Happy Birthday Rhuaridh George

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 13:31

We are home

He's sat on my knee now fast asleep after not sleeping well for 2 nights and no naps for 2 days.

They've sent him home with antibiotics but don't actually know what was wrong with him. He is walking fine now although the blotches are still there but have gone down since Saturday.

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 13:32

yay for homeness!! for them not knowing what it is though!

EachPeachPearMum · 11/02/2008 13:54

Phoenix- that is really good news! Hope he's back to his usual self soon. {extra hug} for you for a horrible few days.

JuA · 11/02/2008 14:09

Phoenix - how scary that must have been - so pleased that you are back home now.

Dts are sleeping - I am dreading the day they give up their daytime nap - I so need them to have it!
They had their 24 month check up today - what a complete waste of time. They had to build a tower, scribble with some crayons and play with a jigsaw! Dt2 was very quiet yet is usually the more chatty one and her speech is more advaced than dt1 but she wasn't for talking today!

Facial and massage sounds wonderful - must mention that to dh!

Flame - one spot could still turn into CP - Dt1 had one for a couple of days before any more turned up! then they turned up on dt2 and dd1 all within about 4 days!

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 14:43

Tis more than DD had to do at her check!

EachPeachPearMum · 11/02/2008 15:05

Is there a 24 mo check?????

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 15:11

Just had a read of ds' discharge notes and they say

?? hand, foot and mouth disease ??
Ab's to cure bacterial infection

So csws could be right about hand foot and mouth, well hand and foot cos he's got no probs with his mouth.

Chloe55 · 11/02/2008 15:21

A big group Happy Birthday to the birthdays I have missed over the past couple of days!

Pg - sounds horrible what you have been through over the weekend, how weird the infection affected his feet like that?! Glad he is on the mend though.

Also pleased your dd how no broken elbow (hopefully) Friz!

Had a nice day yesterday, had a house full at mums for ds's bday (it isn't til tomorrow but had party yesterday). I didn'y give myself enough time to make a cake so bought a ITNG one which went down a treat - ds looked mortified though when he pulled Upsy Daisy's head off And as a bonus for me everyone commented on how much weight I had lost and dh backed me up by telling everyone how proud he was of me for working so hard at it

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 15:38

I know, i think the way it affected his feet is what has puzzled the docs.

We've still got ds' ITNG cake to have cos he went into hosp on his b'day.

Happy Birthday to all the lo's i've missed too

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 16:51

The ab's are making ds' nappies really disgusting, eeeeeewwwwwwww!!! I've just changed him and made dh put him straight in the bath, it was everywhere.

I've put a few pics from his birthday on my profile.

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 17:00

For a horrible moment I thought that said pics of his nappy!!!

for the hospital pic

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 17:03

Where's my profile??

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 17:06

Ah, there it is!

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 17:12

Pic of Flameboy on his first birthday being a present is now in my profile

mustrunmore · 11/02/2008 18:29

Hello, I'm here. I've been doingthe reading-not-posting thing! DS2 asleep at 6.10pm face down in his dinner now in bed. me and ds1 watching Ratatouille (invested 2 lots of my pinecone luncheon vouchers in it!)
Not lost any weight in 9 days

Sorry , forogtten all, except Jas has a crap pc and phoenix et al are home What a relief!

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 19:55

Aww for DS2!!!

How's you rpains now?

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/02/2008 20:10

Hello!!

We went swimming today. It was crap. They made us wait 15 mins for lessons to finish (advertised the wrong starting time) then told us the teaching pool wasn't going to be opened due to staff shortage Luckily I was with a friend, and both dds are big, so she took them into the big pool, and I spent an hour holding ds on the side while he yelled "plash!" at the water I did try him in it but it is very cold and deep and he hated it.

We're going to go to a different pool tomorrow with my mum and dad.

Glad to see you are home Phoenix.

Chloe - well done on weight loss

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/02/2008 22:19

Glad you are home again Phoenix, and that ds is walking again.

Up at my parents now. Dd slept in car from 6:25 to 8:10 (no nap during the day) so I didn't get her to bed until 9:45. Hopefully she won't be woken by the early trains at 6am.

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 08:03

Grr for your swimming Jas.

Did DD get woken CSWS?

I feel like hell. I think someone has shoved glass under my cheekbones in the night. Ok, sinuses is another fairly sound reason for the pain...

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/02/2008 08:05

We'll be trying again today. Wish us luck...

I hope the pain clears up quickly.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/02/2008 09:07
