OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 05/02/2008 20:01

for lack of heating Chloe.

for bed and dd wanting bedtime early .

Isn't the Sea Life Centre fab EPPM. Did dd love it?

Well I had my early night (10:30) last night, but then woke at 4:45 and couldn't get back to sleep , so ended up browsing MN til 6, when dd woke, but stayed in bed til 7 listening to her music, chatting and dozing.

Am knackered again tonight though. Nearly didn't bother with gym, but figured I'd feel better for having gone, so did. Then had to do shopping for dd's b'day tea on Friday, so didn't get to sit down and relax at all! Going to watch some crap tv, and hope that dd settles soon.

EachPeachPearMum · 05/02/2008 23:38

for both situations Chloe

Jas- Yay for bed!

Friz- great for accounts done

csws- sea life centre is so amazing! We could have spent all day there- I loved the ray and shark tank, those rays just glide and sseem to smile at you as they whizz past!
Dd was a little nervous in teh tunnel bit at first- Dh was carrying her, and so she was right up, 2 inches from the turtles, but it certainly made an impression on her. 'Turckles! turckles Mummy!'

mustrunmore · 06/02/2008 07:34

Complete sympathy for lack of heating I nearly died when our boiler was knackered, I'm such a wuss.

I cant believe its suvch a wait for an abortion, given how quiclky it needs to be sorted Is that usual?

the the bed. I'd have gone to bed as soon as it was constructed if I was dd!!

Friz, DO NOT wish anyone's symptoms on me! What a nightmare. I do not EVER want to feel pg again!!

Jas, in theory I've been getting a bit more running in, and aerobics twice a week, althouh I only got to one class lsat week. And I was supposed to go last night but went for a lie down at 5.50pm leaving the boys and dh finisheing their tea, told him to wake mne up, which he swears he did, but next thing I knew it was about 8.45pm And dl was here, so I couldnt get on the treadmill. soaked in the bath a bit instead, and sat whinging about life! I havent lost weight though, only the 1 lb previuosly mentioned, and I certainly look no different But, I am glad I'm fittinf more in, as it makes me feel more alive

FlameNFurter · 06/02/2008 09:54

Hurrah for books done Friz It feels sooooooooooooo good

I read you as saying "complete lack of sympathy for no heating" MRM I was thinking "Bitch!"

Forgotten pretty much everything Inspection on Monday so going to be spending the next few days chuckin out and cleaning

DD asked to go to the oceanarium again yesterday "Like I did with Gran before" - that was during my honeymoon - she was TWO (just 2, not nearly 3 2 iyswim). How the hell does she remember that???

Will be back later, hopefully less fuzzy

damewashalot · 06/02/2008 10:54

Hello, sniff, feeling sorry for myself this morning, cough, awake most of last couple of nighhts coughing and have really sore throat

How is everyone today?

mustrunmore · 06/02/2008 14:44

Oceanarium? Would thay have a toy angler fish in the gift shop???

FlameNFurter · 06/02/2008 16:04

I'll go down and have a look

MrCSWS · 06/02/2008 16:09

mrm, is this what you are looking for?

FlameNFurter · 06/02/2008 16:51

Oooh ello MrCSWS!!! Congratulations

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/02/2008 17:33

My goodness that is vile! And in the US, so not a lot of use .

Frizbe · 06/02/2008 18:05

Yuk MRM those fish are horrible, there's a restaurant on international drive in Orlando that has one of those outside, guess ds would love it eh?!

Chloe for your lack of boiler, I know where your coming from......hope it gets fixed very soon.
for your bro and friend as well.....going with what MRM was saying there was summat on the news the other day about the length of time people are having to wait being unacceptable Very hard decision to make though

Flame, another house inspection, doesn't seem so long since last time? ss comes out with lots of random things like your dd, from when he was really small too! dd1 isn't as bad at it.

CSWS sorry you ended up so early....

MRM yay for aerobics and running

Jas, yay for bed must finally feel like your getting somewhere!

Off to cinema in a bit Alien v Predator I think, as Cloverfield will make dh poorly, as wobbly camera thing, and he doesn't want to see I am Legend....our first 'date' since beging of Dec!
Very happy dd's here today, got them both a suitcase in Sainsbo's reduced to 3.99 each bargin, lots of wheeling around has been done this evening. Also dd1 has new shoes, as randomly thought in a spare 5 secs to get her feet checked and drat up a whole size thank lord the wellies I brought her last week, were on the big size (her winter boots luckily have a bit of room too) so she's now got a new pair of clarkes trainers to last her through to summer, with a bloody doll in the sole I couldn't belive it when the woman told us They nearly all have them apparently...... if they dont they have flashing lights, which give dh a migrane, sigh. No doubt shoes will be off quickly to get the item out to play with, sigh....

Chloe55 · 06/02/2008 18:36

Still no boiler - he has just left, been here over 4 hours today and coming back again tomorrow, they fix one fault and nothere surfaces!! Im layed on the sofa in my pjs, a dressing gown and a duvet

I know, the abortion wait is rediculous. I couldn't begin to imagine feeling pregnant for so long knowing I was gonna terminate

Frizbe - sounds like so many things trigger your dhs migraines - that must be so annoying for him. Touch wood I haven't had a migraine now for just over a year but he has my deepest sympathies! Hope the film is good.

mustrunmore · 06/02/2008 19:53

Spooky bird, I'm going to pics tonight too. Sweeny Todd.

Thats is just what I want mrcsws, but very much doubt its worth shipping from the US, plus its $6 and minimum order is $9!

Did 6km tonight, and not quite so much pain from the blister Wanted a longer run. But ds1 had homework to do, which dh cant be trusted with

Dh thinks I have all the symptoms of eihter pregnancy or serious illness Very helpful!!

FlameNFurter · 06/02/2008 20:16

The abortion wait is appalling

I spend most nights in pjs, dressing gown and duvet No heat problems, I just like to snuggle!!

I wanna go see Sweeny Todd Might go next week, if not it will be another fortnight again.

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2008 21:55

Um, mrm, what on earth do you need an angler fish for???????

FlameNFurter · 06/02/2008 21:57

Her DS loves them

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2008 22:40

will he expect a working light?

mustrunmore · 07/02/2008 08:36

He prob will, but I think we can get past that!

Sweeny Todd was FANTASTIC. But then again, I'd love anything if Tim Burton didi it, even a baked bean advert Pleased to see that Mr Depp has improved his cockney accent since From Hell too. Beautifully filmed, amazing costumes, and I want the soundtrack immediately. I havent felt like that at the pics since Moulin Rouge. I do feel a bit sad though, as normally JD films are strictly for me and dl to see together, and he'd love this one. I'd be happy to see it a few more times though
I think you'd like it Flame.

Chloe, I was thinking... if its really a 2 week wait, that wont take it beyond the limit for pill will it? Cant think what dates you mentioned if any. Surely they cant make you wait and then need a far more traumatic method?

Yesterday I bought some of those cars shaped food trays for ds2's birthday tea with my Mum and birth partner. He's going to love them! And lightninig McQueen headbands

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/02/2008 09:35

Yay for ST being good. I saw it at theatre in London pre-dd, but no Mr Depp in that!

My parents will be here in 5 mins. Going to tell them today.

Phoenix · 07/02/2008 09:45

Hello

Happy Birthday to all the little ones i've missed saying it to

We took ds to Chester Zoo yesterday and he loved it. The only thing was he slept nearly the whole way home (2hr ish) so he was up til 9 last night then up at 6am but he went back to sleep in our bed for a bit, thank god cos we were knackered too. We're thinking of taking him to The National Railway Museum on his birthday cos Thomas The Tank Engine is there

Oh and i've just rung the docs and re booked my smear. Its this afternoon so i can't get out of it this time.

Chloe - for the boiler, hope it gets fixed soon. for your brother and friend too.

Jas - yay for new bed. at her asking for bedtime, i'd have been like that too.

Friz - we got ds' feet checked Tuesday, i really didn't want to buy him any but cos he's had these since November thought it'd be best to check, they still fit him fine. She said he had another few weeks in them yet, money saved for a while longer

Hope everyone's ok

mustrunmore · 07/02/2008 09:54

I won a £5 book token at school for my project on Chester Zoo we used to go all the time becaise it as so close to home. I love it there!

EachPeachPearMum · 07/02/2008 12:46

I too was raised going to Chester Zoo each holiday! There was a tapir with my name in the 70s! I was so impressed, as it isn't a very common name....never met another child with my name

mustrunmore · 07/02/2008 16:44

So. I have the tummy ache I've had all along. Plus a feeling like knitting needles jabbing just below my waist.

And ds1 woke up askd for water then threw up eferywhere.

Chloe55 · 07/02/2008 19:04

Euuuww that doesn's sound too pleasant MRM, hope you start feeling better soon.

I'm not sure re the dates and abortion as she doesn't get her scan til Monday, it all seems like an extremely drawn out process for something that should really be done ASAP

Boiler is fixed!!! Woohoo

I have had terrible period pains today - still no period yet , def not pg again as haven't 'done the deed' since the miscarriage but the pains are much worse than normal - they have nearly made me throw up a few times. They did start after I did a 5km run though, not sure if maybe I am overdoing the gym a little and it is affecting my menstrual cycle what with everything that has gone on too. Not that Im obsessive or really really pushing it but I think I have thrown myself in head first to take my mind off other things. Oh I don't know, maybe I'm just rambling
