Night Elsbells
me too

I am off to dream of the gym to see if it helps.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 20:33

Fury, I met with Bumper last week and she suggested we should try to meet with you as well one day. Sounds good to me. I gather you are seeing her soon? Perhaps you can come up with a plan?

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 20:35

Hmm, I'm not doing well coming up with somewhere tomorrow. I only know the Exchange Shopping Centre (park on the roof BTW). What we need is a nice soft-play with cafe, I only know one near by (they do excellent chips however, if you can make it to Earlsfield!). There is a Gymboree, but they are shite. They require 1:1 interaction .

Traipsing round with 3 buggies and 3 toddlers doesn't make for good mummy nattering!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 20:37

Speaking of gyms, I was v.disappointed yesterday. I got a thing from Sainsburys offering me a free treat, choosing from facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, reiki, acupressure and lots of lovely stuff. I asked for Indian head massage as my first choice, with acupressure as my second choice - and got given a week's trial membership at a gym an hour's drive away from my home! So disappointing

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 20:37

Glad you are back Fury! Hope you don't slink off again

Night Els, hope you are OK

Not sure about amounts of puree, I go for the 'shovel til they pop' approach myself!

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 20:37

I am meeting up with her saturday.

I am free 11th, 12, 13th Dec at this point, otherwise it will need to be a weekend after Christmas.

I am pretty easy though, no plans after Christmas at this stage.

Where are you? I am in Reading, I liked Swindon Outlet place but am happy to go somewhere else. Anywhere I can shop!

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 20:38

Go back to them Jammy, tell them that won't work for you. You never know, they might be kind!

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 20:38

daisycat has made herself at home thanks Jammy.....to the point that I have to keep pushing her off my knee when I'm feeding DD! she's been coming and going in the back garden as well, but is also quite content to sleep on the arm of the sofa all day. DH insists she is locked in the kitchen at night which is hard as she tries to claw her way out for a bit (she has never liked closed doors), but she's getting used to it.

It's nice having her curl up on my lap in the evenings, but she dribbles even more than DD!

Hey foxy...how is LOs weight this week?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 20:40

I've got to go too now. Annobal and Foxy, I'll check back in the morning to see if we have a plan. I will be driving and can get to Putney from about 10:30

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 20:40

11th would be best for me, otherwise 12th is OK, but not the 13th. I'm in Didcot, and happy to go to Swindon outlet place again, or Reading, or Oxford. In fact if I can get there relatively easily by train, I'm happy.

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 20:41

Els, fwiw I still look about six months pregnant

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 20:43

Right, DH is working late so I'm making the most of the quiet and going to bed ultra early. He should be home in an hour or so and I plan on being well asleep by then.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 20:43

I love Occado - we had a delivery this morning and they gave us free brownies

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 20:43

hmmm need bumper really!

Reading might be good simply as it has an indoors area (the oracle) if the weather is bad plus there is a big John Lewis etc we can get lost in!

Also plenty of cafes and child friendly places for lunch.

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 20:45

I'm equally happy with Earlsfield (and I love chips!). Am happy to go anywhere really - will type wherever into my trusty TomTom and follow that

justbeme · 27/11/2007 20:45

Jammy - There was a thread about the Nectar point reward thingy a few weeks back that I went on and NO ONE had got anything like Head massage/Reiki etc - Its a big con!!

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 20:48

daisy, didn't get her weighed today as Dr says it won't help - Friday is the next weigh-in. She seems to be OK, nothing wrong with her thighs! She's got enough squidgyness

Am sooo tired, went back to hospital today with DS1, seems the op went well, but got another 6 months before the all clear.

Annobal, what do you think about tomorrow? I'm a bit wishy/washy simply because I'm knackered. And a bit flaky

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 20:48

Righty ho, off to bed, got work tomorrow.

Night all.

I will try and come back more often but tbh I am best reached on FB most of the time these days!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 27/11/2007 20:49

Hello

Just a quickie tonight (story of my life )...busy tonight....can see Daisy and Fury are back

Just cooked in my new cooker and it was FAB ....they seem to have lost the instructions, so just guessed what to do....unfortunately it wasn't a culinary masterpiece, it was scampi and chips

To add to the debate, DD eats pretty much the same as Fairy's , 3 good meals a day with 4 FF bottles. We have a strict bath, bottle and bed routine and she goes to sleep at 7pm (laying on daddy usually) on the dot (till I wake her at 7 in the morning).

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 20:50

Don't be a stranger Fury!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 20:54

Hmm, I appear to still be here. Not sure how that happened. We had scampi and chips tonight as well. It was yummy!

Annobal - how easy is Earlsfield for you? If it;s not too bad then lets go there

foxythesnowman · 27/11/2007 21:04

Let me call in the morning and check - you need to book. I do need to go to Putney, as have to buy DPs birthday present, I'm just thinking of chatting opportunities. (DD1's silence can generally be 'bought' with a baby-chino!)

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 21:06

Ok, I will check back here in the morning. Really really must go now. N'night all

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 21:08

Earlsfield is fine with me. I do have to be in Putney in the morning but will be with you asap. Crying baby, back in a mo...

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 21:11

foxy, she looks bright as a button in your photos.....and as they say, all the best things come in small packages
