Have spent a good ten minutes admiring all these cute babies (it's making me broody which is very foolish!)
sarahlou - I took my DD to my grandmother's funeral in Feb last year, she was one and a half at the time. Everyone said it felt so right to have her there, and my grandad was really pleased I took her. She gave me a lot of comfort too.
choc - congrats on the house move!
fiona - hope work went well today.
loopy - glad you had a lovely time at the baptism. I am so looking forward to William's next Sunday. My Dad is a chaplain for an old people's charity so he doesn't get to do many baptisms these days.
rg - love the braids, will try to find one of DH to scan in from when he had braids at uni.
Re prams, if I just have William I use the pram which is rear-facing, he's getting a bit big so I will put the seat on soon which is also rear facing. However, if I have both of the children I need to use the double buggy and that's forward facing. I don't like that so much but it was our only option when choosing a double buggy when working out what would fit in the car etc. DD looks after William though.
I've managed to get some work done in both the front and back garden this weekend. The front was looking dreadful (and it's tiny so there's no excuse really) so I planted some bedding plants and got rid of lots of debris. DH bought me my dream outfit for William's christening and we had a friend from uni come to visit before she heads off for a new life on the Greek island of Paxos. William is sleeping brilliantly some nights and not on others, there's no discernable pattern either which is annoying, but I suppose the nights are getting better slowly.
DH and I have been planning our joint birthday party at the end of next month. We're both going to be 30, so are having a 60th! Another event to look forward to!
