Well can do shopping with hattie but to much effort with both they have started charging for parking there now (skinflint mode as used to be free!)

I dont mind driving as have my mate tom tom in the car and he is fab (although ellie says his name is dave) and the beach occupies ellie so we'd actually have chance to talk!!

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:31

duh I was talking about the outlet centre at ashford (mcarthur glen?) but can do ashford as well!!

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:33

EAH - I have wrapped several presents.

This is completely unheard of for me and I thought of you while I was doing it. At this rate I will be done by December.

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:37

I checked the sizes as well (was trying to remember if alex was 4 or 5!)

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:38

LOL ( I neeeeeeeeded them too!)
Bhs are supposed to be selling them too, but I couldnt find any. The mothercare I work in only had about 3 sets in last week. I would ring first to check they have them in stock.
There was one pair left today, I think it was 2-3 yrs. What ages do you want and I will keep an eye out for you.

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:38

well done Mrs C (round of applause) and remember keep going and think how stress free you'll be mid december because it'll all be done

MrsCarrot · 24/11/2007 20:39

What on earth is iggle piggle?

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:41

he is from 'In the night garden' hattie just zones out if its on the tv but ellie hates it. Hattie takes iggle piggle and upsy daisy to bed with her every night (as well as her muslin with the frayed edges which she will not be parted from)

Grown up info about in the night garden (can you tell how bored i am hence lots of links)

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:48

My BIL saw a programme on how it was educational etc, and helped develop speech. But I really can't see how. Its all made up language. I guess its about intination?

V. pleased they mention the Wottingers on that article though. They get a bum deal. No song, never a mention unless its the Pontipines waving at them, and they don't even get a 'goodnight' Its a travesty.

Yes, I am addicted to In the night garden. [hangs head in shame] !

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:50

I have some sky+ for when ellie at preschool and I want to get on with something I put hattie in front of the tv with an episode on and she doesnt move [BLUSH] (well sometimes she'll crawl to go and get her igglepiggle and upsydaisy toys)

MrsCarrot · 24/11/2007 20:50

Ah, yes, I have heard of that programme. I think DD has been on it on the computer. Are there, tombliboos, or something?

I am trying to wrap as things arrive. Every year, I sit there wrapping on Christmas eve and this year I am determined to be finished and be relaxing with a drink. Oh yes.

I got Dorothy ruby slippers for DD from America. They were cheaper there evn with postage and I've dropped them at the cobbbers for an extra heel (they are flat)and I will stick big gems on the bows so they sparkle more. I hope she likes them.

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:54

I want some dorothy slippers.
I saw some Patrick Cox ones which I would kill for. But they are over £200.

Not going to happen!

Oh god, I forgot about that voucher too.

Where is it?

eandh · 24/11/2007 21:00

No letter here yet!

MrsC that sounds great - mate is flying home from America as we speak with the cinderella dress and accessories in her luggage!

I put hatties ctf in the family invesmtent equity and ellies is in brittania cash ctf but we save for them in bradford and bingley childrens accounts so they can have their ctf's when they hit 18 and spend it

eandh · 24/11/2007 21:02

think you can get duplicates mrs c (I forgot to say I wrap e and h's presents in different paper so no muddles on xmas day ellie has disney princess xmas paper(surprise) and hattie has winnie the poo and friends) all other children have father christmas paper and all adults have silver/purple design paper
