ReverseThePolarity · 10/01/2008 16:37

OMG will catch up properly later but Piffle... CONGRATULATIONS are in order, I suppose... that's fantastic news (is it? isn't it?) you must be running the whole gamut of emotions at the moment.... wow, how do you feel? Have you told your dp yet? What does he think? Are you excited or are you scared?

evenhope · 10/01/2008 18:11

oohhhh Piff! Congrats?

Piffle · 10/01/2008 19:24

TheBlonde · 10/01/2008 19:24

so sorry to hear that Piffle

kittywise · 10/01/2008 19:35

Sorry Piffle

FourCalliecoingBirds · 10/01/2008 19:55

CONGRATULATIONS Piff!!!!! I know you are in mixed moods about it, but as a TTCer, I can't help but by delighted about anybody getting pregnant (sorry if that's really insensitive). I think you are obviously such a fab mum that you are meant to keep on going a bit longer! Big hugs to you all round, and of course if you decide not to carry on, I support that too!

Just had to dash upstairs as Jordi did massive hacking cough which sounded like his lungs were coming out. He's had this cough for ages, last night he was coughing in the middle of the night for ages so I went in to try and give him some warm water to help it. Of course he is not keen on water at the best of times, and was distinctly unimpressed to get it in a bottle. He was then awake for a further hour and a half while I tried singing, cuddling etc back to sleep, bringing in with me. Just as I gave in and put him back down again to go downstairs to make him milk, I stopped in the bathroom and heard it was all silent....

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Morocco, sorry Emily has been ill, hope she gets over it ok.

Bethoo, stay strong!!! Good on you for doing it, must have been hard but you, and Hayden, deserve more - at the moment he's not the sort of role model you want for your little boy, is he?

Diva - I bought DP that phone for Christmas! He was previously a mobile-phone hater, despite having a very basic one, but has been converted now. I got it for the camera so we can take better phone pics of DS on the hoof. It is a very aesthetic piece of equipment, I think.

Foxy, good luck with the lodger this time.

Kiwi, loved that clip.

FourCalliecoingBirds · 10/01/2008 19:56

Oh f*k, sorry Piffle, that was cross-posts.

Rosylily · 10/01/2008 20:09

Piffle you really are on a rollercoaster! What is happening??? what kind of bleeding is it? And your weight gain must have been early pregnancy induced. Aw, I'm thinking about you.

fitfox · 10/01/2008 21:25

Piff [big cyber hugs]

R U OK?

kiwibella · 10/01/2008 21:38

wow Piffle ... sending warm hugs your way. What a confusing time for you!!

Callie... I didn't realise that you were ttc. Kate also has a nasty hacking cough. Her breathing is really heavy too. It seems to be one illness after the other atm.

Fox... have you made a decision about your lodger(s)?

ReverseThePolarity · 10/01/2008 21:54

Oh Piffle love I'm so sorry is it definitely that sort of bleeding?

muppetisacat · 10/01/2008 21:57

piff ... could be dodgy or could be implantation type bleeding? Hugs to you lovely

Divastrop · 10/01/2008 22:01

piff-((((((hugs))))))i have my fingers crossed for you.

at all these coughing babies.

callie-have you got an inhaler for him?my ds2 had one for a while for a night time cough.

i was so happy for him to go to school today!
bella-ds2 is in reception.ds1 is my eldest and he is 10 on monday

i have just had to rake out some bras from when Elsie was about 2 months old(when my norks had gone down a bit due to af returning but were still large)as i seem to have gained booby weight.i've put on 9lb altogether in just over 3 weeks, but im sure the change in tablets must have messed with my hormones as i normally put weight on in my bum first and boobs last when its normal eaten too much weight gain.

af finished only a week ago,and there's been no action since(apart from catching a matinee at the saveloy today),plus i have the coil so that rules out the obvious.am stillthough.

Piffle · 10/01/2008 22:02

thanks lovelies for your kind words. Am doing ok. Pretty sure tis all over though. Sadly have had enough of these experiences before. But I'm ok truly. Bit sad but ok.

morocco · 10/01/2008 22:10

piffle, what a shame

kiwibella · 10/01/2008 22:34

Diva @ your afternoon delight. Lucky dh .

kittywise · 10/01/2008 22:39

Sorry, once again piff

Right ladies please tell me how you are feeling ahem "below"

I have had a horrid cough for weeks now and coupled with my kettlebell weights I feel a real low 'congested feeling in my nethers.

I hope to god that nothing is falling out.

Alright I've had 6 kids and the old pelvic floor is bound to be a bit stressed AND I haven't done ANY exercises .

Can I get this sorted by squeezing?

I've just bought one of those electric impulse gadgets you stick up your fanjo which is supposed to do 5 million squeezes a minute or something.

Oh I want to have a fanjo like what I did before I had kids.
PLease don't tell me you could all crack walnuts with yours ?
Right going to bed.

Rosylily · 10/01/2008 22:54

Diva

Kitty my nethers are okay, no problems that I am aware of, that electric pulses thing sounds bonkers...let us know if it's any fun

kittywise · 11/01/2008 07:19

Rosy, I don't wet myself or anything like that. .
It's probably nothing, but I was reading a thread about vaginal prolapse the other day and now I'm terrified!!!

Rosylily · 11/01/2008 08:15

Kitty maybe you need to visit someone who can push everything back up again on a weekly basis

Yoga! Yoga must be good...I still haven't got round to doing my excercises. I'm always too wrecked at the end of the day and all I can do is sit about stuffing my face with cheese
when I wake up in the morning I feel as if I have been hit by a bus and I have to peel myself out of bed and get back to work! (slaving away on mn with my cup of tea)
My back, legs and neck are all stiff and sore and I'm getting pains in my armpits alot which I presume is my glands though my boobs are sore probably because Hasan drank loads of smoothie yesterday....sigh
