Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Callie, it wasn't a waste of time, you need to do research, the next time you go shopping you will probably get everything really quickly!

Foxy I laughed out loud reading your posts!

Diva I'm delighted to hear that you are no longer a zombie and your dp is a superstar!

Divastrop · 11/01/2008 21:31

callie-sorry to say this but its the beginning of the slippery slope towards finding shopping for soft furnishings a pleasure and clothes shopping more of a chore than food shopping!
thats what happened to me,anyway.i remember groaning with boredom as a teenager being dragged round curtain shops when i wanted to look at clothes.now i can finally understand my mothers joy at finding half price curtains and matching scatter cushions

i do quite enjoy clothes shopping with dd1 though

kitty-best to get it checked out.my dh knew all about pelvic floors before we met.apparently men should also do such excersises as they promote stronger erections and help to prevent future erectile dysfunction

i wouldnt want a fanny tuck, knowing my luck i would end up with no feeling down there whatsoever.

kiwibella · 11/01/2008 21:36

hilarious... Kitty, I dont spose you expected your question to create such humour!! At least it helps to see the brighter side of things. Look forward to hearing what the dr says.

I'm trying to be diligent and remember the exercises now!

Diva... I'm really pleased that things are improving for you . Your dh is a gem.

Piffle... glad that today is better - helped by a glass or three of vino .

Hi geekymum - waves - welcome! My dd is ten months too... snotty nose, cutting lots of teeth, feeding constantly, and not sleeping well. But, she is a joy.

Callie... sorry that your shopping trip wasn't great. I hate it when you want to shop but can't find anything. Jordi sounds like he had a great settling in day.

Have a great weekend everyone x x

kiwibella · 11/01/2008 21:38

I remember enjoying clothes shopping with / for MissE, Diva. I don't anymore... suddenly I feel as old as my parents always seemed to me.

cazboldy · 11/01/2008 21:41

hi all - not been on here for ages.....Kitty were all your babies big? I have to say (and I have asked dh) I can't notice loads of difference "down there" tbh. I am quite good about doing my pelvic floor exercises and I do horse riding which I reckon helps....my bf had 4 babies last one 10lbs60z and had a prolapse....she also had really bad internal and external tears and she is on the waiting list to be made as good as new! She is getting sterilised at the same time though, as you can't have any more babies afterwards......she is also thinking about getting a tummy tuck at the same time!

fitfox · 11/01/2008 21:52

Rosy

Caz - nice to see you - am of your friend and her soon-to-be-new bod. She'll be like one of those women on "10 years younger"

I am thinking of getting a couple of my amalgam fillings replaced with white ones, and a couple of front teeth tidied. Not quite in the same league as a brand new Puss, but it would be nice to do, so I will look like this:

kiwibella · 11/01/2008 22:00

Hi Caz!! How are you and your lo doing??

More clips on youtube here... yesterday Kate surprised us by standing on her own.

cazboldy · 11/01/2008 22:01

we are all fine thanks, hope you are all ok too

I said that too fitfox - but she says she'll still feel old lol!

spicemonster · 11/01/2008 22:06

Hello all and welcome geekymummy

Piffle - blimey. You've been on a right old emotional rollercoaster, you poor thing. Sending you a big hug to go with that glass of wine.

Callie - shopping is grim isn't it? I've just bought some stuff online which probably won't fit but at least there isn't the horror of the changing room experience.

kitty - do your pelvic floor exercises! My mum was told recently that she had a prolapsed uterus and would have to have a hysterectomy but did loads and loads of pelvic floor exercises and it went back up again!

Altogether now, squeeeeeeeze

spicemonster · 11/01/2008 22:08

sorry - it's sazzy here. Got bored with the old name but I might change it back again as I don't know who I am

Rosylily · 11/01/2008 22:12

Kiwi-lovely clips! Hasan did that today too!

Spicemonster love the name!

Reverssy-you get a job???????

kiwibella · 11/01/2008 22:16

thanks Rosy... Spice - fab name change. I wondered who it was and presumed it was someone who had drifted away since babies were born .

spicemonster · 11/01/2008 22:19

Thank you! Shall I keep it then? The other one was vv dull but I feel a bit like I have a split personality and wondering who this other person is posting on my computer!

God I must go to bed. Neighbours upstairs are having a burns night party tomorrow night which means I will be kept awake until the wee small hours

Night

fitfox · 11/01/2008 23:14

Monti did that too today - stood for a few seconds unsupported

sazzy/spicey - love both names

ReverseThePolarity · 12/01/2008 06:48

Spice, I felt like that for a while, but now I love my new name!

Hello and welcome Geekymummy, I've seen you around before actually. What kind of geek are you? I am a role playing doctor who adoring type of geek.

Oh not online RPGs though.

Feel tired and headache-y this morning, not sure why. I've had my longest day away from Bertie yesterday while I hulked myself around Liverpool agencies... and got a job, by the looks of it, temping at my local hospital doing admin. I start on Wednesday all being well.

Bugger Bertie is kicking off and I wanted to write such a long post!! Will come back later.

Rosylily · 12/01/2008 07:27

Yeah Spicemonster, Sazzybee is not a dull name at all, I really like that name too! Now my name is dull and I'm starting to get itchy name now....

Reverssy- brilliant news that you got a job for now, well done!

ReverseThePolarity · 12/01/2008 07:44

Foxy pmsl @ "brand new puss".

Kitty I'm sorry to hear of your pelvic floor worries. Do let us know how you get on with your vibrator exerciser. Your dp sounds a bit like my dh in that regard, squeamish about anything "down there" (and probably would say "down there" iyswim). Does sound like he's being a bit of a git though.

Bethoo, good on you for telling him that sex doesn't mean you're back together. Although do you think he will keep hanging around while he's getting laid?

Callie sorry you had a crappy day shopping.

Kiwibella I'll have a little look at your clips of Kate in a mo.

Everyone else good morning. God I'm knackered. Our mates came round to play D&D last night, first time since I was pg, and now Bertie sleeps better in the evenings we thought it would be ideal. Of course Bertie chose last night to wake at nine and refuse to go back to sleep so we shared him around while we played! He seemed to enjoy it but it disturbed his sleep patterns something rotten and was up at half five this morning thinking it was the start of the day.... I have a rotten headache... ah well.

Piffle, I am so sorry, you must feel shell shocked. Huge {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} to you and yours.

ReverseThePolarity · 12/01/2008 07:46

Aw kiwibella she is a little gem.

Callieco · 12/01/2008 09:59

Diva - I've always hated clothes shopping sazzz - oh my god, that is freaky, that last 'sazzz' was typed by ds, maybe it's a sign Spicey!!! Well, not hated, just don't have much patience for it generally.

Callieco · 12/01/2008 10:00

Well done on the job, Polar, when do you start? How much will you be doing?

fitfox · 12/01/2008 16:58

Hiya

Quuiet on here today...

Polar - congrats about the job!!

kiwibella · 12/01/2008 18:39

Yay for finding a job Polar. Hope that it's something that you are going to enjoy.

Spicy... how did you get on with your chat with your boss??

It was such a beautiful, mild day today... we walked around St James' Park this afternoon while hubs clicked away on his camera. It is his big girl's last day before the looong journey home to her family and warmth tomorrow.

Leoloopydoo · 12/01/2008 20:54

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around for such a long, long, time (hope you remember me, my name has changed a bit, but I'm always Leo..something)!

Things have been busy here....!

I 'm back at work now so may find a little more time ot drop in again. I'm kind of curious what all your little ones are up to now.

I also here because I remember that Callie's Jordi was born sometime in January - wanted to say happy birthday to the little man, but can't remember the date! Hope all is well Callie!

Anyone esle still breastfeeding?

Hope everyone else + babies are doing well!

fitfox · 12/01/2008 21:29

Hi Leo

lovely to hear from you. How are your boys?

I'm still BFing, are you? Monti's feeding every 2 hrs during the night

Rosylily · 12/01/2008 21:43

Hi Leo! I'm still breast feeding loads and still had no af yet!
Today Hasan ate loads though and even took some food off a spoon for me
Are you getting good sleeps now?
