......me....but i should be packing or ironing or something

LittleMissNorty · 17/10/2007 19:08

me too...but I'm gonna go and cook dinner now...did you get your refund?

I got my M&S stuff Daisy....my fave item was damaged and had to go back ...they are pretty useless for up-to-date stock situations...

IamDaisy · 17/10/2007 19:15

am v pissed off with them and won't be ordering from them again.....you'd think someone the size of M&S would have their website linked to ther stock, wouldn't you (says she not knowing how any of these things work, but needs to find out)

HellHathNoFury · 17/10/2007 19:18

No still no refund and owe 2000 on credit cards and have no money arrrgghhhhhhh!

andiem · 17/10/2007 19:29

am off to have tea and vv early night will catch up tomorrow

LittleMissNorty · 17/10/2007 19:38

Yeah I agree Daisy....I've had problems with them in the past...but you can get some real bargains...

What time are you off tomorrow Daisy? Is DS going to school...all my nephews and nieces finish tomorrow...teacher training day on Friday...Yeah RIGHT! I'm in the wrong job methinks!!

LittleMissNorty · 17/10/2007 19:42

The air is VERY blue in my lounge....how DD is slepping through it, I don't know

Scotland not doing very well then I take it????

upsyderlor · 17/10/2007 19:43

hellooooooo
i'm here too now.
dd1 - bathed in pj's watching Maggie and the ferrocious beast
dd2 bathed, fed, asleep in bed
Ds - watching TV (but he can bath and pj himself later
DH at pub watching football - WHY?????? we've got a freekin TV here

i've also just packed for me and the kiddlies as we are off to my sisters tomorrow morning for a couple of days. (DH working so he not coming) we are going to go to Edinburgh zoo on friday and we are all excited (clearly I don't get out much )

upsyderlor · 17/10/2007 19:45

oh dear no, they not doing very well, Scotland losing 2-0 to Geo???? (whoever they are)

dogtanian · 17/10/2007 19:58

Grrrr....has anyone got any orders on Tesco.com? I want to add something to my basket and it won't let me access it.

I wasn't impressed with the M&S delivery times, so I went into the store. Everything I had seen online was in the shop, so I just bought it there and then! I shan't be using their online service, ever!

Hope the Scottish Dhs aren't too upset. My dp is not upset about England losing. He sort of wants them to lose so Maclaren gets sacked!

riabutterflew · 17/10/2007 20:05

thanks derlor & andiem

We're not leaving till after 3 tomorrow. The latest check in time for the ferry is 7:30pm and it leaves at 9:00pm.

DS not at school tomorrow at all and we have booked a day off for him on Friday. Tomorrow is Target Setting Day and they have parent/teacher meetings all day. Ours is at 11:15.

I've just got DS to bed; to say he is rather excited is a bit of an understatement.

Sputnik · 17/10/2007 21:06

I bet he's going to love sleeping on the ferry. Hope you have a good crossing and a fab time

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 21:17

Banana hunt is addictive. I am champion in this house - 62 best score so far.

HellHathNoFury · 17/10/2007 21:18

Night all.

Have a good trip Daisy

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 21:21

LMN - I am a teacher. Tallulah storms off in big huff!!!!!!

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 21:21

.....to find more bananas.

riabutterflew · 17/10/2007 21:37

Couldnt face moving L to her own room and cot - I just want one more night with her next to me.

and have just had the phone put down on me when I was talking to my ex about the Spanish holiday. I was willing to discuss, but for him it was the money or nothing. So Im gonna be the bad Mum who wont pay

He thinks because I live in a big house I must be loaded and my DP can pay. When I asked if he pays for his SD's he said that he couldnt hear me and that the line was breaking!!
Sorry, I could go on and on and as I said before, you're only seeing a snapshot and it really is quite involved - but at the end of the day Daddy is the good guy

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 21:43

Good score Ria - I am beating DH that's all that matters.

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 21:46

JBM. What a difficult situation. Hopefully DD will understand.

riabutterflew · 17/10/2007 21:48

I WILL beat him if it kills me

JMB. its hard to be the "evil" one all the time, especially when money is at the root of the situation. It's not much of a consolation now, but we are hoping that as DHs kids get adult lives they will realise a few things that aren't and can't be obvious to them as kids. IYSWIM. Hang in there.

Thanks for your words - Im off now (expecting a sarcastic text at an ungodly hour - think I'll turn my phone off)
night x

IamDaisy · 17/10/2007 22:17

aaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh.....I need some help in travelling light! I want to take all of DDs lovely clothes, and lots of mine...

and DH and I have just spent 15 mins bickering about shoes....he says there's no room for my high heel boots (in case we actually get half dressed up for dinner) and thinks my wedge heel boots (casual) will do...does the man know nothing about ladies and their shoes. I know that my wedge boots will be OK with my smart trousers, but it's not the point. smart clothes need smart shoes or I just don't feel like I'm properly dressed.

I've tried to reason with him...he says we've got the same number of pairs of shoes....I say pound for pound mine weigh less so I can have extra ones in; he's not convinced.....

IamDaisy · 17/10/2007 22:22

oh jbm, I posted that without refreshing my screen from earlier

here's me worrying about shoes and there are much more important things going on. It must be very difficult to be in that situation and I don't know what to suggest. All I have is some virtual {{{{{hugs}}}}} I'm afraid.

Tallulah, I've been chatting to weeonion quite a bit on the BF boards....she's going to come and meet with us at Christmas if she can
