Just had an email from DKMA. She is fine, just really busy. She keeps popping in, but can't catch up and then doesn't know what to say!

Annobal, I've not done anything for days! Am very very bored. Was going to go to Putney to get DPs birthday present, got as far as putting the kids in the car and decided I really couldn't be arsed. Will get it on Wednesday. Are we on for Wednesday?

DaisyNightingale · 23/11/2007 12:18

I'll try them annobal, but can you really compost them? I'm sure I read somewhere they are no more biodegradeable than normal nappies, but their environmentally friendliness is in the manufacturing process. I also got a trial pack of some bamboo dispos that came from Spirit of Nature which were good....

yukky smelly disposables ...maybe a drop of lavender oil on the outside will make them smell nicer?

I need to unpack from my trip to Scotland still, and go to the supermarket, but can not be arsed. It's too bloody cold to go out today!

foxythesnowman · 23/11/2007 12:29

Can you do a home delivery shop Daisy? Is cold here too.

a lie down sounds nice. warm duvet. mmmm. oh well, feed baby and DD and head for shops. yawn.

i really am sooooo bored!

DaisyNightingale · 23/11/2007 12:37

for someone who spends half their life on th computer, I can be a bit dense at times; I never even thought of home delivery

off to check delivery slots.....

foxythesnowman · 23/11/2007 12:41

if you shop through mysupermarket.co.uk it compares your trolley with 4 big supermarkets so you get the cheapest. it also suggets swaps to save money and calories. its fab, and you can do it through your favourites from your regular supermarket.

DaisyNightingale · 23/11/2007 12:46

I haven't set up a favourites for sainsbury's yet, having only ever had two deliveries from them.

I'm just trying to tot up how much I can sell my fluff for.....and hoping that the bottom hasn't fallen out of the second hand nappy market as I've read lots on here about being unable to shift them.

Oops DD awake...

and foxy, you have beeeooootiful children . I love the photo of DS1(?) with the leaves

annobalthebignosereindeer · 23/11/2007 12:51

Daisy, I hope they're compostable - otherwise we'll have a big pile of nappies in our compost bin .

Foxy, definitely on for Wednesday. I'll have DS2 and DS3 with me...

foxythesnowman · 23/11/2007 12:54

its a lovely pic isnt it? his teacher took it.

I'll have my DDs with me. Anyone else coming?

annobalthebignosereindeer · 23/11/2007 12:59

Foxy, I love your photos. Your LOs are so gorgeous

annobalthebignosereindeer · 23/11/2007 13:03

I think Fairy is coming but Andie has other plans ().

I drove to nursery this morning and left the car there. Now I am going to have to sodding well walk back!

DaisyNightingale · 23/11/2007 13:04

did you forget you'd taken the car annobal?

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 23/11/2007 13:50

DaisyNightingale · 23/11/2007 13:52

as long as it's a bottle of gin holly

annobalthebignosereindeer · 23/11/2007 13:52

Has Mumsnet been down? I haven't been able to get online.

Daisy, I stupidly thought I could do with the exercise!

You had me worried about the nappies but apparently they are compostable. The Bambo ones aren't but 'environmentally friendly' ie non-chlorinated etc. This is a great website here. If you look down the bottom of the page on each nappy it tells you how to get rid of them.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 23/11/2007 13:58

I ordered some Christmas pressies from here yesterday and they were delivered today!

foxythesnowman · 23/11/2007 14:01
