FlameNFurter · 29/01/2008 21:37

Will catch up in the morning, thought that Flameboy's plan to do something odd for today might amuse you though

here

damewashalot · 29/01/2008 22:08

Flame, just read your blog, didn't know you were having probs getting ds to bed or what you have tried but I have a couple of thoughts that I can share in the morning if you like?

Right now I'm off too bed rather than sitting here crying because I'm pathetic and lonely I'm not used to being on my own, we can't afford to spend ages on the phone so dh spoke to the boys earlier and we should be chatting on msn now but has just texted to say he can't log on to it (he's in the states btw) But as we spend most days when he is at work msning on and off not seeing him at all and having children who aren't used to him being away and being pg is all a bit much right now.

Sorry, being pathetic, shall go, night.

FlameNFurter · 29/01/2008 22:12

Oh Dame I get all mopey away from DH for more than about 24 hours, so the thought of abroad and pregnant sounds horrible!

Open to all sleep suggestions

damewashalot · 29/01/2008 22:22

I'm stil here, but am on desktop in bedroom and am going to shut it down now.

Wanted to discuss with him if I should go to the funeral of the mum of one of the lads from ds2's class on thurs, feel I should but not sure I'm up to it emotionally.

Really going can't see to type, eyes are leaking again, feel guilty about being so sad about being on my own for a week when that poor man has lost his wife and is on his own with a 6 year old

DontDreamItBeIt · 29/01/2008 22:28

Oh, Dame It isn't your fault though. (But still very )If it is going to upset you more, then I say don't go.
You are allowed to feel sad and weepy. It seems to go with the territory when pregnant any way.
I hope you can sleep.

Flame - I've read all your blog,a dn my only response so far is FLY stands for Finally Love Yourself (I think. If it doesn't then I've obviously made it up in one of my madder moments)

I have no sleep suggestions, sorry. I know that I need to keep ds awake and active all day to get him to sleep at night. No sure what I will do whenhe is out of the co.
When dd1 gets her bed, dd2 gets the top bunk, and the bottom one will be free for ds. He likes lying on it, but I'm not sure he would sleep on it yet.

Csws Do you want to /can you meet up on the Friday in 1/2 term??

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 29/01/2008 22:40

Sorry Jas - meant to reply to that before. Friday is the one day that I def can't do, as we have a birthday celebration for one of dd's friends.

Hugs dame. Agree that you shouldn't go, as you're not up to it. Send a card or some flowers with a nice note in it instead.

Good to see you morgan .

Frizbe · 29/01/2008 23:04

Flame have read blog and linked you off mine so I don't loose you Hoping someone can find you a sleep solution, I'm having a think about that one.

Kel {{{{Hugs}}} You've had a sod of a year, I can't believe you've got to start the whole divorce thing again for you. Stupid Judge.

MRM yay! finally!

Hi Morgan

CSWS ah the mansion extends lol at the dr business, nice to surprise them eh

Jas how's the house going?

Chloe {{{Hugs}}} days get you like that sometimes, fingers x'd your period hits soon, then onwards and upwards, hope ds was lots better for you later, I assume he did sleep eventually?

Dame {{{Hugs}}} don't go to the funeral, could you send the boy and his dad something nice instead? thinking small food hamper/treat type thing? Sorry the kids are playing up with dh being away, just think by the end of the week they'll be used to it and then shocked when he re appears

Hula Aerobied out here

Frizbe · 29/01/2008 23:04

Aerobiced even!

Frizbe · 29/01/2008 23:05

nah even that doesn't look right???

JuA Happy Birthday to your girls for tomorrow

Frizbe · 29/01/2008 23:28

btw anyone got any guesses as to why I suddenly have 4 massive zits??? not due on? sulks.

mustrunmore · 30/01/2008 08:34

Because the aerobics is exorcising all your nasties out

God, I feel shit today.

FlameNFurter · 30/01/2008 10:30

Right, doing scrolling and posting as I go to catch up!

Not much difference between your gap and DD and DS CSWS

Yay for being with new man for 5 months Kel

I'm starting to wonder if it is just a weirdy bug going round MRM No idea what it is, still feel odd. Judging by the way I have been growling at DH and screaming at kids, I am NOT pregnant

Helloooooooooooooo Morgan!

Chloe I have no advice, just hugs.

@ aerobics. I jump left and they skip right... tis not fun!

Happy birthday to JuA twins!

I am pondering whether to just wean DS off his bedtime bottle - no bottle at all might solve all the problems

He had 2 days back in cloth because we ran out of disposables & money, and he is sore again

Chloe55 · 30/01/2008 16:28

I still feel all bloated and get a few tummy cramps, particularly after eating, so now I'm wondering whether all these odd symptoms aren't related to what ahppened a couple of weeks ago but are a bug too Flame - as you may have guessed I have been partcularly horrid to ds and dh too! Had to apologise today for my behaviour

Dame - agree with others, going will probably tire you out no end as you already sound emotionally exhausted. Nobody will mind if you don't go.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/01/2008 19:38

Quiet on here today. Anyone around tonight? Was supposed to have been having a massage, but masseur is poorly.

Dd just having a bath and then hopefully a feed will knock her out. Much to her annoyance I've only let her have her morning feed and post lunch feed today (though that one involved a sleep on my lap again, so she got to feed to sleep, suck a bit during her sleep, and have another go when she woke!), and am making her wait until after her bath for her third. It was all getting out of control again, so I am having to be tough and put up with a lot of whinging.

Happy birthday to the twins .

Oh, ideas please. Have invited my post-natal group back for birthday tea next Friday (after we've been to soft play). What food should I do?

mustrunmore · 30/01/2008 19:44

I'm kind of her efor a few minutes, while my Dad puts ds1 to bed uopn his insistence . It will consist of him pissing about, and then me having to go up there anyway.

Only magaged a15min 'run' today

Phoenix · 30/01/2008 20:03

I'm here

I've read everything but my brain isn't working enough tonight to comment on everything

Happy Birthday to the twins

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/01/2008 20:17

Did we decide that your birthday is tomorrow mrm?

damewashalot · 30/01/2008 20:35

Kind of here waiting for ds1 to get back from cubs.

Very tired today even though went to bed this afternoon.

Have read can't remember

Have decided not to go tomorrow as am spending far too much time on verge of tears as it is.

EachPeachPearMum · 30/01/2008 20:38

No- isn't it today?
Happy Birthday mrm!

Sorry- my eyes have been bad...are worse at home than at work not sure why when I spend all day at work in front of the computer. Plus, too grumpy at the moment to come on this happy thread - don't want to dampen the mood

Anyway, we were all set to visit the childrens farm for dd's birthday, but heavy snow is forecast.... so we may finally go to the Sealife centre!

crappy goings on at work- we are on all out strike on tuesday, great ...story here.... discussions failed needless to say. Background

EachPeachPearMum · 30/01/2008 20:41

If it makes you feel better Dame...I can't remember either, and I don't have your excuse

DontDreamItBeIt · 30/01/2008 20:45

I'm not here. I'm painting

Isn't it today if her dad is here? Happy birhday, mrm, whenever it is

Striking eppm.I hope things are settled quickly.

csws I will be going to pwp duing 1/2 term on either Wednesday or Thursday with rl friends but we won't decide until last minute as we wll pick the niceest weather day.

Well done on being firm with dd(1) Are you finding feeding and being pg very tiring?

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 30/01/2008 21:07

Oh very good multi-tasking being able to paint and MN at the same time .
If I don't have anything on those days Jas then I'll let you know, and you can tell me once you decide, then I can come or not depending on my mood!

Don't think the feeding with being pg is making much diff to tiredness, except in the 'sick and tired' sense! Her teeth and rough manner is more the annoying thing at the moment.

at snow forecast. She'll love the SeaLife centre though. I'd advise not taking a buggy unless she really needs it though, as it's not so easy to get around with one.

Happy Birthday (and sorry) if it is today mrm.

Now, can somebody answer my birthday tea question please!

Frizbe · 30/01/2008 21:27

Happy Birthday MRM hope its been a good day.

Enjoying the painting then Jas?

EPPM for the strike, hope it gets sorted soon. Sealife could be a good bet, provided the snow doesn't knack the transport in brum like it can sometimes do!

CSWS for birthday tea, I'd go butties/nibbles kind of thing, don't make life too hard for yourself by cooking loads

Flame/Chloe {{{hugs}}} for the hormones, they're not good at the best of times eh.

Frizbe · 30/01/2008 21:28

is that ok I answered!! you could do tortilla chips and dips for the grown ups? with lots of melted cheese, yummy

damewashalot · 30/01/2008 21:38

So CSWS are my boys names so terrible that you can't think of a single one that will go with them?

Party food, I'd do simple bit s they can pick at but I supppose that's trickier if you need to keep it all dairy free.......
Bowls of things like cherry tomatoes, grapes, bits of cucumber etc I'd do cubed cheese but guess you can't do that, bread sticks? sausages are always a winner with little ones, have to be organic around here, organic cocktail size ones are tricky to find, I get sainsburys chipolatas and cook then chop smaller. Would include crisps, nice ones though not horrible kids crisps, but am on 3rd child here so realise 1st ones may not get crisps

Has taken so long to type that inbetween other stuff you may have lots of better ideas from others by now
