I hope no one minds the other thread seemed to be dying out a bit.

I can't belive Harry is one on Friday, he is into everything, such a cheeky chappy!

Mum is alot better they are sending her home to rest and loose some wieght then getting her back in for another crack at op.
The events of this horrible yr have all caught up with her and she is in bits, its painfull tyo wathc especially not knowing what to say or do.

Jack is fine, still hating nebulisers but its for his own good, he is to into everything and looking more grown up by the day.

I hope everyone is well, are we all looking forward to xmas?

WooHoo NJ - that's brill news! Fingers crossed for a nice sticky bean

Agree with Saralou about the sling. I also find that using Cbeebies to entertain if I have a long feed helps It's ok at the moment because the new ones sleep so much although breakfast is a little fraught in our house as Libby likes to have some awake time then and doesn't want to be on her own in her moses basket!

Am sure you'll be fine

Hurrah Kaybee - he is yummy! Lovely name too.

DS really starting to chat to me now which is lovely. Enjoying our first lot of warm weather in the garden too - getting him back indoors is v interesting though...

saralou · 07/05/2008 19:45

oh nat how did i miss that?? fab news!!

kaybee, he is lovely! and how could i forget about beebies!! also very handy!

Kaybeeand2boys · 07/05/2008 22:24

thanks guys, we think he is a cutie (apart from between 7 and 9pm when he screams his head off)

And a huge CONGRATS to NJ - thats great news

calsworld · 08/05/2008 21:29

Ah Kay, he's lovely, am v v and happy for you too!

Kaybeeand2boys · 13/05/2008 22:21

thanks calsworld, i hope you're next xx

podglet · 30/05/2008 16:14

Hellooooo?

Where is everybody?

Hope all ok.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/05/2008 16:28

Hiya Podglet, how are you? Things settled down?

I am here most days, but no one ever seems to be here anymore!

Kaybeeand2boys · 31/05/2008 19:25

i am always around too but no one ever posts on here anymore

how are you feeling NJ? When are you due??

And how is your dd doing podglet?

We are all ok. Ds2 seems to have colic, damn it! Went thru all that with DS1 so was hoping for a bit of luck this time but no chance........

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/06/2008 08:18

Hiya Kaybee

Everything is fine here thanks, had a bit of a scare a couple of weeks back, but had a scan and everything was fine I am due in January, longggggg way a way yet! I've got the booking in appointment with the midwife tomorrow.

Sorry about the colic, can't be much fun for any of you How are you getting on with being a mum of 2?! It's funny because it seems to be that you find the change of going from 1 to 2 either the easiest thing in the world, or the hardest thing in the universe!

Hope everyone else is well?!!!

podglet · 02/06/2008 09:52

Hi!

NJ - how exciting for you! Glad all ok with the bean, how many weeks are you now?

DD is ok. we have a touch of colic / reflux (thankfully not the sicky sort though) which we are curing with gripe water and a product called "windy pops" which is fab poor mite is also full of cold and the Dr's won't / can't do anything. She is so bunged up

DS fine too, talking loads now, most of it just toddler babble but he does have quite a lot of "proper" words too. He is just doing 2 mornings a week at nursery now and loves it but is picking up some horrid habits (toe chewing anyone?!) including tantrums already - they are major but he will throw himself on the floor and shriek if he is told off or not aloowed to do something - ho hum.

Hope everyone is ok, been wondering about Debbsy and Stacey, haven't "seen" them for ages, Charlee too.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/06/2008 14:13

Hiya Podglet

I am about 8 and a half weeks

Bless your DS Toe chewing is a sign of disgusting manhood good joints And we have the tantrums here too, serious stamping and screaming, whoever came up with the 'terrible two's' were lying, it starts wayyyy before, and lasts much longer than when they are 2!

And poor DD I heard something about putting vicks vapour rub on their feet (I know, it sounds bonkers, never tried it myself, but it is said to help )

How are you?

Kaybeeand2boys · 02/06/2008 14:17

I was wondering what happened to the others too, hope Charlee is ok as she hasn't posted since Jan when Jack was in hospital.

Where do you get the windy pops from Podglet? We are using colief and infacol but would prefer somethign natural if it works!

Glad to hear your scare was just that NJ and everything is ok. Some days I think having 2 kids is ok, and other days it seems like the hardest thign in the world! I feel guilty everytime i have to ignore one over the other!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/06/2008 15:29

Fingers crossed Charlee will pick up the MN vibes and post soon Has anyone got her email?

I think learning to share your time between 2 (or more) kids is the hardest bit, but once you have it sorted, it is fine. It helped when DS2 was born that DS1 was old enough to understand that sometimes things needed doing for DS2 first, I think DS2 is going to find it hard when DC3 arrives just because he will be too young to understand

Kaybeeand2boys · 02/06/2008 16:11

yeah i hope so. I searched for her and she hasn't posted at all anywhere since then, unless she's changed her name I guess!

do you think we should start a new thread as this title is a bit old now they are all 18 months!

podglet · 02/06/2008 17:52

Def up for a new thread...

NJ - I am fine thanks, taking things day by day, DP has a lot of work to do to make things better but I hope we will get there DS didn't really understand DD's arrival but he has accepted it brilliantly. I imagine the trouble will come when she is on the move and nicking his toys!

Hope Charlee or even her mum see this

podglet · 02/06/2008 18:01

Sorry Kaybee - the windy pops are from a health food shop we have in Colchester. I am sure you will be able to get them in other places too - try Google?

saralou · 02/06/2008 19:36

hi people, kaybee just kicked my arse over here!

glad all new babies and beans are doing well!!!

when i think back to when ds2 was new it seems so easy in comparison to now, but then again i get more sleep

2 toddlers is a mission!!!!! lots of fighting over toys, what one has the other one wants. general winding each other up and egging each other on!!!! (sorry kaybee, you got 2 boys, they should come with a noise level warning!!) i'm exhausted at the end of a day.... i actually go to work to have a break!!!

anyways i'm a very busy lady at the moment..... planning our wedding!!! we finally got round to setting a date it's 30th september and we will have been together 6 years that day! very exciting!!! just under 4 months away! all i have to talk about at the moment is wedding stuff!!!

i have to go, ds2 is lying in bed saying hiya over and over!!! it's his favourite word!! and i gotta get the bigger one up their!!

saralou · 02/06/2008 19:38

oh, and charlee's ok... i've 'seen' her on facebook and msn

next time i 'see' her i'll kick her over here too

fairylights · 02/06/2008 19:41

gosh i used to lurk and occasionally post on the due/then after Nov 06 threads (was cheritongirl then), can't believe that so many of you are onto your second and third DCs!! Congrats to all of you!!
we are just considering the possibility of dc2 but not totally ready yet..
well done all of you who are coping with 2 or more or are pg, sure it must be a lot of hard work (why u don't feel quite ready yet!)as well as lots of joy too

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 02/06/2008 20:32

Congrats to all with 2nd and 3rd - would like to join you but no luck as yet - still Taro is a fantastic little boy and we are very happy.

Love to all

Lady Anne

calsworld · 02/06/2008 21:54

I'm still here too - just find it difficult to get on and post with work and everything. I'm also slightly addicted attached to the TTC boards as trying for No 2 at the moment!

DS is doing well, not too many tantrums so far but not sure if that's coz I just give him what he wants or if he's quite easy going.

He's also really fond of "hiya" and says it whenever DH or I walk into the room, even if we've only popped out for a couple of seconds. He's also mastering 'susie' (the dog), daddy and mumumumumum. Not quite got that down to just mum yet! He has a good go at "all gone" and has the pitch, but you can't make out the sound. "uh oh" is a particular favourite too - normally when he's broken something or dropped it on the floor! He makes a noise for bye but it sounds more like "dur"!

DH is convinced he said "bubbles" tonight too, whilst having his hair washed.

He's learning to run well too, and slithers down the stairs giggling.

Anyway, I'm sure you've got better things to read than my ramblings...

Mummy2TandF · 02/06/2008 22:56

Hi everyone - I haven't posted on this thread for sooo long, I thought we had all dissapeared! Congrats to all those with new babies and a big for NJ (I had been following your other threads)
I can report that I am finding things hard work here atm but that's not really surprising considering but dd is a very active talkative little girl who takes great pleasure in copying her big brother
She says so much now and is quite a character, she also seems to have a bit of thing for men will have to watch that one.

mygirllollipop · 03/06/2008 10:31

Hello all, don't really post on here much now cos you are at a different stage than me, it's all pg and baby talk and there'll be no more of that for me (I hope!).
M2T&F - hope you are finding things easier as time goes on.
DD4 says soooooooo much it's nearly unbelievable. Oh and tantrums - nailed them. Than again she has dd3 (3y2m) to copy off and boy does that girl know how to throw a strop.
Anyway it's nice to stop by every now and then!

podglet · 06/06/2008 10:12

Wow, so good to "see" everyone.

Saralou - congrats on the wedding! Glad Charlee is ok too - give a kick over here!

Calsworld - fingers crossed for a BFP very soon for you.

LadyAnne - Hope you are ok

Mygirl - DS is a master stropper too! Think he must have picked it up at nursery because there isn't anyone here to copy!

DD appears to have my temper she's a right stroppy madam and likes to make her displeasure known She is 7 weeks now and growing like a weed. She is a better sleeper than DS (touching wood) and only wakes twice a night. Life with 2 under 2 is mad but fun!

saralou · 09/06/2008 14:40

podglet, dd is so gorgeous!!!! i really can't wait for my niece now!! (sis has 7 weeks to go)

i got my dress today!!!! it's so lovely!!!!

i thnk jack has gone back into hospital, i'll let her know the next time she's about!!
