I'm here!

OP posts:

DaisyNightingale · 29/11/2007 20:21

LOL....I think so

justbeme · 29/11/2007 20:30

How are you Daisy? I was thinking you must be stuck on a loo somewhere with your head over the sink?

DaisyNightingale · 29/11/2007 20:37

LOL jbm...that would be difficult as our loo is separate from the rest of the bathroom

feeling a bit shite cold sweats, fever and shivers, but I promised some info to someone so was sorting it out. Am off for a hot drink and then bed. I packed DS into bed at 6:15 and DD at 7:00; we can all do with the early night, but here's hoping they won't both be up at the crack of dawn!

I hope things get sorted with your DD....mhc had some good suggestions there

Quick question about BFing again...does anyone find that their nose is really bunged up, but in a dry and itchy kind of way? Mine feels sore all the time.

I saw the doc today abou referral to the physio so he is sorting that out for me. I'm also getting bloods done to check iron level, full blood count, thyroid function and glucose tolerance as I've been getting woozy spells (usually mid afternoon)...

someone please shoot me

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 29/11/2007 20:40

I diagnose low blood sugar and prescribe MORE CAKE! Seriosuly though, sorry that you are feeling poorly and hope doc can find out why and sort you out

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 29/11/2007 20:49

Evening all. Sorry about your ex JBM, I agree he is being a total arse and putting you in a very tricky position. Not sure what else to say that hasn't already been said.

Hope you feel better soon daisy (and Norty) and that doc sorts you out.

Went to baby group this afternoon. DD did really well sitting on the mat, managed to sit unsupported for short periods. Very short periods, but the longest yet. Was planning to go to the town's Xmas street fair later, but got invited by a mum chum for tea, and decided that cultivating RL friendship was more important. Was quite disappointed though - 5 years we've lived here and every year I miss it for some reason or other.

HellHathNoFury · 29/11/2007 21:15

Hi All...

I need help! Any lawyers here?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 29/11/2007 21:17

I am Fury, although quite specialised, and haven't practised for a couple of years. You can facebook me if you like and I'll see if I can help

DaisyNightingale · 29/11/2007 21:19

there is a poster on here called flowerybeanbag who is good at employment law....if that's what you are looking for.

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 29/11/2007 21:22

I'm no good at employment law. Why don't you post something in the legal/financial area. There are quite a few lawyers around who give some good avice on those threads.

Still fb me if you'd like to, but I am off to bed now so I won't be able to reply until tomorrow

Goodnight everyone

HellHathNoFury · 29/11/2007 21:24

Thanks for responses ladies - Thanks Fairy but needed help tonight before I sent the email.

I will bug my mum when she finishes work tonight, she's pretty hot.

HellHathNoFury · 29/11/2007 21:24

Night Fairy!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 29/11/2007 21:24

Well it's a bit late even for me normally but i'm on my own so pleasing myself. Didn't feel like eating earlier.

Ok ladies, just invented this recipe, it was really yummy and quick: tuna steak marinated a few hours in soy sauce and lemon juice, then fried up with onions, yum

Morning all

Poor Daisy - hope you feel a bit better today. My DD seems ok today but I'm still rough....I have done NOTHING in this house the last 2 days except feed DD. She was still in her babygro when DH came home from work yesterday .....hopefully DH will get something from the chemist today for me.....and some milk....got no shopping in....

I going to try a bit of dried toast....lack of energy i presumably down to no food since Tuesday.....

DD has discovered she can poke her tongue out today....and won't put it back so dribbling is worse than ever and its quite difficult to eat with your tongue stuck out and laughing

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 11:12

hope you're over the worst now LMN. atleast you have dD to cheeer you up

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 11:25

daisy, just spotted you on the pom pom thread.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 30/11/2007 12:37

Hope you're all feeling better today. You realise that you will now have to eat double cake portions to get your strength back up (that includes JBM and Fury and come to think of it anyone else who has had a baby in the past 6 months or so ).

FOXY and FAIRY - can't make the 12th December - DS1 & DS2 nursery concert (oops [blush). As DS1 (a king) is making a special effort to walk to Bethlehem, I should go. DS2 is an angel (will be the first time ever!!)

LOL DS1 came home with a certificate of achievement from nursery yesterday. He wiped his own bum. YAY - one down, 2 to go (or 3 if you include DH )
