CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2007 23:01

Anyone got ideas for what I can do with dd tomorrow? Dh not home til about 3pm, and I have nothing planned .

Flame · 16/11/2007 23:04

Is that mouse based on you?!!? I knew it looked familiar!

Swimming?

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 16/11/2007 23:07

Leaving swimming for dh to do on Sun, so that I can use gym.

Better go to bed I suppose, or I won't want to do anything. We didn't have a good night last night (have been up to her during night for last 4 or 5 nights).

EachPeachPearMum · 16/11/2007 23:13

Its supposed to be clear tomorrow, so something outdoorsy like park or nature centre?

Frizbe · 17/11/2007 07:48

Hi Girls, sorry I've been missing rather busy here!
dd2 is currently lying on her face in the bathroom screaming, which she's been doing for the last 3/4 of an hour, because she's apparantly not getting her own way about something or maybe its cause she got up at 5.45 she's ok when she can have a cuddle or do what she wants to do, so defo a temper strop

EPPM for your scare, hope everything is ok now {{{Hugs}}} very scarey when things like that happen.

Flame {{{{hugs}}} for not making postoffice, hope you get there ok today, its a pita their closing times. should be till 6 I reckon.

Can't wait to see dd2's face when she gets downstairs and see's dh's friend whose staying for the weekend, she has no idea he's here! I'm working today at shop, as is dh, but he's larping in the woods, so my folkes have kindly agreed to have the kids, hope they don't mind dd2 being a whinge bucket

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 09:01

csws, some advice. Now, you know I dont like spending money. But even I would say the wheelybug is a good idea if you can afford it. It'll go great on your wooden floor. Ds1 still loves them, and he's 4 tomorrow, so I'm sure you'd get value from it. Even if she goes off it for a while, just hide it and bring it back out a few months later. I suspect ds1 would use them as some kind of dodgems if he had a friend on them with him

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 09:02

Go swimmming. Go somewhere with a wave machine and lots of slides. Put her in armbands s oyou can get a swim in while pushing her in front of you.

Got my Mum arriving this afternoon. So we'll be cleaning all morning

JaneSparrow · 17/11/2007 09:05

Go help MRM clean

I have been sorting their room for hours now (started yesterday, and restarted at 7,30 this morning).

TWO BIN BAGS of toys to get rid of. Not doing anything with them until the MN Santa emails have been sent round, will donate what I can to that, and then attempt to be strong and ebay some, but I will probably decide I can't be arsed and freecycle

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 09:07

I love sorting.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 09:07

Get a swim in with dd - you must be joking?! We spend most of the time at the pool with dd jumping off the edge, saying more, and doing it again, over and over.

dd has decided, it seems, that we are just going to feed for the whole day .

I did say that I will get a wheelybug mrm, but I need advice re the mouse ears!

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 09:09

Who is JaneSparrow?

Flame · 17/11/2007 09:09

I was thinking this morning that you would be in heaven MRM

OP posts:
Flame · 17/11/2007 09:09

lol sorry, there was a Jane thread, it seemed only right to namechange

OP posts:
Flame · 17/11/2007 09:12

FINALLY I have won a game again!

Hopefully my logic is returning

OP posts:
Frizbe · 17/11/2007 09:18

yay for winning game and for stuffing lots of toys into bags....dd1 is still earning her's back after her temper tantrum last sunday

So CSWS needs something to do today then! sorry only skimmed the thread earlier....a nice wintery walk somewhere? collecting leaves to collage when you get back? I think I'd try and do something outside today, as tomorrow is supposed to be horrible....do you have any nice twee villages nearby (ish) where you could vaguely xmas windowshop, whilst grabbing good coffee, maybe with a nice park? sorry don't know your neck of the woods too well....

Frizbe · 17/11/2007 09:19

PS: Evil mum that I am, I left dd2 having a mardy on the sofa, with dh loading the van, and dd1 and dh's mate attempting to entertain her! had to come to work.......

Jas · 17/11/2007 09:33

I think you wll probably win against me too Flame. I'm having a bit of trouble getting my brain into gear this morning Wasting moves all over the place.

Sorry I didn't come back last night.DP hogged the computer.

I'm supposed to be helping him get the new joists in the upstairs today. NOT FUN. I will get it wrong and he will shout at me. We'vegot a birthday party to go to this aftenoon though, soat least I know it won't go on all day.

Jas · 17/11/2007 09:35

It was against me. I will finish it, even though I've lost. I'll try agan later.

Frizbe · 17/11/2007 10:49

Jas at least you're no worse than me! I shall challange you later this weekend, once our houseguest has gone, as have a few over tonight! I reckon even phoenix must have beaten me, although I've not been on to check
Good luck with the joists and enjoy the bday party...quiet morning here, its always slow till 11am on a sat, bizzare!

mustrunmore · 17/11/2007 11:53

Mouse ears might fray?

I'm fab for knowing who Janesparrow was by instinct

Flame · 17/11/2007 11:54

How oculd you not know it was me... a sparrow related name posting on our thread

Bedroom sorted. Distinct absence of bunk beds...

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 12:54

Don't give me something else to worry about the ears for! I just want to know if they'll be in the way when riding it. Went to Mothercare with miserable dd whilst out this morning (went to park first after giving her choice between that or farm), to see if they had them in store to have a go with, but they have to order them in.

DD now sleeping in the car. She has been really quite horrible to be around today . Had another bad night and early start too, so I'm guessing it all adds up to teeth, despite her saying that they don't hurt - a cunning ploy to avoid medicine methinks .

Dh flight looks like it's actually on time for once. Prob means that the motorway will be bad instead!

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/11/2007 12:56

It took me a moment to get the Sparrow bit. With it being JAne Sparrow I thought it might be Jas.
