that subliminal? which she has since spent the morning asking me if I really want it,as she quite like it and ss got me a bottle of wine that boy is good

I didn't get the cake done last night, as after we got back from dinner and got the kids to bed it was 21:00, so I tried to make a cake, but then discovered a bit of the palet knife I used to scrape the bowl out, appeared to have broken off, so I couldn't risk someone finding a chunk of metal in the cake, so I chucked the lot in the bin I then took my arse to sainsbo's to get another batch of cake butter, as only had enough for one cake, then whislt there, started feeling funny in my tummy got home and had a bout of the trots I appear to be ok this am??? so lord knows what that was???? have made cake and will ice shorlty! will be attempting Peppa pig, but bet it won't look half as good as Jas's Iggle Piggle.

Frizbe · 02/03/2008 10:55

CSWS hope your lunch with the outlaws is ok? I caught the end of eurovision and to be honest I don't think either entry is much good, but I did prefer Michelle Gayles too.

Jas for your dh doing the opposite, why can't they just do as we ask eh!!

MRM at your cards and your pen, any particular reason why you wanted a four colour one, you have me wondering?

SlugsNSnails · 02/03/2008 18:22

I'll try and catch up later, but for now,

I got a semi lay in this morning - DS kept crying and not being settled from about 9.30 though, so I got up to take him to bed with me in an attempt to get him to sleep.

DH cooked breakfast - so a yay.

I had to find my cards from DD myself, where he had put them away from Emrys, no presenting them or anything. The cards were drawings on plain paper - he said he couldn't find the card - I don't think he looked because I found it exactly where I had told him it was.

Been out since about 1.30pm with the kids, he stayed at home. Dropped them home about half 5 and went to my mum's alone for 1/2 hour for a cuppa.

Now back, started dinner, and he has announced he's going to bed for 1/2 hr?!?!? He couldn't have done that in the 4 1/2 hours I was out??? No. He is doing it now because I need the computer and the only other option for him is to spend time with his children.

I'm getting to the stage of wondering if I would be better off alone.

Phoenix · 02/03/2008 18:59

(((huge hugs))) Flame . at him too

I got a card, little bear and huge bunch of flowers for mothers day We've cooked dinner for my parents today and had a really nice day

Ooo and Darren Day was in the florist where we picked my mums flowers up from this morning. I knew he was now married to a woman from Barnsley but never thought i'd see him here

Hope everyone's ok

WhyTryAnymore · 02/03/2008 19:30

Bein a married woman wouldn't bother him most likely

he came back and said sorry afterwards, without me glowering. and he took his st johns wort without being nudged, which I think must be good

WhyTryAnymore · 02/03/2008 19:30

I'm sooo good at incognito

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/03/2008 19:35

Just a quickie - just got back from lunch , but Darren and Suzanne Shaw lived just down the road from me - one of my nearest neighbours in fact, although never saw them out and about.

mustrunmore · 02/03/2008 19:53

Flame, you'd be better off with me

Arghh! Lovely kitchen thing in Hatfield, but 8" too long for my Dads car.Not worth paying for van hire, and dont really want t oask friend with estate car again, as owe her too amny favours already. Typical.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/03/2008 21:21

Am guessing it wouldn't fit in mine with dd in as well?

Well lunch was crap. Turned out that the place the in-laws had booked was a hotel (with golf course etc). Starters were very 70's - tomato soup, prawn cocktail, pate (which I'd have liked but obv couldn't have) or melon. Main course was a carvery, but the worst carvery I've ever had. Crackling was nice, but obviously very salty, and they didn't even do stuffing!

Dd ate some mange tout, a couple of bites of (overcooked) yorkshire pudding, and a little bit of ice cream. She is so off her food at the moment. She ate half a boiled egg white and some cucumber for her tea. She'd played with a crumpet for breakfast but eaten little/none of it. I expect we'll be up in the night again because she's hungry.

Went back to the in-laws afterwards and dd had a feed and slept on my lap using my boob as a pillow . I did at least manage to doze off for 20 mins myself, which was the highlight of my day.

To add to the sinus headache I now have a barking cough and feel sick (not sure if ms or a bug as dd was sick on Thurs).

Hugs flame. If I had any useful advice then I'd have a better marriage myself .

EachPeachPearMum · 02/03/2008 22:27

csws- maybe dd has sympathy pg sickness? Can sympathise with the sinus thing though- I had terrible problems through my pg with sinuses. For me it meant only sleeping on one side, which helped, as I tend to only get infected when sleeping on the left IYSWIM. Though this didn't help her positioning of course [grr]

Flame- if it makes you feel any better, dh managed to buy me 'ghostbusters' on dvd for mothers day.

Not exactly sure why? He mumbled something about 'you're the only person our age who hasn't seen it'....

Didn't get a lie-in either- dh had one until 10.

EachPeachPearMum · 02/03/2008 22:28

Jas- I emailed discover life...

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2008 07:31

I think I was poisoned by the crap lunch. Very upset stomach last night and this morning.

You haven't seen ghostbusters .

Flamesparrow · 03/03/2008 08:40

Is it wrong to snigger at your pain EPPM? I would reeeeeeeally love to have a man brain for the day and see exactly what does go on in there.

I am much chirpier today thankfully, and not planning on leaving DH

How you feelin today CSWS?

DS is still a bit off, but is eating today, which is a bonus.

Just so you all know our plans - me n MRM are moving in together. Men are living next door for easy childcare and sex (not at the same time).

We're thinking life would be much more harmonious that way
