Oh silly me - I forgot to say earlier ..

Happy Birthday Oscar
Happy Birthday Ben.

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 16:37

I want a new face They are still ramming glass under my cheeks. got to the chemist and asked for syndol and groaned "sinuses".

Lovely woman produced 4 different things, and when I looked completely bewildered and on the verge of tears, she found ones with painkillers in that I could take with the syndol

I have now taken both - one makes me sleep, one makes me bounce... intrigued what will happen. Most likely sleep with nightmares Still, if it stops my face hurting... Had nightmares when I slept earlier anyway - child abuse thread bad for sleep.

mustrunmore · 12/02/2008 17:07

At the risk of sounding selfish... am a bit owrried that you sent your tummy ache this way, and I dont want your sinuses to follow Poor you

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 17:52

bah - the syndol and sudafed combo is loooooooooovely - my nose is running, and my face has either stopped aching or i am too high to care I have no idea why syndoml has such a strong effect on me.

Sorry for the typos... cna't be arsed to change em

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 17:55

Oh, I actually planned to write that DS fell down the stairs, caught his head on the stairgate and has a new lump the other side of his head. Nursery will look

Meant to say something else. Dammit.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/02/2008 21:40

Just seen your flamechick thread flame. No useful advice, but big hugs.

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 21:49

Thanks

Frizbe · 12/02/2008 22:46

Hello!

Happy Birthday to Oscar and Ben and indeed other Oscar if I don't make it on tomorrow

Phoenix yay for ds being home, ick for the nappies, but phew for the anti b's working ok He looks so cute on his morning pics, bless, what a pants way to end your birthday, still hopefully sorted now

Flame all good then Sounds like you need one of those hopi ear candles, beautician informed me they're very good for sinuses, as I was asking what they were.

MRM, you've not lost weight cause you're creating muscle, but you know that already right

Chloe, yay for great birthday and lots of complements

Jas for pool experience, hope tomorrow is better.

CSWS Mum's is near the train tracks then?

Hello everyone else hope you're all ok?

Can report facial and back massage were lovely total day yest was lovely actually, which is why I didn't get on here dh said I could have day off work, after dealing with poorly dd1 and bouncy dd2 all weekend whilst he was away (also an excuse for him to play wow inbetween customers without me nagging about him doing real work) So Meridian and I went down to Denby, did some present shopping in their fab gift shop, then over to Belper for lunch and numerous Lattes (bad Frizbe drank my entier calorie content for the day in lattes ) lots of shop browsing and languising in coffee shops, wonderful then I came home for my appt, wonderful (undid it all by going to aerobics, but needed to work lattes off!)
Have done Hula tonight followed by fitness pilates, so gym bunnied out not that you can tell looking at me, still the same old slob I was last summer, need to drop the coffee

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 22:58

Ooh that all sounds goooooooooooooood - even the gym How is the elbow now??

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 22:58

Those ear candles look freaky! Are you back my direction at some point Frizbe?

Frizbe · 12/02/2008 23:05

Down your way last week of July (1st week of summer hols) I think so may catch you at CSWS's if she does a meet beforehand?

erm, dd1's arm is ok I think, whilst I went to gym, dh persuaded her that she was to sleep without her sling tonight, if she does this, the mending fairy will come and leave her £1.00 and help finish fixing her arm , so she's got a pound under her pillow now (lets hope this doesn't encourage injury eh) and her arm is out of sling, will see how she finds moving it tomorrow, the joint was getting rather painful and stiff as you can imagine with no use, but she's been happily jumping about all day at nursery with up down movement on the arm, so hopeing she'll just kick in with it again tomorrow TBA!

mustrunmore · 13/02/2008 08:07

Yuck yuck yuck to ear candles. I wouldnt trust anyone enough to do that to me

Right Flame, this is urgent...... ds1 really really wants the cereal that we had 'when those big girls had a sleepover'. He says they were rainbow shaped, and he had them but you two diidnt 'because that one couldnt have milk'. Help! What did we have that morninig???

Friz, beieve me, I've already accounted for the muscle aspect. But there's no visual diffreence at all, aside from the weight. In fact, the only way I can tell I've even done any exercise is if I need to wash my pe kit Although I do have a tiny bit of lovely ache kicking in today from the Monday aerobics. She did alot of different stuff, which was good. Although a lot of jumpimg about things (literally, rather than just being jumpy like aerobics actually is). That diidnt really go dow n too well; alot of people just looked at her in disbelief

Flamesparrow · 13/02/2008 11:47

I have absolutely no idea - I only came out of my pit after they had eaten... and then I had toast! Wasn't it something nestle because I wanted the dark materials book? Or did I order you to buy nestle next time to get me a book?

2boysmacca · 13/02/2008 12:21

Just back from the gym. Worked my arse off and butt feeling rather stiff already!

mrm, how much weight do you want to lose, realistically?

csws, how's the tiredness?

Friz I was very envious of your day off/pampering.

Flame, feeling any better?

Pg, how's Lew? They recver very quickly fromt he trauma of hospitals don't they?

Phoenix · 13/02/2008 12:37

Has anyone got any tips to get ds' ab's down him. He's on 2 different sorts 4 times a day and he gets in such a state when its time to have them . He was sick with one of them this morning so he probably didn't even get any of it. I've just give him them again and he was gagging loads i feel so cruel to him.

His feet are fine now but he's been up in the night with a 38-39 temp and a cough

DontDreamItBeIt · 13/02/2008 14:35

Happy Birthday to those I've missed

No idea Phoenix. I can't get anything that isn't calpol into ds, and every time I've tried, he's refused even calpol for the next week. How bad does it taste? Would it go in food? Yoghurt maybe?

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 13/02/2008 17:25

Friz - there's a railway line running across the bottom of the their garden!

macca - tiredness has been fine whilst up at mum and dads, as have had big sleep this afternoon and yesterday. Will be harder once home. Maybe flame can look after dd whilst I have an afternoon nap for a few more days .

No more sign of chickenpox developing flame?

Phoenix - dd always refuses all medicine. Unfortunately pinning her down and forcing it in a tiny bit at a time is the only thing that works for us .

Just ordering a Tesco delivery flame, so if there are any special requests then get them in now! I can't remember any particular likes or dislikes from last time .

mustrunmore · 13/02/2008 17:46

Flame, you're rubbish. Ask psycho for me will you?

Macca; I need to lose 2 stone 8 to get to prekids weight, but I'd be fairly accepting of 2 stone 1 to be realistic.

Flamesparrow · 13/02/2008 18:23

I did this morning see!

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/02/2008 18:42

Ahem - you might like to check your link flame .

Flamesparrow · 13/02/2008 18:54

Lol here

Flamesparrow · 13/02/2008 19:12

I feel like crap.

I have 8 nappies to dye, various colours etc.

I just want to curl up in a ball and die die though. At this rate I won't be fit to drive at the weekend, regardless of MOT status!

Frizbe · 13/02/2008 19:38

Oh no {{{{Big Hugs}}} for the feeling crap Flame. Happy tie dying tho, hear its all the rage on the catwalks this year

Ah yes CSWS that'll be close then, did she sleep through it?

MRM, yay for different stuff at aerobics, guess its just gotta be carry on with the exercise and watch what you eat n drink to loose the weight (sob from me, as I'm crap at dieting) have you been doing the interval training Macca suggested?

Phoenix, someone somewhere suggested lobbing it all into a chocolate milkshake, as apparently if you up the dosage of chocolate flavouring it masks the horribleness of the anti b's. Hth's?

Day went totally wrong here, dd2 fell asleep at tots, brought her back to dh in shop who was sinking under mail order (hurrah, although he could have coped would he bother to stop playing so much wow ) had a row with a twunt at a road junction, as he was being an arse (woman in car behind him, backed me up, when he started shouting at me from his window, its a long story involving him sitting in the middle of the road blocking us all) went to post office without my bag, got 1st envelope done, then realised, so had to go all way back to shop, then back to post office again, hence was late picking dd1 and mate up from nursery then got to pool with dd2 and someone had pooed in it [bleurgh] so 10mins in big pool was all we got, as it was too cold in there This avo perked up, though I'm stupid and have done all the ironing (dh's job), as I'm sick of having no clothes, but the girls we're happy watching tv so? Hoping tomorrow is better

Phoenix · 13/02/2008 21:07

for shitty day Friz, hope tomorrow's better.

Thanks for the milkshake suggestion i'll give that a try tomorrow. He's been sick all over himself and my mum today when she tried to give him ab's. I've tried giving him one of them in cranberry juice tonight but he was having none of it.

for feeling crap Flame. Did you get the nappies done?

Hi to everyone

Phoenix · 14/02/2008 08:21

Where is everyone????
