CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 14:34

Bah - I just lost a game!

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 14:44

You think far too deeply then csws!

I'm at home...alone...no boys. Dh was most miffed, as he was going to meet Mum with ds2, but then ds1 kicked up a fuss, but ds2 already had shoes on and knew he was going somewhere, so he ended up taking both. he point blank refused to go in Sainsburys for bananas and cheese with 2 boys though

So, I could be up to all kinds of realxing or exciting things. but i'm making celeriac gratin. Hmm. (Forgot I still had the one that was here whwn you wre csws )

EachPeachPearMum · 17/11/2007 14:54

Well, dd's virus hasn't quite gone. Has a temp again today, though not high. Have dosed with calpol, and we spent the morning running around the park in the sunshine, fed the ducks, watched dogs, went on the swings etc.

Of course, DH has it now too....

CSWS- wish I had the problem you do- dd begs for medicine, sometimes she tells me her teeth hurt, even when I'm quite sure they don't!

Friz- is larping LARPing?

Frizbe · 17/11/2007 17:11

EPPM yep it is LARPing

CSWS for you having a crappy day with dd {{{{hugs}}}} have some virtual wine (or some actual if you have any!) hope dh gets home for you soon.

Flame any beds yet?

MRM how do you make that then?

Had nice busy day here but am ready to pick up pizza and go home now, just killing the last half hour!

Phoenix · 17/11/2007 20:58

Awww come off it Jas, you know i'm thick. 8 colours in play, code length 4 and repeating colours. I think we can safely say you'll win

I might let dh play some of my games against you lot cos he's only got 6 friends on Facebook and only me to play against which as you know isn't a challenge

Friz - what do you mean by 'I reckon even phoenix must have beaten me, although I've not been on to check' are you saying i is stupid????

for poorly babies.

Chloe - implantation bleed??

I've forgot the rest

Phoenix · 17/11/2007 21:02

I did it Jas

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 21:17

Come on you lot, help me with my Christmas shopping...

11-14 year olds
book for 7 year old

EachPeachPearMum · 17/11/2007 21:29

Friz- My dsis LARPs!

Flame · 17/11/2007 21:31

Beds done, little dude wasn't keen to start with, then I went to check and he was asleep, legs either side of the ladder being held in by his bum Fell before I got the camera

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 17/11/2007 22:44

I take it he's on the bottom Flame?
Sounds very cute (apart from the falling bit!)

Jas · 17/11/2007 22:47

Phoenix. If your dh wants to play I'll be his friend. You did yours really quickly.

No joists More holes in the walls though

EPPM - dd2 is always asking for calpol, too. She changes her mind mid sentance as to what hurts sometimes, as I don't give calpol for ummy ache, but might for a headache/sore throat if I believe her.

I did look at your book thread csws. I'll look again....

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 22:49

Isnt it going to be a trauma changing the sheets on the top one? Or am I the world's laziest parent?

Hello EEPM

csws, I've finally chucked your box in the bin. THey still watch telly in it, but as an entire side is now ripped off, I thought I'd get rid, and he may not notice amidst birthday pressies tomorow!
Have just brought pressies down here; family and close friends cover the entire treadmill, and there's a box with the ones from his party
I'm wondering what to do with any doubles/crap ones, as this is the first year he's been really aware of who gave what. I know that sounds ungrateful, but you really do end up with alot of plastic in the house that never gets looked at, and some of he nursery friends will be poundland-fall-apart-straight-away stuff. I know the family stuff is all great, as I chose 90% of it

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 22:51

Hello Jas. Would either dd like a Jacqueline Wilson diary for next yr? Mum has one going spare (came as a bonus gift when she ordered some books!). Or are they not into that yet/ever??!! I can get her to post to you if you do want it.

Jas · 17/11/2007 22:56

Yes please mrm. DD1 would love it, thankyou

Top bunk changing is a right pita. I'm consiering making dd1 do it herself

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 22:58

Ok. Funny thing is, she's her now, but the diary isnt!

Flame · 17/11/2007 23:09

You're meant to change sheets?!!?

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 23:09

I still have ds1's card in the car, unposted .

We haven't even seen the builders since Monday Jas, if that makes you feel better!

Spent all night looking at books/presents, and not much further on. Shattered, so going to bed now.

Night xx.

EachPeachPearMum · 17/11/2007 23:09

I always hated changing my sheet when I had the top bunk it was sooo hard to do!

Phoenix · 18/11/2007 09:19

Morning

Flame - at ds' sleeping position. How did he do for the rest of the night?

Friz - for busy days in the shop, i work Saturdays so can't make the grand opening either. How far away are you from me anyway?

I've bought most of my christmas presents or at least part of, except for my mum. She doesn't know what she wants, i don't know what to get. Any ideas, got £40 to spend.

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/11/2007 09:41

Is there a nice perfume that she like Phonenix?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEX

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/11/2007 09:51

dh doesn't like the face on the mouse. He likes the cow . Which one are you getting EPPM?

Phoenix · 18/11/2007 10:05

Perfume is a possibility csws but i always seem to get her perfume. She's just so hard to buy for. She doesn't read, doesn't listen to cd's, doesn't collect any ornaments or anything. She has said she wants some slippers but they don't cost £40 so need other stuff

Phoenix · 18/11/2007 10:06

Happy Birthday Lex

MrCSWS · 18/11/2007 10:19

Phoenix

Look at Nordika Slippers (which are close to £40), They are the business. CSWS has a pair (and my DF and FIL and me....).

MrCSWS · 18/11/2007 10:19

sorry, forgot a link
