Where do you need to go in Putney A?

Shall we meet up for a coffee, say at Costa in the shopping centre? And I'll book the soft-play another day? If you can make Earlsfield then its a good place to get some peace and chat (Its a Kids Thing, it has a website if you want to check it out). They do a fab club sandwich. What do you think Faylisa? Am I over-complicating things. I like to overcomplicate things you know!

You are welcome Daisy

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 21:23

A packet of pom bears and a smoothie will do it for DS2 anyday...

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 21:24

Costa is good, will look up shopping centre...

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 21:26

I need to go to a gallery on Upper Richmond Road. They open at 11 but should be able to walk there.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 21:36

Off to bed too as DS2 and DS3 just woken up. I won't get a chance to check in the morning - Foxy, can you text me if there is any change of plan?

Night all

my talents are wasted as an engineer

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 28/11/2007 07:26

foxy and annobal - i will aim to be at costa about 10:30/11:00. No idea what either of you look like though.... I am 5ft 11, dark bob and wearing jeans and long purple and cream swirly top. Hope to find you later

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 28/11/2007 07:31

Morning.

Fairy, Foxy & Annobal, hope you have a great time together.

I am going to make the effort to go on the health walk this afternoon! I haven't been for a month

annobalthebignosereindeer · 28/11/2007 07:46

Hi Fairy, I have a blonde bob and will have a 2yo George with me (which will probably be said quite loudly associated with 'come back here'). I'm leaving here at 9.30 so will see you hopefully between 10.30 and 11.

Jammy, enjoy your walk.

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 28/11/2007 08:02

Morning ladies

Hope you have a great meet-up this morning....

God I'm in the middle of a huge panic attack....feel really sick, headachy...desperate for a cigarette (it'll be a year tomorrow since I gave up so CAN'T)....I'm pretty sure I'm getting worked up about work next week...but I have no control over it. FFS, what am I going to be like Tuesday morning? I NEED to calm myself down....

BadZelda · 28/11/2007 08:04

Am I being unreasonable for just having put my dressing-gown into the incinerator?

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 28/11/2007 08:40

Dunno, BZ. But if we say yes, it doesn't really matter does it, I assume if it's in the incinerator already then it's a gonner?

Deep breaths Norty, and keep away from the ciggies. It'll all be fine, give it a couple of weeks and you'll wnder what the fuss was about I'm sure.

andiemisletoe · 28/11/2007 08:48

don't worry norty it will be fine I cried on the train the first day i went back then cried at work for the next 2 days in my office in private of course not crying all over building and in front of students

andiemisletoe · 28/11/2007 08:49

do you have an incinerator bz? sounds dangerous

off to gym now catch up later

foxythesnowman · 28/11/2007 09:03

Morning!

I'm aiming for 11 - DD2 still asleep and DD1 had a terrible night, full of a cold. She should be asleep still, but DP decided he'd wake her up

Is Costa coffee in the bookshop on the second floor? I have an inkling it is. Otherwise there's one of those muffin places on the top floor which has the advantage of space for buggies. Anyway, I'll text you when I get there. I'll be late - I always am.

foxythesnowman · 28/11/2007 09:18

Sorry!

BZ, best thing for dressing gowns IMO.

Have fun at the gym Andiem! Well done for even thinking about it.

Norty, I really hope you are OK. The thought of leaving the lo's is far worse than actually doing it. You will get used to it very quickly, but its almost unimaginable until you do it. I think the best thing to do is plan some lovely things with your lo in between now and then to enjoy your last week of ML!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 28/11/2007 09:23

Oh Norty, it must be horrid but I'm sure it won't be as bad as you fear.

Norty and Annobal, I also don't know your RL names so could make a right arse of myself! Hey ho, no-one in Putney knows me...... Leaving shortly so see you soon

foxythesnowman · 28/11/2007 09:38

I'llmessage you on FB

foxythesnowman · 28/11/2007 09:41

I am such a stooopid arse! There'd an Eddie Catz opposite the shopping centre. Durrrrrr!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 28/11/2007 09:46

Thanks guys

Feel a bit better now...god I have no control over attacks like that....horrible ....this time next week (after I've done a day at work), I'm sure I'll be fine

have good days everyone

foxythesnowman · 28/11/2007 09:48

stock up on rescue remedy Norty

Sputnik · 28/11/2007 10:13

LMN, hope you're feeling better, rescue remedy sounds worth a try, and try and stay away from the ciggies, you'd probably only feel sicker from the nicotine. It's really hard leaving the LOs for the first few times but it does get easier.

BadZ, what did your dressing gown do to deserve this treatment? Must've been pretty serious. Could you not have ripped it to shreds and stamped on it a bit first? Even more fun

Nice poem Daisy

BadZelda · 28/11/2007 10:46

Morning all..

Norty - sorry to hear you're so stressed...I know exactly where you're coming from, and I don't even have to go back to work till Jan...Whilst I'm really looking forward to having 3 days a week where I don't have to deal with kinder all day I'm also super worried about childcare. At least it sounds like you've found a good nursery?

I have to admit I actually burnt 3 dressing gowns this morning...all the ones my DH has bought me for the last several years. As to what they did to me: they were cheap and nasty and not made of 100% cotton...plus I was in a bad mood because I crashed out early last night due to exhaustion and hence had to get up to a kitchen that looked like an entire rugby team had had an orgy in it this morning. Oh and I'd broken the hoover by accidentally hoovering a wet carpet yesterday (didn't realise DD1 had pissed on it). Does anyone else wake up in a flaming temper every couple of weeks? At least I didn't destroy anything else, and feel somewhat calmer now...
