a good likeness!

Cut her hair short, and then whck her around a bit. Maybe he'll be off sick for a few days and I can enjoy the atmosphere without him.

Hi Elsbells, re napping at work, the office next to mine was shared bt 2 blokes. One admits, since having left the job, that he woke up from a doze one afternoon, looked round rather embaressed and saw his office mate napping too, so he closed the office door, closed his eyes again and ...

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 15:25

Fury, i was just thinking, I remember what it is like to work in a boring mindless job. Before i started my current job I was temping doing data entry and it was awful. I would try and stretch the time out by saying to myself "if i can just get to 2pm i can go and get a cup of tea." It was soul destroying. Doing a crappy shop job almost better coz the time goes quicker.

HellHathNoFury · 24/10/2007 15:26

Bumper....yip.
I feel like I am waiting to die.

Bring on home time.

I almost want to go find random people on MSN to talk to.

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 15:27

Though when i worked at the university and had my own office one of the techies would download simpsons episodes for me to watch!

HellHathNoFury · 24/10/2007 15:33

I want my own office!!!!
Then I can catch up with desperate housewives.

foxystein · 24/10/2007 15:40

I have RAGE.

Not just RAGE but MATERNAL RAGE.

Just got back from the hospital to have DS1s catheter and bag removed. I have never, ever heard anyone scream like he, let alone my own poor baby. He screamed so hard the capillaries around his eyes seem to have burst and he has red dots around them. DS1 rarely cries infront of anyone else, let alone go off like that. He barely made a noise or showed any distress last week.

The stupid fucking dr was not meant to take the fucking dressing off. Imagine having sellotape wound around your penis then pulled off. You soak it off. You stupid fucking woman.

Even I knew to suggest "can't he have a long bath when he gets home?"

My poor, poor boy. Thankfully he is OK now, but it meant the surgeon couldn't have a look at it at the time.

And she told him to "shush".

foxystein · 24/10/2007 15:42

I AM SO MAD

Hi everyone, BTW.

Sorry.

Hope you are all ok.

But I really am livid!

HellHathNoFury · 24/10/2007 15:44

Foxy your poor boy, that sounds awful, I am suprised you didn't whack her one.
Give him a hug from me. Stupid arse doctors...often the nurses are so much better.
Is he ok now?

milkyJammy · 24/10/2007 16:05

Ouch foxy, that's got to smart! Poor DS, I hope he made twice as much noise when she told him to shush!

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 16:05

Fucking hell foxy, poor DS, you are right to be raging. Write a complaint letter, and tell DS we all think he is so brave. Oooh, I would have smacked her!

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 16:08

Bitch fucking whore cow face. I'm getting crosser by the minute just thinking about it!

milkyJammy · 24/10/2007 16:10

You should complain, but maybe when you're a little calmer?

milkyJammy · 24/10/2007 16:12

ooops, sorry it was Bumper not foxy turning the air blue. Sorry!

milkyJammy · 24/10/2007 17:07

LO is screaming the house down here. Had had to give calpol and bonjela as all i can think of is pain, possibly teething. Hope she calms down soon has been half hour solid screaming already

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 17:12

Yep, join the club. the only thing that stops her is pacing round the flat holding DD on her stomach. think she just likes the different view point!

Bumperlicious · 24/10/2007 17:13

I find turning the tv up and drinking a cup of tea helps a bit

milkyJammy · 24/10/2007 17:16

Yes this one likes a change of view now and then.

Am suspicious that after not hearing from the HV for ages she rings this pm, after I'd been on a health walk lead by a HV from a neighbouring practice, Has she passed on something I said? I feel like I've had tales told about me and it's not nice.

foxystein · 24/10/2007 17:36

I will be writing a letter for sure.

You don't leave a 5 year old lying on a bed with his trousers down, catheter and bag and tubes etc then walk out the room mumbling about finding something and leave the door wide open. Its basic courtesy. He's 5 FFS. If she knew ANYTHING about children.

Am still angry.

foxystein · 24/10/2007 17:37

Am going. I will return tomorrow.

Bye.

foxystein · 24/10/2007 17:39

well, later, cos DP is working tonight so I'll have a glass of wine and get bored.

That was me stomping in a rage I think!

LittleMissNorty · 24/10/2007 17:50

Fucking Hell Foxy....definately complain....that is NOT on

Poor little bugger

Write EVERYTHING down now while you can still remember it and write letter when you are a bit calmer.

Thank you, lovely ladies, for sharing my rage.

Am infinitely calmer now and have finished throwing things around. I have written my letter, and it will be sent tomorrow. I have asked we do not see her at his next clinic appointment.

He is having a lovely bath now. Bless him.

upsyderlor · 24/10/2007 19:29

yikes Foxy - did she deflate the balloon ie. take the water out with a syringe before pulling it out???????????
i have removed many catheters in my time from men, woman and children and NEVER had a reaction like that!!
