Are you broody too?

You're all insane.

I'm off babysitting in a bit. Hoping they dont wake up so I can read!

Did 7km today, but had to stop because of my huge huge blisters

Only lost 1 lb last week

Did that real-age thing you sent me on facebbok Jas.. I'm 22

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/02/2008 20:53

Evening. Finally a chance to sit down with my laptop.

DD still not sleeping long enough at night, so was vile all morning, as per the rest of the week. Her wrist appears to be fine though .

She does have a big patch of skin that has fallen off her big toe though . Dh bashed her toe under the door this afternoon, and the skin was loose just afterwards, but it looked like it would if the skin was coming off a blister, so am going to have to take her to check that her boots still fit. Am convinced they were poorly fitted (too narrow) when we bought them, so wouldn't surprise me if they turn out to be the problem.

1lb a week is sustainable and means the weight is likely to stay off mrm, so you shouldn't really be aiming for any more than that.

for flight dame. Hate it when dh is delayed by even an hour!

Yay for potty training Chloe. I really should get on and buy those seat things in anticipation of not being able to put it off forever.

I don't do morning sickness remember Chloe .

Go on Friz, you know you want to .

mustrunmore · 01/02/2008 20:58

Nah, i need 2lbs a week. 1lb prob just means i had a diff cardy on.

am on a laptop. Its not easy when you're osed to a big cronky pc with a real mouse and all the keys feel diffrent And In cant seem to get comfy. And i swore i'd olny read my book tonight!

damewashalot · 01/02/2008 21:27

You notice us pg girls are encouraging frizbe and you non pg types are slapping her

EachPeachPearMum · 01/02/2008 22:48

I actually went to the gym today! (erm...2nd time since I was 3 mo pg).
Ran 2km! I will catch you up mrm! Though I hate running, and prefer rowing...

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/02/2008 22:51

I went to the gym today too, but only for a programme review, so didn't do any actual exercise . Abdominal crunches are out, but otherwise fine. In fact she added more in .

Off to bed now. Night all.

KelBelle · 01/02/2008 22:57

I'm back again!! Twice in one week!!

Chloe - well done on potty training, I dont think DS is ready here yet, he has just started this week to tell me when he has pooed so that is a start I suppose. Think I will wait til summer though.

As for food, DS is ADDICTED to milk, he loves it and would live on it if I let him. Have gradually cut it down and he does try his luck as tonight he asked for a "pop" (lolly) but I had just done his pasta but he screamed as I wouldnt let him have a lolly. I sat down with him and he ate it when I fed him so I was surprised how hungry he actually was.

CSWS- DP loves Ben and Ben calles him "Chard" {his name is Richard} once he comes home from work we have about an hour of playtime which is screaming, laughing, and hysterics. Its lovely. Ex DH was never very natural with him so it is nice he get some boy time.

Called solicitor today and have app for Wed to re-start divorce proceedings. Also saw Physiotherapist on Wed about my back, think it is slowly on the mend and apparantly the numbness in my foot will be the last to come back but it isnt as painful as it was a few weeks ago.

I'm broody too

Dontdreamitbeit - were you someone else originally or are you new since I went quiet on here???

Off for a meal with some mates and DP tomorrow for a friends birthday, it is a new italian restaurant that has opened up recently and is supposed to be nice. I'm looking forward to it. What's everyone else up to?

DontDreamItBeIt · 02/02/2008 08:57

Off to farmres market soon

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 09:12

Phoenix · 02/02/2008 09:15

We've got snow

Morning

FlameNFurter · 02/02/2008 09:52

Woudl that be "ages" MRM?

We have hard frost

Hiya Kel - i'm soooooooooo glad that things are good with DS and Chard. How much does he see of his dad now (DS obviously, although it would be nice if Chard's daddy saw Chard often too )

I am soooooooooooooo broody.

I know that it isn't sensible for me to have a baby in the next twelve months, but I keep getting all teary about it.

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 10:09

There's a scene in my head of me passing my hat that JD geave em , to dh, to go in a charity bag or somesuch. But noe I cant emember if its hapenend or if I'm making it up. I'm going to have to check if I've still got it. In the bit in my head I can see myself thinknig it wasnt a good idea as I was doing it. Er, am I going a bit odd?

Fantastic freecycling today. Took up 2 carrier bags of stuff, and came back with:

6 party poppers for ds2's birthday
2 garden ornamants for Mum (party bag)
wind up bath fish for ds2(obsessed since seeing Nemo)
face scrub for dh (party bag)
full set of apostle spoons for ds1 (will only eat with those at home, and we only have one, so if its in the sink we're in trouble!)
2 books for me
coronation cup and side plate (Mum xmas)
red 3/4 trousers for ds2
cushion cover to replace the one thats getting delapidated
black scarf for me

Plus got some jam from the nuns, and a pressie for Mum for mothers day (flannel shaped/folded like a handbag, with a soap inside!)

pc is taking longer and longer to turn on So if I go AWOL, you'll all know why Worst bit is, we had an offer of a laptop recently, but iidnt need it then

csws, will you be buying another cot for the new one, or will dd be put into a 'real' bed then, and that one converted back? Dont ask why such things are bothreing me!

No tummy ache today. touchwood.

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 13:40

MRM hurrah the sun is shining, you have a hat off jd? and lots of great free cycling and no tummy ache

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 14:09

Well, I did have! Might still have! tis most odd that I dont know if all that was real or in my head

how can it be soooo cold when its soooo sunny??!!

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 14:14

ya looney!

well I'm at work on my own, surfing on here when I have a quiet moment. Dh is at home with manflu, ok it might be a bit worse than manflu, but boy do I know about it. SS has taken himsef to bed too feeling poorly.....hoping he doesn't have the dnv bug....and is just feeling sick......dd2 is full of snot too, so that's just me and dd1 feeling ok at the mo

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 14:20

just found someone via feeecycle that wants ds2's old cot too, so hurray for room in the loft!

I just know its going to be one of tyhose evenigs where I dont get round to a run, after sorting the cot and the boys and lots of other crap If I'm on here, pls try and force me into it!

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 14:24

MRM its the weekend have a rest day babe, get a bottle of wine and chill out run again tomorrow if it makes you feel bad, or better still leave it till monday

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 14:30

Nah, tis aerobics on Muonday night.
I'm not due a rest day yet anyway! Weekends mean nothing to me! Dh should be home from work by 6.30ish tonight, but I just know it'll take forevr to get the cot bits all together for the freecycle woman to pick up. And dh eants to llok at the pc to try and fix it Well, I did 7km yesterday and 10km the day before, so its not the end of the world, but I need to do something.

Cant wait till my Dad brings the cross trainer down for me! apart from the slightly-different-exercise angle, therer's the big advantage that I can use it while dh is on eveongs, but still here if the kids wake up (cant hear when I'm pounding on the treadmill) And I can watch a film while I'm on it, as it'll be on a light-exercise day

Frizbe · 02/02/2008 15:38

cross training a light exercise, there's the proof you're mad

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2008 15:40

I feel lost by the whole thread! Who is JD and where on earth are you going to put a cross trainer?!

mustrunmore · 02/02/2008 15:46

hurray! finally succeeeded in confusing csws!!

johhny Depp.

In the front room (trainer, not Johnny). Either where toy table currently is (opposite pc), or put the bookcase back there and put xtrainer at bottom of treadmill. I like the idea of keepinh it all on one side! Then putting brbed wire to keep rthe boys off it all

ds2 is refusing to wear a nappy. We might have to abandon all trips and stay in potty training all half term if he keeps this up
