Flamesparrow · 26/11/2007 20:50

I just don't like the mouse! I don't like the cow either tbh though.

Get the bee!

No way my friend will see me, she is too messed up

Jas · 26/11/2007 21:50

Flame.

Those bugs....they are better as bugs. I've looked at them all and the bee and ladybird are great. Please don't buy the faceless cow. When i isn't in a picture with "cow" written next to i you can't tell what it is.

I've finally thought to check train times for Saturday...There are no trains on Saturday I only checked because my friend visited this weekend and there wee none then, either. I will have to drive part way in and get the tubethe rest of the way instead.

mustrunmore · 26/11/2007 21:56

sorry , hello everyone. Am gonig to do a very quick vague post, as I'm knackered. Have just spent all evewnig trying to set up my new phone and get it sussed (cheaperthan the old one on pay as you go, esp if I reemeber to do the cashback!) Befoer you worry, I'm not texting the new number to you all befoer I 'm happy with the phone, and have used up the credit on the old one!!

Flame, I'm sure I can feed you Might be chaotic though as the boys will be around!

Flamesparrow · 26/11/2007 22:03

Psycho has 5 - your place will be heaven We don't demand meat, she does get arsey if you give her milk though (well, arsey/pukey and rashy = the same, no?)

Flamesparrow · 26/11/2007 22:04

What type of phjone?

How can there be NO trains?

Which is a thought - how are we getting there?? Are there trains for us or am I driving somewhere???

mustrunmore · 26/11/2007 22:11

Yep, trains for us I'm sure. Will check if we have to take a daft route due to engineering works, but I doubt it.

Samsung, hence I've been setting up for ages because I'n only a nokia girl but did give into an erricsson because it was a pressie! Its teeeny.

How about you tell me what to cook and I will? No milk even as an ingredient? Can I just wuss out and do pasta or wraps or something?

Flamesparrow · 26/11/2007 22:12

Pasta and wraps is perfect - as long as there is no cheese

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 14:05

Where is everybodY?

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2007 18:16

Just here quick. Busy day.

How is friend flame?

I switched from Nokia to Sony, and spent 18 months detesting it before switching back.

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 18:21

I have coped surprisingly well with the switch from nokia to motorola.

I have heard nothing from my friend I am actually taking that as a good sign because her husband would have contacted either me or fireflyfairy2 if something serious had happened.

DD says "Katie is a star, Jason is a king, I am nothing" So I sobbed.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 27/11/2007 18:26

csws...its me N a O ..incognito

was it you asking about the wheely bugs? Anyway I ordered mine from ickids they were fab free postage and have arrived - i got large bee and small ladybird - both fab but the ladybird melted our hearts a bit more!!!

hth

hope you are all keeping well!

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 18:29

Hello!!!!!!!!

SEE We told you to get a BUG

Jas · 27/11/2007 20:13

Hello Nice to see you!

I hope you are being persuaded to get a BUG csws.

DD is nothing? What a mean nursery. The dds infant school do a very boring (I've seen it lots of times) nativity, bu everyone gets to be something.

The route is not running a weekends, so no trains. I'll just drive closer, then not drink at all. It means I have no idea how long it will take me to get there so I may be the first one there, and I may be really late

I'm still busy being a handymans mate during the day. He is finally getting up and starting work earlier, so things are speeding up. I'm going out to meet up with a postnatal friend tomorro, so I'm leaving him to it. I also have to create a High School Musical outfit for dd2 to wear in the Christmas parade on Friday. Something warm as she will be out for a couple of hours.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2007 20:23

Didn't understand that flame until Jas made it all clear. Could you try telling her that some special people need to not have a specific part because they are very good at being everything, so they can stand in for anyone who is ill, rather than being tied to one part?

I am not afraid to be different. I will have a cow. I am not afraid to be different. I will have a cow.

Interesting name change PYbf . Great to see you though .

Where can I find out train route for Sat? Trainline tells me best trains for me, but I don't know if they stop at St Albans or not, and I said I would meet PrincessMel there enroute.

How was scan dame?

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 20:29

No advice with HSM

I think it means that she is chorus (aka sat in a line on a bench at the back of the stage in a hat) - she won't buy the stand in bit for a minute

She has been very low in general today - we started off with "Jason knows all his words and I don't " (keywords for reading), followed by the nativity, then gymclub "Ben, someone and someone can do bunny hop handstands and I can't"

I tried explaining that she just needs practice, but apparently no, she will never be able to

She then went on this evening to get upset about the lounge being the wrong colour (again).

Christmas do - MRM is wearing a dress?!?! Did I come to some arrangement whereby I was definitely wearing one too or summat? What are the rest of you wearing??

Phoenix · 27/11/2007 20:33

But the cow is scary looking with no face Get the bee

There will be no more postal strikes you'll be pleased to hear. The pay deal has been accepted. We'll get £175 lump sum (pro rata) and back pay from Oct 1st in the next few weeks

Jas · 27/11/2007 20:35

Trains for csws. It should tell you if you put all your details in I think.

A dress? I missed that (Or did she only tell you?)
I haven't even thought about what I'm wearing. I need something pracical for tube on my own late at nigh, but not jeans I guess. No idea....

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 20:36

Oh thank you soooo much for that news PG

It seems the dress was mentioned in email! Oh well, so, she is wearing a dress.

BUT if you didn't know then it is most likely not some blood pact I made

CSWS why not a bug?

Jas · 27/11/2007 20:37

Yay! for the pay rise.....will you get it before Chrismas?

The cow with no face will haunt you csws, and you'll regret it. Get the ladybird!

Phoenix · 27/11/2007 20:41

Hope so yes, they've said we should get it 7th or 14th. We also get a £100 christmas bonus some time before christmas

mustrunmore · 27/11/2007 21:15

Oh, you're all very funny. I am indeed wearing a dress, as its the only thing that fits me apart from my jeans, and the scruffy but comfy skirt that I've worn on the last 3 occasions I've seen csws At this point, I could be very mean to Flame and say not to wear a dress (thereby her looking not at all attractive, and giving me some leeway as I'll look so shit compared to everyone else ) On the other hand, its nice to have pretty friends; makes the photos look good Remind mre not to show my belly in any of the photos this year Oh, and I'll prob be wearing the same cardy as last year, borrowed from friend again, as I have nothing to go with the dress, and I know that the cardy will!

Poor dd Flame
Ds1 has been a little shit all day. Even had to bring him home early from playgroup this morning, leaving ds2 in the hands of my neighbour so that he didnt miss out.
Refused his 1am entry to our bed last night/this morn. Resulted in a tantrum of epic scale, eventually went to sleep 3am.

Just written out family xmas cards.

Hurrah for extra pay phoenix (have no idea if thats a good amount or not )
Dh was underpaid by £200 this month They're sorting a cheque out for him, after a bit of convincing.

mustrunmore · 27/11/2007 21:16

Cow with no face will be like those little kids in gas masks on Dr Who

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 21:31

@ the kids

The dress is more because you tend to be a not never no way never kind of dress person Psycho has lent me her top from last year, but it is a tad loose on the norks ( NEVER thought that would happen in any tops, especially not THAT one), so I am considering getting one that fits instead, with decnet black jeans and flat boots.

for shit hcild

Flamesparrow · 27/11/2007 21:31

sorry for cod speak

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2007 21:38

That episode of Dr Who was too dull, so I didn't watch it .
I don't want a bug because everyone else has a bug, and both dh and I like to be different (feel free to chip in here and back me up MrCSWS!) . And because dd will say 'moo' if she has a cow, but ladybirds don't even say anything- dull dull dull!

I thought you wore that skirt because I said that I liked it the first time .

I think I'm wearing a dress - black, knee length, with a purple bolero, which I have yet to try on with it (arrived yesterday, had the dress already), but if that doesn't work then I'll be in the same skirt as last year (long, black, nondescript, so no-one except you lot will realise!).

Thanks for the train link. Found the info I wanted, so now just need to get hold of PM. I'm planning on getting there right at the beginning, as I'm unlikely to stay late.
