Not sure if we should about possible pg or not!!!

Glad things are sorted at work

referral update thread

Chloe55 · 27/02/2008 16:12

No I'm not sure either!! Obviously want it to happen at some point but just not sure now, if we are then I'm sure we will both be chuffed as it will be unexpected considering we have been trying for 9mths to no avail but it's weird that we reassess our situation, decide a different course and then mother nature has possibly come along and screwed up our plans again Like I say, won't have a clue for at least another week so I guess I'll just have sit on it for now.

DontDreamItBeIt · 27/02/2008 16:46

We're due to go to Leoland again soon, too. Maybe in the summer?

Ds fell asleep in thecar after 5 mins on the way home today, and slepf for 45 mins, despite me lumping him out of the car into the buggy and back again.

I was a nice afternoon out, if a little too short. Thanks csws

Chloe - I'm going with

We'll both have a crappy bedtime then Jas. Can't get dd to wake properly even after 2 hours .

Back to read properly later.

Frizbe · 27/02/2008 20:31

Chloe glad that work got sorted out, I shan't get too excited for you yet, though another bump on here would be good

CSWS/Jas hope you had a good day out and that bedtimes not been too bad?

Dame yep we were there till the bitter end eh next bloody month, oh why are my kids always late? never mind, at least you're prepared this time eh

Phoenix I felt the bloomin quake here dh was very funny actually, I woke up with the bed lurching forward cakewalk style, and thought 'shit earthquake' so I yelled 'earthquake' at dh, he lept out of bed ninja style and landed in a 'where's the assilant?' pose, yelling, what's happening, what's going on? by which point through my laughter I managed to tell him there was a quake happening, he said 'no there's not' then a load of stuff fell off our shelf it was very funny. It woke dd1 but not dd2 Speaking to my mum tonight, whose about 25 miles away as the crow flies from the epicentre, she said it was the noise that woke them 1st, before the house went all wobbly, she also mentioned the cat did a runner at 9pm and refused to come back in the house at 11pm and he never stays out, so she's taking heed the next time he does one!

EachPeachPearMum · 27/02/2008 20:56

We didn't feel it this time, though we were very tired. Actually, probably only fell asleep about 10 mins before it happened

Last time was quite scary (2005) as we had an empty wooden coathanger on the back of our bedroom door which started banging around and woke us both. Was quite surreal.

The best one was 1990, when I was on the top floor of my school (3rd floor) in a geography lesson, studying earthquakes. The chairs and tables all started shaking, so I turned around to admonish the class joker sitting behind me, to find him staring at his desk in disbelief!
The window panes were moving in and out like they do in bomb blasts too. Was all very serendipitous. We were quite close to the epicentre though, so it was quite strong. Was 5.1 if I remember... (what a sad little geographer I am )

2boysmacca · 27/02/2008 20:58

I remember that EPPM, I was in the middle of a mock French A'level exam at the time!

EachPeachPearMum · 27/02/2008 21:14

'Alors! La terre est vivant!'

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/02/2008 21:58

Good job you told your friend's girlfriend your name flame, cause you don't stand out at all obviously on here .

Good luck for the right result Chloe, whatever that is.

How was bedtime Jas? Dd finally went off at 9:30! Let's hope I get a bit of a lie in . Thank you for a lovely afternoon though. We stayed for about an hour after you left, then went as dd was looking a bit tired. She had a ball in the soft play, and seemed to find a couple of other boys to play with.

SlugsNSnails · 27/02/2008 22:27

I know - I'm very private and shy

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/02/2008 22:34

What is your current moniker about anyway? Did you tell this one, or your normal one?

Someone start a new thread will you?!

DontDreamItBeIt · 27/02/2008 23:15

Surely we should wait for Frizbe and Dames (babies) birthdays before the new thread? I'll do it if we need one though.

Tomorrow.

9.30 when he finally went to sleep Was fine upstairs chatting to dd2 until he saw me, then he cried and wailed and I had to bring him downstairs, wipe the tears and put him back to bed.

Happy Birthday Sally!

I have no idea tbh - I remember reading boysontoast and suddenly thinking "Oooh slugs n snails!"

I am aware that there is no link between the two.

I told her both this name and Flamesparrow (including that most Flame names are me too). She'll probably sit chatting to Flameboy or Flame17 now

I agree - no new thread unless we fill up this one before the last birthdays.

SlugsNSnails · 28/02/2008 08:32

DS spent the night in our bed

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 09:15

Morning

Happy Birthday Sally

I think we sould try keep this thread running for the last few birthdays, are we scrapping the stats list on the new thread?

Its my day off today.

damewashalot · 28/02/2008 10:10

If you remember last year we had a happy birthday neve and Alfie thread for ages as we just filled the old one too soon

Someone noticed I am pg!!! at last, everyone must think I'm getting fat still

SlugsNSnails · 28/02/2008 10:58

Scrapping stats

I'm not sure if I can cope with that big a change....

We need a vote

Phoenix · 28/02/2008 11:42

Not my idea to scrap the stats, it was mentioned at the beginning of this one cos a few asked for their lo's names not to be on anymore. Maybe just put our mn names, D.O.B of lo's and boy or girl??

mustrunmore · 28/02/2008 13:09

Why do we actually need stats? I'd rather opt out

SlugsNSnails · 28/02/2008 14:11

I'm not sure why we need stats either, my reaction is a little bit why DD is like she is... I'm not good with change either

2boysmacca · 28/02/2008 14:14

No stats here, or at least remove my details please.

mustrunmore · 28/02/2008 14:19

Hello macca!

mustrunmore · 28/02/2008 14:19

flame, I've got a pot of honey herer for you Def not posting it!

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 14:52

I think it was my idea. I'm voting no stats.
You can always bookmark an old thread and look if you need to check someones deails Flame
