for ds Phoenix not good, on his poor birthday too {{{hugs}}} to you too, hope you get a nice private room? and hope he's soon fixed.

Flame if CSWS doesn't want either of the dresses, you can chuck one up here if you like, we can always use a good party dress (if they don't cost the earth to post)

No one lives too near Camden then do they? don't think any of you do? Shame about the fire for all the traders and people living nearby, hope they get it under control soon.

Frizbe · 09/02/2008 21:52

Happy Early Birthday then to ds Kel

Happy Birthday to Evie for tomorrow Hotmama if you're still about out there?

dd1 just going to sleep here, fingers x'd she sleeps thru, she's got the sling on still, fingers so xxxx'd!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/02/2008 22:05

Great cake Kel! Is the man in the black shirt Chard?

DontDreamItBeIt · 09/02/2008 22:21

Where are you seeing Kel's pictures???

OP posts:
KelBelle · 09/02/2008 22:22

Hello CSWS. Yes that is Chard!! My friend Nikki made the cake and she made a carriage to go on it with lots of jaffa cakes and choccie fingers on it. Yummy!!! The cake we will have on Tuesday, carriage went today.

KelBelle · 09/02/2008 22:25

DDIBI - The photos are on facebook

Frizbe · 09/02/2008 22:33

yawn, will look at facebook sometime tomorrow, am very tired and all now asleep, so I'm going to bed too, nite all.

EachPeachPearMum · 09/02/2008 23:17

I think my sofas must be that then csws! Is it really easy to wipe spills off? Its very hard wearing anyway- we had these 5 years almost, and they look nearly good as new, even after 2 years of babydom.

mustrunmore · 10/02/2008 08:41

Friz, dh's inintial comment was 'isnt it funny how they wanted to knock that down to extend the tube?'. Then I pointed our its the other end of Camden, and he was disappointed hat he hadnt unearthed some subterfuge
We diid nt see any later news; did they put it out in the end?

lol at you two and your settees while everyone else is having a crisis!!

Was going to do a run, but the frost is about a metre deep

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/02/2008 09:06

Go and do the run, it will wake you up!

OP posts:
Frizbe · 10/02/2008 11:05

Jas is right, a nice crisp run will do the trick

lol at your dh and his conspiracy theory
I think they've put it out? not heard owt on news yet? (not had news on either)

Phoenix, how's ds doing today? how are you?

so dd1 only woke at 2am for more drugs, dd2 decided to pester me from 5am onwards I got her to drop off at 7am, she slet through my alarm at 8am and finally woke at 8.30 have left her and dd1 very excited with Gran, as she's back from her holidays

Phoenix · 10/02/2008 13:34

Just on quick while i've nipped home for more stuff, if dh knew i was on mn while he's stuck at the hospital he'd go mad .

Lewis is walking today but only on his tip toes, he still can't put his heels down. The pead has been to look at him this morning and said there's still swollen glands in his throat and also his groin and his bloods and urine results are showing all the signs of infection. The redness is still on his feet so they are doubling the dose of ab's and keeping him in til late tomorrow or possibly tuesday.

I'm very tired, hardly slept last night. Ds had some antibiotics at 1am ish and woke up while the nurse was attaching him to the pump thing and stayed awake while it was all done then he was wide awake at 6am.

Frizbe · 10/02/2008 13:37

Oh Phoenix, sorry to hear its a few day job, but at least they're getting him fixed, do they have any idea what kind of infection it is? we won't tell dh (shhhhh) Give ds {{{Big Hugs}}} from us.

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2008 16:21

Oh Phoenix it sounds horrible. When you're out and home again, try and make sure someone is around to help YOU 2-3 days after you get back. I know from myself and watching Psycho that it is then that it all suddenly hits, the adrenalin wears off and you end up in a not coping, sobbing slump

I have read and taken in nothing.

I'm meant to be at a birthday party with DS, but went to change his nappy before we left and there was a bloody great spot (with head - probably teeth n eyes too) on his hip. Dropped in the present and we decided that with all of the kids there, it wasn't worth risking it. He fell asleep on the way home, so I guess I'll find out in an hour or so if he is covered in spots If he IS then DD had better hurry up and get it to match, I'm not having the car pass the MOT only for her to come down with it on Saturday!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2008 17:30

Why do my children do this?? They break out with ONE spot when there is chickenpox around, but nothing else!

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2008 21:09

Go see the Aug 08 antenatal thread!! Tis scary - they do the stats every couple of posts for some reason

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/02/2008 21:19

My goodness! It's hardly surprising that they need to update it so often when they include all of their next appointment dates and the ages (in months) of their children!!

Should I be crossing my fingers that they get chickenpox, or that they don't?

Glad that Lewis is showing some improvement, and hoping that he shows lots more by tomorrow.

EachPeachPearMum · 10/02/2008 21:36

Oh Phoenix, I am thinking of you (even if I am wittering about sofas...) Do you get to stay at the hospital with him? How does that work?

Flamesparrow · 10/02/2008 21:41

I have no bloody idea CSWS! probably that they don't. DD will be devastated if she has to miss school.

DS is up now. He ain't bloody ill. I was looking forward to 2 hours at the party with my friend

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/02/2008 22:43

Hello

I hope you and your boy get home soon Phoenix.

I've spent the past 1.5 hours trying to make headed paper for dp. I wish I knew what I was doing.
I keep seeing free/cheap computer ourses, bt they are no good fo me cos I have a mac I need someone to show me what to do, but the only people I know who could help are in France and Switzerland.I've got something which will have to do him for now. I've had enough fiddling about for one night.

I also spent ages two days ago fiddling about sorting out business cards for him just for him to say he didn't want any just as I was about to order them. He sheepishly admitted yesterday that he was asked for his card twice while on a job so I win that one at least.

DS posted his mobile phone into the fish tnk today. He want amused!

Glad it isn't CP (this time) but I'm tending towards hoping they do get it, then at least you'll know thy've had it iyswim. What happened re the mumps worry?

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 07:54

Think the mumps thing was just throat n sinusy thing - I was assuming at the time it was just me tired and panicking

I want them to get CP, but not now iyswim - I am really looking forward to next week, and I can't take a poxy child to newly pregnant woman. I have rubbed DD against spotty children so many times now it is getting silly, and she just refuses point blank to get it. i am still leaning towards DH passing on some weirdy genetic immunity. Whenever they come near it they seem to get one big spot, but nothing else. It seems odd that they don't get the freak spots when they haven't been in contact with it (does that make sense?)

lol @ your DH admitting about the business cards With the letter heads - can you not tell one of us what kind of thing you want and we email a template?

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/02/2008 08:52

Thanks, but one of the many problems I have is that I can't open things like that. I think my computer has had some kind of virus. The entire word processing program disappeared for ages, and I have finally managed to reload it, but if I finish somethng and save it, I can't open it agin

I also thought dp was passing immunity o to the dds re cp, as he was sure he hadn't had it, and they never go it despite loads of contact. They both broke out on the same day, but it was when dd1 was almost 6.

OP posts:
Frizbe · 11/02/2008 09:12

Oh Jas don't know what to suggest re the computer can anyone give you any virus software???

Flame, Meridians son was like this till a few months ago when he finally caught it.

{{{Hugs}}} Phoenix, how's ds this am?

Happy Birthday Rhuaridh George if you're still looking Mrs D

Both girls very happy to see dh here and he's given me a day off work today so I'm just handing over, then its off for a browse around some shops sans kids for me, and then I have my xmas pressie to use this afternoon, of facial and back massage

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/02/2008 09:55

Ah yes, happy birthday RHUARIDH GEORGE .

So are you saying Jas that you have to do the letterhead and print it off all in one go, and then you will lose it?

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/02/2008 10:08

yes.
