Hi, hope you all had a good night last night. I went round town with my friends from work. I went home at 11.30 although i went out at 5.30 . We had a really good time and no hangover at all for me today

I've just put our christmas tree up, i can't wait to see Lewi's face when he gets up in the morning We've still got lights to put outside but dh will do that one day this week.

EPPM - I think Saturday was the 1st time i've been in town since the smoking ban came in and it was def a lot quieter in the pubs and agree no smelling like an ashtray

I put my decos up yesterday too, the fairy lights for the tree didn't work so I found some old multi-coloured ones which had to do instead so now, what with multi-coloured tree, fibreoptic reindeer and small fibreoptic tree, oodles of santas scattered everywhere and wall lights my fornt room now looks like santas grotto!! Ds was in total awe of it this morning, he stared open-mouthed for about ten minutes followed by lots of 'oooohs' and 'pretty'!

I underwent some kind of religious experience last night. Mika was phenomenal. 100 times better live than on cd, fantastic show, great venue, great company (csws might read something into that...). He's soooo much more than pop. Incredible vocal range, such a performer, such a musician. Er, I quite enjoyed it you know!

Bah humbug to xmas

Pg - gonna have to opt out of Mex due to the problems me and dh have been having - going out separately all the time being one of them and I already have 2 separate nights out planned but they have been arranged for months so we have agreed for me to stick with them. Can you let the others know as I have to log off now - ta very much.

Dave the hamster died yesterday. He was about 18 monhs old which I guess is ok for a hamster. DDs are a bit sad. I've just buried him in the garden.

Alas poor dave we knew him not , but I'm sure he was fine hamster and will be missed for about 3 weeks.

Unfortunatly hockey is not near anyone boy knows well , it is further west than we are considering moving but being bit nearer to the hockey action would be a nice side benifit of moving. just don;t think it'll be this winter somehow. Boy was playing with buddy round corner form home on saturday- so a 4 hour babaysit for us to play 1.5 hours hockey. NOt something we can do every week.
Must go and wake him up now, hes had a huge nap, hopefully sleping off this bug.

Phoenix- am liking the christmas name, makes me think of singing the song in primary school, where everyone really emphasises the 'wish' so it sounds like lots if sneezing!

We took dd to a childrens christmas concert on saturday, and I feel soooo christmassy now. I want to put a tree up, but don't wan ta ny needle drop, so need to wait another couple of weeks I think. Plus it means re-arranging the living room to fit it in, and I don't have time to clean the floor behind the units I'll move

On that subject , what age can you give them honey? I remember when she was a noob they said we couldn't give it, but don't remember when that ends.
