teabag007 · 17/10/2007 15:07

IwansMam · 17/10/2007 15:08

Teabag its far worse I live with a Welshman! I'm English, which DP just about copes with providing I don't bring England shirts into the house.

HellHathNoFury · 17/10/2007 15:25

Afternoon girls ...just a quickie...glad Foxy's DS done OK....sure they're all feelinh much better now!

DD had some fruit today...pureed pear and she loved it....mouth opened very wide.....much better than baby rice! She only had a teeny bit though!

Right back later.....Scotland on tele tonight so I get to MN and some some bananas ...I didn't find a single one this morning

LittleMissNorty · 17/10/2007 15:56

Ria - meant to say about DS1 today....have you spoken to him? Is it still other kids provoking him? Hope you get it sorted!

JBM - make her dad pay for the bloody holiday and tell her he said he would pay for it!

LittleMissNorty · 17/10/2007 15:57

find some bananas obviously...I am educated...honestly

HellHathNoFury · 17/10/2007 16:04

I still only have 1 banana, on my desk. Looking marginally less green as the day progresses.

It remains uneaten, as I gorged on sushi at lunch.

ARSE...I think my mobile phone has been hacked into

I took a call this morning from a foreign number (I have friends all over the place so didn't think anything of it) but it was a wrong No. Since then it has rung three or four times fror a coplu of rings then stopped. When I went to use the phone, I noticed that on the call log there were four foreign numbers which apart from the first one, are all outgoing calls to +90 wherever the fuck that is. I called vodafone, who were less then helpful as calls only show on their computer system after two or three days. His suggestion was to keep my phone switched off and to call back in two days....from Belgium, when it will cost a bloody fortune. ARSE ARSE and triple ARSE.

and babyboo hasn't slept all day, she is screaming herself ragged and Ds has had a major meltdown on the way home from school.

and I still haven't finished my packing cos I can't put the baby down!!

riabutterflew · 17/10/2007 16:10

it is still down to the bullying, just unfortunately someone uninvolved got in the way. I have been and apologised to another boys mum. after the initial reaction the rest of the situation was self-defence. it doesn't excuse it but at least it explains it.
He has got worse since he was put in an anger management group for a very small outburst (when he was being picked on) last year. The school nurse is referring him to CAMS(?) but I don't know what that is.
We are making him write an account of what happened so DH can take it with him when he sees the head and class teacher tomorrow.
AAArrgh, kids!

Ria, are the school doing anything to stop the bullying?

I feel for you all, it must be awful to deal with, especially poor DS who seems to come off badly at all ends.

Your DH reaigns supreme on the banan finding...I thought I did well getting 71 (a fluke never to be repeated)

upsyderlor · 17/10/2007 16:49
Angry
riabutterflew · 17/10/2007 16:50

I am not addicted to mumsnet, I am addicted to banana hunt

I did think they were dealing with the bullying, maybe not. there seems to be communication problems.

I don't think I'll bother working there any more, I was only doing it cos it keeps my CRB up to date. It's not worth the stress and it's obviously not helping DS1 as I thought it would.

Ria i've been trying to say to you this.......
i'm sorry but i don't know what CAMS is i googled it for you but just found porn sites
i thought maybe: childs anger management sessions ?????????

andiem · 17/10/2007 17:30

hi ladies camhs is child and adolescent mental health service sorry your ds is having such a hard time ria the camhs people are normally excellent

had another terrible night with lo he was up at 12 2, 4,5 and 6 really hoping is just a growth spurt he is 4 months on sun feel really crap am desperate to hold off with the waeaning and a bit like you derlor don't want anyone else to feed him

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 17:38

Teabag - our flights are over 2 1/2 grand with qantas. Glas- Lon-Sing-Adel. About 400 for LO (she flies free but have to pay taxes). Emirates & Singapore were cheaper but not hugely so & the times of qantas flights just suited us much better cos of lo.

TALLULAHSPELL · 17/10/2007 17:48

Poor Ria - sounds hellish. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

Don't think yabu JBM but a tricky one to deal with. If its smth you can't afford & her aunt so keen to take her can't she pay & you give spending money. Or say you would rather spend the money on taking her away yourself since you don't get to see her as much as you'd like.

upsyderlor · 17/10/2007 17:56

oh clever andiem, i knew you'd know what it stood for.
JBM - meant to say earlier, YANOTBU!!! i'm confused if her aunt wants to take her to spain then why should you pay anything???? If she can't afford to take her to Spain then why invite her???
is it just me that doesn't get it AIBU???

upsyderlor · 17/10/2007 17:57

ok time to bath and bed DD2....later x

HellHathNoFury · 17/10/2007 19:02

lurking and lonely.... anyone out there?

IamDaisy · 17/10/2007 19:04

bloody marks and spencer.

I got an e-mail yesterday saying my order had been dispatched but two of the items would be dispatched later.

I got another e-mail today saying the items would not be delivered sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for shopping with M&S. Twunts...if the items were out of stock, why did it even let me order them in the first place
