DippyChristmas · 01/12/2007 14:32

Erm. About two years. Have had a grand total of about four periods since having DD1 in Feb 2004 - I had no periods inbetween DD's 1 & 2 and about 4 inbetween next 2 - Haven't had any since having P so far, but remember ladies ......

BREAST FEEDING IS NOT A FORM OF CONTRACEPTION!!!!!

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 01/12/2007 14:49

I remember saying that to my mum and her replying 'it isn't?'......obviously there could easily have been a lot more of us

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 01/12/2007 14:54

Lucky you Dippy re the periods - although I'm still waiting since having B - nine months is about how long it took to come back on previous occasions - so I think my times up any minute now....

leakythesnowman · 01/12/2007 16:07

Sorry you didn't get the result you were after CD.

Apologies to Eddas too for almost copying your Christmas name.

Off in a bath while G shows gran his repertoire of squeaks, squeals and burbles.

Pesha · 01/12/2007 17:10

Sorry bout the test dippy, although - not wanting to give false hope or anything - isn't it not recommended to drink too much water as it can then dilute wee giving a false negative?? Or is that for something else? I'm not up on all this ttc lark, I'm presuming BFN stands for bloody f@*ing negative? Or blooming fantastic negative depending on your circumstances!

WO - I had a fag thursday night I am so so so tempted to start again, my resolve is weakening by the day. Not helped by dp (normally very anti smoking) saying perhaps i should start again as I seemed much happier and less stressed when I smoked I think thats more about the pnd than anything else although smoking would help with a few things but I think the negatives of smoking out way that. They do. They do they do they do!!

Loving the xmas names, in particular (without wanting to play favourites) liking minxpie and sexmas Now thats my kind of festivities!!

DippyChristmas · 01/12/2007 17:11

In a bath, Leaky!?

We've bought a Christmas tree I'm off for a lie-down as I am not feeling so good and we have a friend coming to stay overnight.....

DippyChristmas · 01/12/2007 17:12

Nah, pretty sure it was right. BFN = Big Fat Negative

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 01/12/2007 17:44

Ah Dippy - must try harder You are making me broody!

I need to come up with an amazing school social night for monday - come and help me - have started a thread in chat - as new chair would love it to be one of those nights people talk about for months and others regret missing ....

cazboldy · 01/12/2007 18:18

Never mind Dippy
enjoy the one's you have.......and have lots of sex!

DippyChristmas · 01/12/2007 19:16

A school scoial for Monday!!!? Gosh - all I can think of is going out for a nice meal, but that might be a little boring - How about a Murder Mystery Evening!!!? Problem is, you need something where you don't need to tell people to do things in advance ......

liath · 01/12/2007 20:01

Aw Dippy - although that must rate as the most exciting pee ever!!!

WO - IKWYM, I always feel perked up by Christmas lights etc. I wish they stayed up through Jan & Feb. I'm seriously thinking of getting a light box this year as I get really low after Christmas.

Dh is at his Xmas night out. Dd has had diarrhoea - had to put her in the bath and hose her down. She hasn't started to vomit...yet.....so I've had a glass of wine to fortify myself in case I have to spend the rest of the night cleaning up puke....again.

I'm not really feeling terribly broody at the moment - can't think why .

Sexmasonlegs · 01/12/2007 20:21

Evening all.

Hope you are all fine and dandy.

Liath, you poor mummy. Hope dd is ok and you have a quiet night.

Leaky, hope you enjoyed your bath!

Blimey Octo, hope you get some feedback on the Chat thread re the social night. I am stumped.

Pesha · 01/12/2007 20:43

D had lunch late today at just before 3pm (due to sleeping for ages on my lap and then my mum being here) and at half 7 it had come out the other end looking almost the same as it went in. 8o'clock more came out stinking to high heaven. Now thats not right is it?! But its not like diarrhoea cos its almost completely undigested. So whats that all about then ladies?

He has had bit of a dodgy tummy anyway for last couple days and was awake from just after 4 till half 6 this morning with tummy ache before doing poo and immediately falling asleep. But going straight through is unusual I think.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 01/12/2007 20:57

Pesha - I don't know what that means - but I feel I may have a little too much info now!

Washing machine man came, but machine v badly broken - can be fixed and so good we have a parts guarantee - parts come to more than £300!!! But won't be here till end of week at earliest

Off to the laundrette again I think
