She's more likely to say "argh!!! cow no face mummy!!!"

Bees say bzzzzzzzzzz you know?

MrCSWS · 27/11/2007 23:12

I can always put a face on the Cow, i can't make a ladybird speak!

(BTW, i have already realised this does not apply to bees before you respond )

Phoenix · 27/11/2007 23:12

I've got some cow slippers and ds has a stuffed cow and he says 'moo' to both those

Phoenix · 27/11/2007 23:13

pmsl mr csws

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2007 23:15

I'm giving up on your mastermind for tonight Jas. Tis doing my head in! Will hopefully come back to it tomorrow, but do have my parents coming for a couple of days, and a massage in the evening.

Frizbe · 27/11/2007 23:25

Mooo says I, although I still prefer the mouse

Have started controversal thread, well it could be, but anyway....www.mumsnet.com/Talk/1375/431199?rnd=1196205318289

MRM does the dress mean you're going to try parcel taping yourself again not that you need it cause you don't, but at least you'll have this lot on hand to help out

Phoenix, yay for payrise

Hi NAO

Flame, how's friend doing?
Try not to worry too much for dd, chorous is fine (says the woman who spent a lot of time there!) dd1 is getting to hold up the 1st S in Christmas this year

So two proud mummy moments here in the last two days, dd1 back from nursery with an excellent certificate for french numbers and dd2 looked at me tonight and said poo mummy, I said, now??? she nodded, so I said, toilet like a big girl, and do you know, she legged it to downstairs loo, put dd1's seat on it and sat there till she'd done one which got her a round of applause from dd1 and I, probably the first and last time it happens, but

Frizbe · 27/11/2007 23:34

Ooooh and bounce bounce, I got a pink ranger, I got a pink ranger damn hard to find.

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 08:29

and at poo in the frizbe house!

No taping; its not my 70's dress, its a very normal dress, can just about get away with it if I wear a cardy of some sort The only major prob is that my tummy is so fat that tights roll down at thetop but i'm going to need them as there'll be a gap between top of boots and hem of dress. Oh, and my chain has brken for my posh pendant, anfd I haeny yet raked through to see if I have anotherone. I know dh bought me one last time one got snapped by ds1 as a a baby, but I think that one actually broke too.

Dreamyt that I took Jas's starigate to the party

Dont forget my inserts Flame. I am desperate. Well, as desperate as you can be about such a thing.

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 08:30

Jas, do the dd's like all Dr who stuff? They have lots of figures 1/2 price in sainsburys. Selling out fast though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2007 08:38

You just need a different brand of tights mrm. If I can get ones that don't roll down then you most certainly can!

Also at poo Friz.

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 08:39

What are yours then?I know I 'll wish I hadnt asked becuase they'll prob cost abouta tenner at least [hm]

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2007 08:41

Silkies - mail order folk.

Chloe55 · 28/11/2007 09:05

That's great Friz - ds has since regressed in the past couple of weeks - he tells me he needs a wee/poo then blatantly refuses to do it in the potty/toilet and demands his nappy goes back on to go

I have written a rather long thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/9/431246?stamp=071128085010

Jas · 28/11/2007 17:42

Chloe. I will try and reply on your thread later (I have read it), but have a for now.

Silkies - I used to get them when I was working. The first few are free when you sign up. I cancelled and resigned twice for the free ones

I bouhght lots of DrWho figures when Woolies were selling the cheap last month, for FILto give the dds, so I don't need more, but thanks for thinking of me

Funny you said about the stairgate at the party...I was going to suggest I bring your nappies if you like. Every time I plan on going anywhere during the day atm, dp decides he needs me and I end up cancelling. so no idea when I can get to you for the gate. Is it ok in your loft still?

What is a ranger Frizbe?

I've kept ds up all day in an atempt to get him to sleep tonight at a normal time. He will probably drop off in the car when I collec the dds fromBrownies now

Chloe55 · 28/11/2007 18:17

Ds went all day at nursery today with no nap - the staff said he has been an absolute livewire all day! He was when he got home too - is in bed now though, phew! I think someone spiked him with speed this morning

Chloe55 · 28/11/2007 18:17

OMG I was message no.666 - is that a bad omen??

Flamesparrow · 28/11/2007 19:15

Replying in a minute, atm just going

Nothing looks right, I look hideous in everything, and I am going to the do in a bag

Jas · 28/11/2007 19:54

U nless I find something amazing in the charity shop omorrow, I will be in a bag, too

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2007 20:11

I might actually look nicer in a bag. Really girls, you'll all look lovely whatever.

Chloe. Will also reply later (massage woman due any min and parents here too).

Dd also had no nap today, but then zonked on my lap at 5 o clock, which was my nightmare scenario, as I knew I needed her asleep at 8. Woke her after 10/15 mins, and mum and dad helped me recover the situation when dd was somewhat less than pleased about it all!

I don't have silkies at the mo, because I don't wear tights often enough, but still have some left from about 2 or 3 years ago!

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 20:22

Lol at 'is it ok in the loft?'. Er, no jas. Its very lonely and a bit cold I'd love to get my nappies, but I dont fancy carying a carrier bag round all night! Were you planning on being all practical with a huge shoulder bag by any chance?! Or, here I go agaon with my lack of geography... if you ned to drive part way, drive here. Then travel on the tube with us. Leave nappies collect gate. And if you get really really pissed when Flame spikes your drink, you can sleep here Or is that a ridiculous going out of way thing? I'm assuming its noy too horrendous for you to get here, else you wouldn't have bothered visiting before!

Chloe, I read your OP on your other thread, but not any replies yet. I'm intending on a big sensible detailed reply. But in brief, for now....... god, if I was a 14 I'd be ecstatic (I went from 10 to 14 with ds1 then to 16 with ds2), me and dh both dislike each other's appearance now (I'm fat and he's stopped bodybuilding) but as its 50/50 we cancel each other out, we have lots of rows about money becaure its really stressful knowing your income doesnt meet your outgoings if you buy even one little nonessential, and he's rubbish at looking after the boys. Only you know how bad it is, and what the atmosphere is like it your home. But we have all the same issues you've listed, but dont feel in as much danger area as you. I think your actual problems are all very standard (which is a shame, when you think about it), but problems can be dealyt with in a variety of ways. I know firsttime round we had less problems than me and dh do now, but it ended in divorce because of underlying things, and because deep down neithre of us really tried to keep it together. Sometime, though, you really need to step back and try and look at things objectively (easier said than done). I think rationally about me and dh all day when he's a towk, and know what would help to improve our relationship. But as soon as he's actually here, the theory flies ouft of the window! Is this all just waffle?

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 20:26

Jas, if you come here, with an outfit just incase, you can have a try on fro mmy 'no longer fits' box! I've got a lovely long tiedye dress, a really lovely flowery dress, a black one with a lace panel down the front which I used to adore, tops that would go with jeans, or a couple of suits if you want to be posh!

csws, you wouldn't look good in a bag. I was expecting to see that incredibly perky cleavage again this year!

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/11/2007 20:31

You know you're much deeper on here than in rl mrm .

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 20:33

Ah, but so few people know the real RL me... In fact, prob only one (and thats neither of the 2 or 3 peole you'd guess at!)

mustrunmore · 28/11/2007 20:36

Oh, and that really was supposed to say 'all day when dh is at work' not 'when he was a twonk'. But it is a superb typo He's now wondering why I'm sniggering

Jas · 28/11/2007 20:36

Well you made me laugh mrm (But not at the deep relationship bit. I\agree toally with that bit. The same is pretty much true here, too, except neither of us dislikes each others appeaance that much.)

What time are you leaving? I'd need to come a bit earlier to try on your stuff, and still not make you too late.. Does all our stuff require norks? I have none at all remember. I think you do pretty well on the perky cleavage thing, too.

Actually thinking about it, if I sit with you, csws and Flame I'm going to look like a boy, aren't I?
