smb - anything usually settle him at times like this??

i think this will be c's last week in our room. i think tho that i may go into her nursery and kip on the futon in there for a while or am i being a total saddo???????

weeonion · 04/11/2007 21:51

norma - love that idea. how much is the pinafore???

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:51

wo, he's not really unsettled, not upset, just wide awake! Maybe a drop of brandy in his bottle?

octo · 04/11/2007 21:52

I let ernie into bed with me most nights last week - but seems happy back in his cot at home and only woke once last night

My 4 year old has started waking up at 5am and shouting 'daddy' full pitch to wake the whole house which is even more hideous

weeonion · 04/11/2007 21:53

smb - or at least pour yourself a stiff one!

octo · 04/11/2007 21:53

Have you tried just putting him down in cot? (may be obvious/asked before but just curious!)

OP posts:
octo · 04/11/2007 21:54

pnarff

normabutty · 04/11/2007 21:54

It's usually £10 for the pinafore and £10 for the nappy, but she does the set for £18. I'm paying £22 total - £18 for the set, £2 to have bamboo velour on the inside of the nappy and £2 p&p.

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 21:57

wo, why do you still want to sleep with C? Is it worry or just easier? (Sorry, not judging, just curious, but couldn't think of a better way to phrase it!)
octo, I have in the past oput him down when he looks tired and he's slept, haven't really thought of trying it tonight as he seems so awake, might give it a go if he's still awake after his next feed - I'll let you know!!)

weeonion · 04/11/2007 21:59

smb - i guess it is just worry. she is till in her hammock which doesnt take up that much room in our bedroom. her nursry is rigth next door to us - so not too far away. i dunno - it just feels better for me - for a while at least. havtn broken the news to dp as yet

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 22:01

i love sleeping with T, not an option tho unless dh away or we sleep downstairs on the floor
Is she getting too big for the hammock? If it's worry then it sounds as though you're doing the right thing.

weeonion · 04/11/2007 22:04

nay - she bounces away happily in the hammock so another while in it.

NorthernLurker · 04/11/2007 22:52

Gosh am getting a bit confused about which thread to post on but have gone for this one as I have a girl who is very into rolling now - and may set off commando style any day - her big sister did! B is still in our room - and will be for some time as we don't have any other rooms to put her in She spends most of the night in her cot but I have no hesitation in bringing her in bed with me if its cold or I'm too tired to do otherwise! I'm not planning on anymore and I want to enjoy this.

octo · 04/11/2007 22:54

I am off to bed

Will catch up again soon xxxx

SharpMolarBear · 04/11/2007 23:10

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/11/2007 23:11

octo · 04/11/2007 23:13

I am going now! Been talking school xmas fairs! Sad I know (much sadder than nappies)

OP posts:
octo · 04/11/2007 23:14

My friend went out with pampers as breast pads the other week as she had such strong let down - NICE!!!

OP posts:
octo · 04/11/2007 23:23

And on a final good night note - have just remembered have only waxed one of my legs

OP posts:
PeshaCake · 04/11/2007 23:28

Wo - if its what you want to do and it makes you happy then do it. Babies grow up so quick, dont waste the time doing what you think you should just enjoy it however you want!

And ive just realised i didnt refresh before posting this so aplologies for all x posts this was about wo wanting to sleep in room with c!

D is still in moses basket by my bed but the rate hes just started growing i think prob not for much longer

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/11/2007 23:28

pmsl
weekends are just not the same without an octo hit

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/11/2007 23:31

can I please confess that I always thought Octo was a bit tree-hugger/domestic goddess like
but then I met her and the illusion was quickly shattered

elkiedee · 05/11/2007 00:06

Hi again and goodnight all, I missed out on a whole flurry of posting. Really, this post is just so I can find out which thread to join in on in the morning, or whenever. I have lots of phone calls to make tomorrow...

Maveta · 05/11/2007 06:29

weeonion · 05/11/2007 08:12
