its a month and a day away and because she is so damn excited about it I have let ellie have her little tree out and she is currently 'decorating' it (its a pink (obviously) 2ft tree with silver decorations but we are going to matalan later as they have disney princess decorations ) good news is shes been doing since 7am and hasnt moaned/asked me for help etc so this may amuse her for the morning )

bunnyhunny · 24/11/2007 19:41

hi eah
I'm bored too!
got the new car seat, and S wailed and wailed as we were strapping him in. then we drove off and he was gobsmacked, looking out of the window, our of the front! He never knew the car could be so interesting.
we went down town and it was horrible - so many people and they do NOT get out of the way of the buggy. At one point we waited a good few minutes to get through a doorway.
So, after dh's attack-is-the-best-from -of-defence buggy steering, i took S out and let him walk with us, v-e-r-y slowly down the shop aisle. Ha! next time, they'll get out of the way for a buggy [evil
grin emoticon]

eandh · 24/11/2007 19:56

awww bless him with the car seat life is so much more interesting with a window to look out of.

I know exactly what you mean about buggy rage I find it even more annoying now as ellie tends to start walking through door and I shout fishwife style for her to come back!! The other thing is people dont hold doors so you end up struggling pushing a door and pulling bugy through and my last moan all the bloody shops are to hot so lo gets all annoyed in buggy as they are trustled up in coat etc.

DH wants to go to Bluewater first thing in the morning to get my xmas present 'nice' was my thought huge shopping centre, grumpy dh and 2 kids although he is taking hattie in the buggy and I'll take ellie to the disney shop I can guarantee dh will be 45minutes shopping absolute maximum

bunnyhunny · 24/11/2007 20:06

buggy rage - so true!
I can't imagine what it's like when your lo goes out of the shop without you. I thin k I would shove everyone out of the way to get to him!
and I agree - noone holds open doors (I tend to say 'thankyou' rather loud when they don't - I think I'm a bit of an angry person ) and it is WAY too hot iside shops - its too hot for me, so I hate to think what its like for S in his winter coat.

goodluck at bluewater with the lo's . I had an funny turn in IKEA there (or lakeland?)- we bought lots of crap, there were massive queues and too much stuff and christmas lights and I was pregnant, and they didnt even have the chairs we were after and I massively lost it and started ranting and raving, and then we dumped everything and ran away.

me and christmas shopping don't get on

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:12

LOL!
Try living in Gods Waiting Room (Eastbourne) people are so slow they go backwards here...or so rude it makes my blood boil. I just keep telling myself "they'll be dead soon" and taking deep breathes!

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:12

ikea is at lakeside lakeland at bluewater

I remember being foul last christmas everyone annoyed me and and shopping with bump and toddler made me in fact I think I at work one day just before my maternity leave started and just literally moaned for 7 hours they were so lovely to me and just nodded and let me moan away! Actually thinking about it its about this time last year that I ended up being in and out of hospital with bleeding/fainting I vivdly remember dh being at his xmas do rolling in at 3am (in fact me and ellie had to go and get him in car at 2.50 and he was far to pissed and ellie was awake when he rang so the ride in the car made her sleep) and at 8.30 I started bleeding so we ended up in hospital

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:13

OMG! Your DP made you come and get him with Ellie, at 3am?! I hope he brought you a MASSIVE xmas presents. I would have gone ballistic over that!

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2007 20:14

ps - re. your earlier mothercare posts. I brought Iggle Piggle big boy pyjamas from there last week. And he looks soooooo cute in them! (almost as cute as he does in his little santa outfit!)

bunnyhunny · 24/11/2007 20:19

ooh I can't imagine how angry I would get pregnant AND with a toddler .
lizz -pmsl at they'll be dead soon. I can imagine saying it like a mantra as you go down town!

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:23

no i went to get him to make sure he was home I wouldnt have woken ellie to go but as she was awake I knew the car would make her go back to sleep (he has to go past mates house to get to ours and he normally goes in and crashes out till late morning maybe a sixth sense that I 'd need him home that morning!) although think he spent the morning at the hospital drinking coffee and snoozing on chair and when they said they were keeping me in I sent him home (was irritating me) he went to my Mum and Dads (ellie was there) and had sunday roast and slept there for the night (so if he needed to get to hospital ellie was already with someone!)

eandh · 24/11/2007 20:25

Just talking to dh and he says eastbourne is only an hour away in the car so next summer me, ellie and hattie may have to come and visit the beach and you lizz
