I hope no one minds the other thread seemed to be dying out a bit.

I can't belive Harry is one on Friday, he is into everything, such a cheeky chappy!

Mum is alot better they are sending her home to rest and loose some wieght then getting her back in for another crack at op.
The events of this horrible yr have all caught up with her and she is in bits, its painfull tyo wathc especially not knowing what to say or do.

Jack is fine, still hating nebulisers but its for his own good, he is to into everything and looking more grown up by the day.

I hope everyone is well, are we all looking forward to xmas?

hi everyone... had a fab weekend away without children.. although i did keep looking around for them and it was very quiet in comparison!

we got very drunk on all sorts, vodka, wine, champagne, cocktails!

oysters were a bit wierd tasting and quite salty! i didn't hate them though!

cal - your poor little man, my sister and nephew had it last year! don't start worrying about speech, ds1 was nearly 3 before he started (trick is shutting him up now) honestly, it's fine at this age... ds2 can only say a few words - fgs he calls me gaggy! but they're mostly words only i understand what he's on about!

Staceym21AtLast · 06/04/2008 20:48

cal teeth will come when they come, and so will words. by 18 mo my dd could speak in sentences, ds is 17 mo and barely says 10 words, im not bothered, he understands stuff well enough so no problem!

saralou, glad you had a good time, i always find the place quiet when the kids arent around! although i miss the peace when they are here! lol

podglet · 07/04/2008 11:00

Hi girls,

Saralou - hope you had a good birthday, even without DP and your nights away sound fab (though I don't like oysters I'm afriad), coktails sound fun though!

Kaybee - I think I might catch you up! I am booked for a planned section on 15th April as I am now so huge that my consultant is worried about my scar rupturing from DS. At the last measure my bump was 48cm!!!

Cal - DS now has 16 teeth but doesn't say very much, everything is ttill "da da" or dack dack (quack quack!)

Stacey - so sorry to hear about your horrid x-h and for poor DD when he doesn't turn up

Well, now on mat leave again! First 2 weeks are hols, then mat pay kicks in. 8 days til section day too Hoping that I manage to make it and not like last time, my waters won't go some time today!

KaybeeandZak · 10/04/2008 16:30

Wow Podglet, the race is on to see who's first! But seriously, I hope you are hanging in there, it must be scary worrying that you're going to pop - literally
No twinges or anything here... sigh...... I hope I am not in for a repeat of last time

podglet · 13/04/2008 09:31

Yup, still hanging in there - feels weird, am now 37+2 and DS was born at 37! 2 days to go...! Have avoided fresh pineapple like the plague this time...

saralou · 13/04/2008 14:27

KaybeeandZak · 16/04/2008 22:15

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 17/04/2008 20:35

Hello thought I'd breeze by and see who is here still - glad someone is - hope you are all well and happy. Yaro is running riot at the moment (literally) he just can't seem to keep still and gets really cross if you question his independance (eg try to help him get his breakfast to the table without spilling it. You can tell I'm a first time mum - it's caught be my surprise. Have a fantastic new piccy but can't remember how to get on my profile.

ANyhow - I've been dragged into the world of facebook - still not sure what to make of it.

Have fun everyone

She's here! Elizabeth Jeanette Sheila Hull arrived on 15th April at 11.51 am weighing a healthy 7lb 10.5 oz

She is gorgeous, spitting image of DS when he arrived.

Planned section a dream, so much better than the trauma with DS.

Pictures tomorrow. Hoping all goes well Kaybee, eat some fresh pineapple, am convinced that's what set me off with DS.

KaybeeandZak · 17/04/2008 22:33

ok a couple of pics up now

dh goes back to work mon, how am i gonna cope with 2 kids????????????????

saralou · 07/05/2008 16:25

kaybee chick, you need to make your profile page public!

you'll be fine, honestly, once you find your feet and work out what your doing... i think back to the days when ds2 was new... so much easier!

my best advice to coping with 2 littlies... a sling for baby!! i miss the sling days!
