a bum wiping certificate! You should frame it!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 30/11/2007 12:51

yay for bum wiping!

DD had her first go on the swings at the park this morning. Seemed to like it

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 12:54

Such a proud mummy moment

Jammy that's really sweet - will she tackle the slide next?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 30/11/2007 12:56

Definitely keep the certificate, for production on his wedding day, if not before!

No problem about the 12th, it's not looking great for me either. TBH I don't think I'll be able to meet up again until after christmas as everything is looking very hectic.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 12:57

I can do Monday 10th if anyone is around?

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 12:59

you can use it for blackmail purposes when he's a teenager

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:02

LOL Fairy - I thought I might hide it away and produce it to show his first girlfriend?

ooh - do I really want to be one of those mothers

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:05

Good point Sputnik - a great bargaining chip

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 13:07

actually, knowing your potential mate can wipe his own bottom is quite important

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:09

LOL - I wish I'd seen DH's before I married his

That and a cooking one would be great

foxythesnowman · 30/11/2007 13:17

Just got back from Putney - again!

I can't do the 12th either!! Have mummys who lunch lunch that day. (If only it were tucking into a ceasar salad with a nicely chilled Sauv Blanc ).

had lo weighed today. she's only blardy well gone and put on 12oz in 10 days! etc etc

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:19

Foxy, that's brilliant. Well done! What a huge relief for you!

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:22

What's on everyone's Christmas lists? I'm internet shopping and looking for inspiration...

foxythesnowman · 30/11/2007 13:25

who do you need to buy for?

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:27

I've done all the kids shopping (apart from secret santa but finding everything I look at for adults BORING...

Maybe today isn't a great day to go shopping...

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 13:29

Yay Foxcub!
You mean pressies for you Annobal?

(off out will check back later)

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:29

Did you get anything in Putney?

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 30/11/2007 13:34

Foxy - that's great news about DD ...does that mean no paed visit now? From the gorgeous pics you put on FB, she looks absolutely fine to me

Holly haven't had my secret Santa yet...has DP finished them?

foxythesnowman · 30/11/2007 13:34

No, just taking stuff back. Dull. Only had an hour as couldn't be arsed to queue for the car park. Just as well really, was out at Ikea until 11 last night.

Oh my life is so GLAM!!!

foxythesnowman · 30/11/2007 13:35

Thanks Norty! how are you doing?

DaisyNightingale · 30/11/2007 13:39

well done foxcub4

I do hope you slap your HV in the face with your red book the next time you see her, for doubting your capabilities and making you feel bad

I told DH that the only thing I really need at the minute is a diamond trilogy ring. Sadly, he is just ignoring me

I think I just got some spam purporting to be from MN.....tech is investigating. It was to the account I post on here (not my registered one), and addressed to my middle name. I'll let you know what MN say.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 13:42

Nah Sputnik - looking for inspiration on adult pressies. Have got DH's all sorted though - the local auction house was selling some vintage flags - I got a (I think) navy union jack flag and am going to make a cushion out of it. DH saw one in a mag a while ago and loved it but I haven't been able to track it down so thought this would be an even better thing...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 30/11/2007 13:44

Huzzah for Foxy and her cub!

Have just put dried fruit into a bowl with some ginger wine to soak ready to make the Xmas cake tomorrow I need something nice like that to cheer me up, I feel so tired and flat. Big sorting out weekend coming up though, to make room for my parents coming to stay in a fortnight's time. As they'll be babysitting, we felt we couldn't ask them to stay in a b&b again.

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 30/11/2007 13:44

Hi chicks!

Not caught up yet, so hope everyone is ok. I dd just catch that the littlest foxcub is getting fat! Hooray! Well done foxy! HVs talk shit (obv except for the lovely derlor )!

My dp is finishing work early today (it is friday and he always feel he should take the afternoon off ). Luckily it is raining, so he can't play golf! He should, therefore, be able to finish off the secret santa emails today.

Oh BTW ds is crawling ! He is like a runaway train, he keeps escaping and pulling wires and stealing dd's toys. She is v pissed off!
