gill - ta for the 'don't laugh' tip - it worked!!! and well done on the weight loss

tasha - ramble on as much as you want on here, if you just want us to listen (virtually) that's fine, or want us to help then that's fine too. you can always get posts removed as well.

james - are you going to buy a wee bottle of bubbly with your 1st pay cheque??

dd2 is a bit of a limpet today, and she won't sleep in her bed only in mums arms - off to take her out in the buggy to see if she'll sleep a bit longer - though it's freezing fog here so don't think we'll go too far!

brr freezing here today -7 my car said @ 8.30 on the school& nursery run.

ds2 & I had a lovely time @ baby massage, then collected dd & braved Tescos.

I've got my sign language class tonihgt so I hope its not too freezing getting there and back. I love it - 2 hours of virtual silence - bliss even if it's hard!

Gill - we had a homebirth this time too - wanted one with dd but the service had been suspended - best thing I ever did - climbing into my own bed after was lovely.
Hoorah for the smaller jeans too.

I'd best go think about tea. ttfn

hi everyone! thanks for the birthday wishes! had a nightmare journey up here yesterday, took five and a half hours because A1 was closed. luckily dd only had one screaming fit in the car and otherwise kept dropping off to sleep so that was a blessing! she's been pretty good at sleeping here too so feeling more relaxed now! went out for dinner with dh last night which was nice. we didn't bicker once and didn't talk about dd too much either!

anyone got any ideas about why dd may be waking up earlier these days? normally sleeps to 7.30 or 8 but it's more like 6.30 now. could be just the daylight, all our rooms are light because i hate thick curtains so i may just have myself to blame. i'm worried i'm not giving her enough food?

can't remember who was talking about sleeping bags but i swear by them. dd is in the big size ones now and they're great. she's also in 9-12 month clothes james, don't panic!! also for teething pain i've found her wearing an amber necklace has really helped. put teething necklace into ebay and you'll find info on it.

still at inlaws so should go and be sociable. hope you're ok tasha. i'll post properly when we're home and dh is out somewhere!

take care everyone xxx

Leifmun

I swap Lexie if you like she has started waking up singing at 5am every morning for a week, she used to wake 6.30am can't blame daylight as she has a blackout blind in her room.

I need to her a bigger sleeping bag as she will not keep her blankets on.

Lexie has hardley any sleep or milk/food today, she has been a right grump, She finally drank 6oz of milk at 5pm and was in bed at 5.30pm and Lizzie was in bed by 6.30pm as she had had her pre school booster this afternoon and has been off all afternoon.

Today has been a sh*tty and sicky day. I just love being mum .
