Capt'n Jack Sparrow ma love!

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 15:47

hehe I could cross train on JD bet most of you could too, although he might object!

Good luck with the pt....

Phoenix · 02/02/2008 16:13

I really can't see the attraction with Johnny Depp

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 16:16

Nor me really, as he's too little and looks far too young. But he does do some superb films!

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 16:31
Shock
mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 18:05

Stop it with your faces. He is a baby face you know, and he's not built like Dog the bounty hunter

FlameNFurter · 02/02/2008 19:53

You had better not have given away the hat!!!!

I don't suppose you're gonna have any more honey any time in the nearish future?

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 20:42

Was it that good? Funnily enough, the friend that gets it me from her village is coming in half term... but on the Friday

FlameNFurter · 02/02/2008 20:58

Your half term is a week before mine

It is looooooooooooovely. Even DH says it is tolerable and he hates honey

damewashalot · 02/02/2008 21:18

Yay, it looks like he's coming home

Still got a poorly boy and my sore throat is back, I don't seem to be able to shake this have had it on and off since long before xmas.

going to watch ER now.

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 21:29

Hang on, when are you coming to me then? She's coming 22nd, I thought you were coming the Tuesday before that, 19th is it? Are you actually coming the folowing week then, if thats your half term? If so, you're stuffed for going out for a drink as dh is on evenings!

FlameNFurter · 02/02/2008 21:45

How come she is on my half terms, but Jas is a week before??? Why can't all schools bloody match up??

I am indeed coming before 22nd

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 21:49

But she lives in Warwickshire, so you cant even equate that to be higher up geographically like Jas... its a million miles away! Panic over re going out

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2008 22:04

When's your half term then mrm ? Mine is 11th-15th, the week before flame comes.

Am trying to watch the Davinci Code (not read book), but finding it hard going, esp when attempting to MN at the same time. Might need to give up and go to bed instead .

FlameNFurter · 02/02/2008 22:08

Film's crap.

I can't really equate it to being higher or lower geographically... my geography is as such that I know where no-where is!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2008 22:14

Given up and deleted film (even dh was struggling and he's read the book!).

DontDreamItBeIt · 02/02/2008 23:02

I thought the book was crap too.

1/2 term varies by county. It is different as Easter is early so some counties are not having the easter holiday over easter Like us.
My London based friend i the week after u, which probably means only one week of the easter hol (or spring holiday) will match up.

I'm taking the dds to PWP tomorrow. They are constantly wanting toget out,o his is he easiest solution.

Hello, a late post from me as been out for dinner tonight for a friends birthday which was lovely. Took advantage of the babysitter and went back to Chards for an hour too before coming back here

DDIBI - Hi Jas I know who I'm talking too now!!!

Flame - Ex DP has DS every Sunday he picks him up at 9am which has lately become 10am and drops him back around 8pm. The other week he had him overnight but only because he was seeing that woman he left me for last year.

So have you all transferred your cots to cotbeds now? DS is still in his cot, he hasnt attempted to climb out so I thought it would be best to keep him in there for as long as possible???? How many of you are potty training too?

Right off to bed now I'm knackered, night night xx

DontDreamItBeIt · 03/02/2008 08:17

DS is still in a cot. No attempt at potty training here.
DD1 gets anew bed (and room) nextweek, so I will try moving him into the botom bunk sometime after that. I'm not even thinking about potty training for maybe another year, unleshe shows very clear signs of waning to before that.

I think Chloe is doing well, Flame is partly potty training because her ds is reacting to reusables so badly. Lots of otherss get the occasional wee on the toilet

I'm cold and tired, but gave up on bed asds has been up since6.30 and keeps jumping on me.

My half term starts 18th csws, but there's an inset day on 15th too.

Loved the DaV book, so diidnt bothr with the film incase it spoilt it for me.

Woman coming to pick up the cot today... an end of an era... no more babies, no more cot in the house

mustrunmore · 03/02/2008 08:38

And, true to my prediction, I didnt run last night even though I alreadt got yhe cot down before dh got home. Instead, i had a bath, did some thank you letters for my bday, did the washing, finished my book.

I think I did get rid of the hat; I cant find it in my drawers

And we've run ot of mini latkes and ds1 erally wants some for lunch. And its waayy too cold to go shopping!

damewashalot · 03/02/2008 08:54

Yup, still in a cot hee but will be getting a bed soonish and not even thought ofpotty training yet although should get a potty out for him to get used to. In less of a rush fr all sorts of things by the 3rd one aren't you jas?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2008 09:44

In bed version of cot bed here Kel, because she fell off top of cot on Christmas day whilst climbing.

Not potty training yet - want to wait for warmer weather, but she did wee on potty once in December (by her choice), and likes sitting on it and telling me she's had a wee when she hasn't .

Got excited for a moment when I thought you were going to PWP tomorrow Jas, and then realised that you'd written it yesterday, so you mean today. I have no plans (after Tumbletots) tomorrow, and need some!

I don't even know what a latke is .

Someone asked what I was planning to do re cots/beds with dd and new baby. We have crib that baby will have in our room initially, and we may move dd to the new loft room with new bed etc once it's done, and let her choose some of the decoration, so that she doesn't see it as being pushed out. Then we can move new baby to her cot bed in her old room once she's too big for crib.

FlameNFurter · 03/02/2008 10:01

Tis all so hard isn't it?

I would say to let her choose some bedding too - B is always happy if she has the right bedding.

I have cot envy - I would kill for DS to be in his cot!

No idea what a latke is either, methinks it is a typo maybe, or a MRMism

I liked DaV book, but the film was dull and I am sure they changed the end.

Off to do the books.

(DD is currently playing with DH - apparently he is a brother called Lulu )

mustrunmore · 03/02/2008 10:19

Lulu making me smile!

Latkes are real you cheeky moos!
