Glad you are feeling more Eddas!

I haven't had a break from P since she was born either SOL - not bloody likely to get one either. 6 months of constantly having a dependant baby in the vicinity - good grief, that is scary.

In answer to your Q, BWI - Yes, the Chistmas presents thing does inc the children - they are all too little to really "get" Christmas so we haven't bothered to buy them anything - they get lots from family etc anyway. Not sure we will get away with that this year for DD1 though - Planning on getting them a few stocking bits (about £10 ish each, probably.) That is it. Meanie mummy that I am!

busywithIzzy · 27/10/2007 23:18

No not meanie mummy Dippy, I just wondered. sorry for being nosey I know what you mean though, Jake always gets loads from the family and it's really too much for one day. I often hide presents and bring them out a few weeks later.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 27/10/2007 23:18

I don't do christmas pressies either, as Dippy says, they get so much from other people there really is no need (even in my somewhat disjointed family )

I buy things for M during the year instead but this year I will be using my Tesco vouchers to get a subscription to Cbeebies magazine for him, he loves it and I find it a really good one for sitting down to do things with him.

Great idea Pillock. I think you're both right, although I couldn't not do a stocking for Jake...but don't much, just a few bits that he needs anyway.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 27/10/2007 23:23

see I'm rubbish at stockings, I don't really 'get' christmas myself, so M has a stocking with pressies from family in it. I think he probably has a 'proper' one at daddy's house, in fact, I know he does because when I met his dad (I was 18, he was 21) his mum still made us stockings
