Did I say about the liners? Am going mad thn.
Dont tell me half a story; whats going to next door? I'm so nosey!! Go and have a look now.

Just took an hour to get both boys to bed Not what I needed! They had a great time in the bath earlier though, with the set of foam lettrs that ds1 chose as his going home pressie from the party we went to on Tuesday ( the one where the present choices were much better than when he had his aprty there) He made the word 'popod' and said 'look, it says pippa'

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 05/12/2007 20:22

I got a parking fine of £45 today so was very pissed off earlier. I was late back to the car cos i had to change ds' nappy as we were leaving soft play and it was a very sloppy (sorry tmi) nappy and took some cleaning from up his back then having to change his vest (i was prepared and had a spare outfit cos he's done a few 'loose' poos this morning) so i'm gonna try appeal against the fine, they can only say no so it's worth a try right?

Very now though cos we've got our Wii

for your shitty boy Flame hope he's ok.

No idea for a new name mrm, something with Mika in maybe??

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 05/12/2007 20:27

Pleeaaasee let us read your appeal 'wasnt my fault, there was poo all up his back' cant have been used many times!! for the money though. My Dad got a ticket 2 yrs ago visiting before xmas; they had the half-price-if you-pay-in-30-days, which he diid, but they were closed for xmas hols, so they wouldnt accept it. It had arrived in plenty of time, but they werent thereto process it.

I want a name that epitomises me completely, as I dont want to change again ever!

CantSleighWontSleigh · 05/12/2007 20:44

at popod.
A name that epitomises you....GorgeousButWontEverEverEverBelieveIt

When do you fancy PWP then Jas?

CantSleighWontSleigh · 05/12/2007 20:45

Oops - posted too soon.

for fine. Do you get a half price option?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 05/12/2007 21:02

BlushHmmBlushHmm

UniS · 05/12/2007 22:10

Boy better, back in circulation, was very boring 48 hours quarentine not being abale to take him to toddler goups or chrech or even the playground. We did go to teh beach yesterday afternoon and he had a nice potter about in teh rain demanding a build him sand castles here, here and here. Bloody dogs are allowed on eth beach this time of year tho so it was a a bit of a minefeild I think I managed to steer him away from teh pooh.

Black tree- sounds v funky Friz.
MRM- how about MustRun...

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 05/12/2007 22:14

Prob quite apt given that I seem only to be fitting aerobics in at the mo as thinking mustrunaway...

Flame · 05/12/2007 22:38

I like CSWS's suggestion

Film was amazing. I love the books and I am soooo pleased with what they did.

DS has been asleep the entire time... now however he is up and sobbing

for ticket.

MustRunAwayToBournemouth?

Oh, and not a clue what was going on next door. They brought out a big roll of what looked like that silver insulating type stuff, there was silver tape on the fireplace, and they were talking about having done bedroom one and two

Tis all most odd!

Thinking bodies would involve proper crime tape etc. Drugs would probably need protective suits? They don't normally hang round for ages, pop out windows etc for squatters do they? BIL says terrorists based on the old resident's non-british appearance (he was joking I should say!!!)

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 05/12/2007 23:31

Thanks flame!! Er, what film was it? Sorry for not paying attention.

Where have you all been? I've been on..... other threads

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 05/12/2007 23:32

Been meaning to ask you Falme... totally pointless question, but out of curiosty... what size he did eventually grow out of the superman jacket?!

Flame · 06/12/2007 07:18

I passed it on to MumOfMonsters last week (That was ok wasn't it? She'll pass it back if you want it )

The Golden Compass was the film

Flame · 06/12/2007 07:53

DS was up mos of the night (thankfully with DH), sobbing for all he was worth Took his temp when we got up and it said 42 , but it went nuts after that so I don't know if it was a battery dying reading. No more poo since about 7.30pm (and none between that and nursery). He's just curled up sucking his thumb now. DH has a half day and I had all thihs stuff planned for us to get on with, but it will now probably just be us alternating between sleeping and baby holding

CantSleighWontSleigh · 06/12/2007 08:11

flame, but for good film. Err, what's it about?

Flame · 06/12/2007 08:17

You people need to read more

read them Then watch the film much later. It is about different worlds, and innocence, and the church and oodles of other stuff. Originally marketed as children's books, but sooooooooooooooo not. And no, it is nothing like Harry Potter.

OP posts:
CantSleighWontSleigh · 06/12/2007 08:19

Oh have heard of them. Not my cup of tea though.

Flame · 06/12/2007 08:26

They are reeeeeally good

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 06/12/2007 08:42

for sobbing boy Flame.

Ds was awake on and off between 2 and 4am in the night and i had to change his nappy in the night which i haven't had to do since he was tiny.

Mrm - pick csws's name suggestion, you know its true

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 06/12/2007 09:10

I quite enjoyed those Amber Spyglass ones when I read them, even though I dont like that kind of thing.

Still liking flame's name suggestion as more apt!

But he hasnt only just stopped fitting it has he?????

DaveTheFreeRangeHamsterHasGone · 06/12/2007 10:44

csws - Monday for PWP? Or the week after.
I have realised ha Ihav school acivities which require my attendance every other day next week.

Sorry I'm not around much. Not even readig he thread More building, school stuff and rl getting in the way

DaveTheFreeRangeHamsterHasGone · 06/12/2007 10:45

Wraps arrived this morning, too.Thaks Flame.

(i will change my name if I can think of somethig Christmasy.)

EachPeachPearMum · 06/12/2007 12:57

Flame- I seem to remember having to read most of the 2nd and third books through tears....

Not sure about seeing the film though, I don't think much of kidman or craig!

Flame · 06/12/2007 13:47

I'm not normally a fan, but they fit the parts perfectly surprisingly (odd seeing as I always had Asriel as older).

Yay for wrap arrival Jas

Bloody post - went yesterday and my parcel wasn't back yet (due to unbelievably slow postman), so chatted with my lovely old (past, not elderly... not that it matters ) postlady and she said she would bung it out for redelivery today - it hasn't come! So I still have to go back for it tonight.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 06/12/2007 14:05

Will have to get back to you about Monday. Suddenly remembered that ages ago my nct group said we would do christmas lunch on 10th, so mailed them all this morning to see if it's still on, and one has said she can't make it whilst another has said it's at my house and told me what food she's bringing .
I don't know yet whether I can do it, but if Sunday is an option for me then can you make it, or would that be awkward as it's the dd's Christmas present?
