I Love in the night garden - it reminds me of kids tv I used to watch. like bagpuss and that. I make s watch it.
Somehow, I imagined iggle piggle pjs to be like a dressing up outfit - making your lo look like iggle piggle. now how cool would that be?!

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 22:24

IKWYM...I wanted iggle piggle pj's to be dressing up themed too. But they are not. They are a bit cheap looking, with iron on type photo pictures. But...I think he twigged what he was wearing!

Mothercare sell pirate pj's which come with an eye patch! They are like proper dressing up style pjs.

I love watching ITNG (in the night garden) its my half an hours of sitting down with LO whilst he has his milk and I have a cuppa, before bedtime and me doing dinner etc. Its when I can zone out!

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 22:28

ps - feeling very pious and pleased with myself this evening. DP out with mates on a birthday thing (dreading his state when he gets home!)
We have friends coming for lunch tomorrow, and since leaving MN at 9pm ish, I have made the mother of all lasagne's and washed the kitchen floor, and my kitchen is sparkling clean.

Big gold star for me...

Have also eaten 2 x bakewell tarts....not so good. I couldnt help it...it was my reward...and they were calling me..."eat me, eat me..."

Am knackered now.
Off to bed.
See ya xxx

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 22:30

pirate pj's

how good are these! (wish they made them in my size!)

bunnyhunny · 24/11/2007 22:32

lizz - you wash the kitchen floor?!?!? are you meant do?! lol
congrats on getting everything sorted - you can chill out now with a beer and know you don't have to do anything!

sooooo excited about pirate pjs We were waiting for a flight once in stansted, and we saw scooby dressing-up-style pjs. for a 10 yr old. now I am rather small, and was tempted to buy them for myself

theUrbanDryad · 24/11/2007 22:55

arrrrgh arrrrrgh!!

just spent over an hour getting Z to sleep and dh has trampled up the stairs like 10 herds of elephants and woken him up. not impressed. he can fucking sort Z out. i'm sick of the pair of them.

bunnyhunny · 24/11/2007 23:00

ud - buy them pirate pjs. that;ll sort them out.

walkinginaWILKIEwonderland · 25/11/2007 08:55

UD/Mrs C ? nasty cughs. Hop they are feeling better. J has a cough at night which keeps waking him up ? but it disappears during the day

Dragon ? J sleeps in a vest, sleepsuit and fleece sleepsuit. Am gonna start putting a fleece banket on him in preparation for getting him used to a duvet. HTH!

Oh yes, that brings me on to a Q!! If it has been a cold night, J?s lips go blue and take about two hours to go pink. Is this normal??????

Jodie ? congrats on your qualification but bummer about illness.

Trapped J?s finger in a canister at mums and he SOBBED. I cried too ? felt awful.

Vino ? congrats on job!! Clever lady! You are inspiring me to look for something else.

Bunny ? we have the Britax Renaissance car seat (2nd hand) and J has been in it for about 3 months (since he hit 20lb)

????.of fuck it. I can?t keep up with the chat ? sorry!

J has had the most horrendous diahorrea since Thurs morning (he started with it at mums.). He is totally well within himself and happy/eating/drinking but has awful nappies. Am gonna take him to GP tomorrow.

DH is very fed up at the moment with his job (or lack of finding a head pro job). He?s really down and considering leaving the profession but says because he has dedicated 16 years of his life to golf and has paid £5k to do his degree in it that he just doesn?t know WHAT he would do. I?m getting a bit worries if I am honest

eandh · 25/11/2007 09:15

morning wilkie

Hope J is ok could be more teeth???
Are there any agencies that deal with sports jobs? Hope you enjoyed your time at your mums and odnt worry aout trapping fingers I stood on hatties with my boots on

Hattie has developed a new thing, I say 'give Mummy love' and she snuggles into my shoulder and strokes my face, although dh said it to her this morning and she whacked him round the face (I couldnt help laughing ) had a funny night hattie kept crying but was fast asleep so I kept getting up but didnt actually have to do anything, ellie got up at 6am but we ignored her and she went back to her room and played till 7am when hattie woke so mini lie in for us. DH just having shower and then we are going to 'hell on earth' aka Bluewater on a sunday morning few weeks before xmas

MrsCarrot · 25/11/2007 11:16

Thanks for the mothercare links eah ill shall be in there next week.

Wilks hope j is better soon and thanks for the email on facebook it made my day .

My little girl is poorly at the moment full of cold and chesty cough

bunnyhunny · 25/11/2007 15:17

wilkie - coughs do get worse at night. it's to do with lying down and the musous collecting in the lungs. when J is more upright in the daytime, it kinda drains iyswim. I've lived with asthma all my life, and get loads of chest infections. they are ALWAYS worse at night.

dh and his mum are having a 'chat'. she called this morning, and (to fill you all in, she never contacts us except near his or her dds birthdays, no christmas card / birthday cards or phone calls last year, has seen S 2 times but lives in a town near my dad who visits weekly) he spoke his mind to her about her being crap. he said come and sort it out or I will cut you out of our lives. amazingly, she actually got off her arse to come up. hope it all goes ok for him

vinorouge · 25/11/2007 19:15

Catching up on the weekend chat while I watch strictly results. DH cooking our tea and can't wait cos I am hungry!

Ellen has been poorly this weekend and not eating, sleeping all the time. Ok in herself though so lets see if she snaps out of it. She is at mums overnight so out of our way until tomorrow evening. Hhmm hope that doesn;t sound like I am glad tobe rid of her! Glad to be having an evening of not having to think for her IYKWIM.

Had a lovely weekend meeting my cousins 14 month dd for first time, seeing friends and their twind today over lunchtime and then a quick hour visit to my friend who now lives up the road (and will be my new neighbour when we move). Seeing her new house made me excited!

Bought my secret santa present, wrapped adn ready to post now. Its th eonly thing that is bought and wrapped!

RGee · 25/11/2007 19:26

Tired....so tired......
UD I'm a bit pi$$ed off with DH today, although as ever am the picture of serence under control (sure that's not good for you). Had to strip bedclothes last night from P being sick due to too much coughing, then she was awake screaming from 4 - 5m . Meanwhile, DH staying out after night out wioth the lads. Comes home at 9am (bacuase P is ill he decided to forgo his bacon butty and head straight home - how kind ) then goes straight to bed . So I hoovered, put lots of washing on, dishwasher on, prepared roast dinner for inlaws, then I heard DH clanking about upstairs and go up to find him cleaning the bathroom. Think he felt guilty. But WHY do men have to go and get so hammered then go to bed after 3am when they know they will be pretty much useless the next day. Grrr..... Rant over. Lovely havving the il's over, and P slept most of the day so was much cheerier by this afternoon. I have a sore throat though so hope it is just through general tiredness and not anything else.

MrsC very about Dorothy slippers.

Hi PCF. Got my letter from the revenue yesterday.

Bunny / Lizz we have to waash the kitchen floor now P is crawling. Otherwise she just tries to pick up all the crap / ends up with cat fluff knees etc. I can't get away with my dark floor anymore!

(Tired) at Wilkie. Blue lips sound a bit strange.

EaH did you buy anythng today?

Don't have the energy to chat anymore. Catch you alter....Later.

Lizzzombie · 25/11/2007 19:27

Hello - DP is watching Strictly Come Dancing as he is addicted to it (closet !)

Re. fingers, I actually bit one of DJ's the other day. He howled. I couldnt believe I had done it, I've been saying for ages how I would eat him up...and now I have actually started to....must get some more biscuits in!

Lizzzombie · 25/11/2007 19:29

Rgee - DP went out last night, and festered in bed till 11am this morning whilst I prepared house for friends coming for lunch etc. I was not a happy girl! But, a big lunch and seaside walk made him perk up a bit! He hasnt touched a drop of alcohol all day though!

Lizzzombie · 25/11/2007 19:37

How funny are all those laughing babies - there are tons of them, they are so cute!

Good link!

eandh · 25/11/2007 19:50

I will be moaning next weekend as DH has his christmas work do when as normal he 'wont be late home'

Rgee/Vin Hope lo's are on the mend

I didnt buy anything for myself or the girls today (did get a birthday present for osmeone though)it was hellish really really busy, hot and arrrghhh is the only way I can describe it, Ellie and I went to ELC and Disney and DH rang after 40mins to say he was done so met him back at the car.

went to il's for dinner (yawn) and I have christmas cards next to me on sofa have written about 1/4 of them but its so boring and tedious hence I popped on here
