Sounds exciting!

feeling a bit better today, but so tired. LO's nap didn't last long, so might have to take her out for a walk in a bit to get her to sleep some more, otherwise I don't think we'll make it through the afternoon.

Fury make sure you are being kind to yourself, do you think you did too much last weekend?

Hi everyone. Am lurking.

foxystein · 23/10/2007 15:44

Hello Sputnik! [smile}

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 15:44

Fury, just want to check that you are ok. I'm the phone to farking BT vision. It still isn't working. They are tossers.

You ok now? Just having one of those days?

foxystein · 23/10/2007 15:50

"Come back and stay for gooooood this time. lalalaaaa"

Sputnik · 23/10/2007 15:53

Knew I could flush out a couple of dirty lurkers

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 15:54

oh, i'm not going anywhere foxy! Especially while my bt vision is broken!

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 15:56

Yeah, sorry bout the 'dirty sputnik, i'm lucky if i get a chance for a shower these days. usually a quick dip with the bub! Whatcha been buying then? keeping those alpaca farmers afloat? I'd love one as a pet, they are sooo cute!

Sputnik · 23/10/2007 16:01

I don't dare tell you when I last washed my hair.... actually i caan't even remember
Mybe I should just rub a bit of patchouli on it
Still resisting on the alpaca front. Filled my basket and am now deciding wht to delete.

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 16:05

We went to the alpaca farm near Penrith and they were at it like ... Well we now use the saying "at it like horny alpacas"

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 16:20

And I bought myself some black alpaca gloves. They were lush, but so hairy my hands looked like spiders. So much that I have been known to scare myself looking at my paws

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 16:23

Hello...

DD same today...snuffly and whinging every time a tissue goes near her nose so we've been doing lots of cuddling on the sofa....just watched 2nd episode of bring up baby....bloody hell that woman is an evil cow....don't think I'll be watching the rest.

God I still don't know what I'm going to have for dinner - I really must get off my arse and do something....got some sly comments last night about how all my meals are "quick and easy" FFS...I was every so slightly pissed off....

Blimey Holly....sounds like you had 3 kids to deal with over the weekend...

Soutnik..loved that website and when I found the English (doh...took me a while )...well bloody hell.....PMSL at the translation

Right, off to look "busy"

later x

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 16:24

Oops...Sputnik....sorry finger slipped

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 16:25

lol jammy!

sputnik, lord knows on how many internet sites I've got baskets filled up with stuff then closed the computer so I can't buy it!

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 16:33

LMN "quick and easy"? I'd let him starve after that comment, and leave him with DD and go out with some friends for dinner!

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 16:35

Can imagine you wouldn't be impressed LMN. I'd have something to say about that!

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 16:50

He was laughing as he said it, but I wasn't

Glad you see my side of it.....he thought I was over-reacting!

Well hope you are feeling better MJ....it can't be much fun looking after DD when you feel like shit....me & DD had a little snooze on the sofa this afternoon....but don't tell DH....perhaps I should have been in the kitchen !!!

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 16:54

OMG this is unreal....oh to have the choice....

So you lot....Who hasn't enrolled their new LO's in for school yet? And why not?

foxystein · 23/10/2007 16:55

So, LMN, are DH's meals 7 courses with refreshing sorbets inbetween?

Or, like my DP's, from the chippy on his nights?

Bloody hell! if someone cooked my dinner for me every night I'd be delighted.

these men ... ... don't know they're born ..

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 16:57

DH doesn't do cooking...he does DIY !!!

He couldn't wait for me to go into hospital to have DD....fish & chips night 1 and kebab night 2!

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 17:02

When I was working, at the bus stop one night, a single bloke was saying to some married ones how lucky they were that dinner was ready when they got home, and the house was clean etc. He said he wished he had a wife to look after him. I said I did too, but they just didn't get it.

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 17:04

That school thing was mad LMN. But reminded me I'm going to have to learn about the "new" school years (eg what age is year 1,2, 3 etc and I realise they aren't really "new" anymore, but I don't have a clue, they came in after I left school and have been in denial about them ever since)

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 17:06

Paul O'Grady is wearing a remembrance day poppy. Is it just me or is it a touch early still?

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 17:12

oh has everyone else rushed off to make delicious dinners?
