Woah...looking at that website and I got a whiff of patchouli oil!

dogtanian · 22/10/2007 22:37

Think of the poor llamas! If you don't buy lots of knitwear they will not be sheared and they will get hot and die. Does your dh want that on his conscience?

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 22:42

I think it is actually hand woveen armpit hair I like the plain stuff for myself, but DD has to have one of these.
Enough nappies already!

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 22:44

Good point about the llamas

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 22:53

And th baby needs one of these. I think ethnic looks good on los. But then I'm an old hippy
(alwys kpt weell away from the patchouli though, yuk)

Maybe I should offer them a swap for a decent translation into English, the eenglish version sounds like they did it with google

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 23:04

Yikes it's midnight. I'm off before I turn into a pumpkin.

Hi MHC. i said enough nappiees already

HellHathNoFury · 23/10/2007 08:00

Morning all.
Holly your DP sounds like an arse that night. I do hate a drunk bloke.
Having grown up with an alcoholic for a father I now verge on teetotal and DH has to if he wants to hang around!
Are you two ok now?

Bumperlicious · 23/10/2007 08:06

Morning fury, how are you doing?

I'm knackered again. these new tablets are making me wake up a lot in the night (which seems v counter productive), plus DD is on the second night of being in her crib and she isn't sleeping very soundly, combined with DH snoring (which doesn't usually disturb me, but if I am awake and he does it I just want to shove a pillow over his face!) and DD is waking at 5.30 still.

DD also fed/slept on me/fed from 7.30 till 9.30pm yesterday as well as only sleeping on the breast during the day so from 5.30am till 9.30pm I literally had no time to myself!

Ah, whinge whinge whinge! Sorry!

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 08:48

Knackered here too, after DD woke for a feed at one-flippin'-thitry! And again at 6.15. Bah!

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 09:03

Few growth spurts going on by the sounds of it!

I really don't know if I would hear DD now if she woke up as I'm so used to going through ...perhaps she wakes and I don't know?

Think I'm getting her cold now...oh great

HellHathNoFury · 23/10/2007 09:08

fuck fuck fuckety fuck

Sorry ladies I am not going to be a very good friend today I have just been crying in the bloody office, how embarrassing

I just feel like shit, I am ill, tired, lonely, unappreciated and depressed and it just came out!

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 09:11

Big hugs to you Fury.
I've cried in the office at work (in my previous job at least) - it is embaressing, but sometimes it does help to let it all out. Hope things pick up for you, and you can always come here to whinge/let of steam in the meantime

LittleMissNorty · 23/10/2007 09:14

Oh Fury....you need some "me" time....have you got a quiet weekend coming up? Can you have a few days off work?

Elsbells · 23/10/2007 09:15

Morning ladies...

MotherHC if you are around great advice. I guess the age gap doesn't really matter. There will always be some issue. I am 33 right now and have said to myself and DH that I do want 3 DC by 36 or so. After that I want to take a break from being pg, raise my DC's and maybe enjoy some adult time in my 40's. Well that is the plan anyway.

Bumper I think you are doing a stellar job BF. I was happy and unhappy constantly for 3 1/2 months with DD for a variety of reasons and tbh, when I stopped I was still unhappy so now part of me wishes I had continued. I had a cry about it Fri night. Enjoy your time BF with your DC. It will be the only time you will have one on one time. Once another DC comes along it is a whole new balancing act.

Fury, how's the diet. I wake up thinking of food. Mmmmmm

Elsbells · 23/10/2007 09:18

oh Fury just x'd posts.
Hope you are ok.

Don't worry about crying in the office.
When I went back to work after DS a couple yrs ago I burst into tears in the middle of the sales floor one day. And they are mainly young media type males. Ugh

What you need is some rest and relaxtion. Maybe take a bath with DS tonight when you get home? Have a cuddle?

Elsbells · 23/10/2007 09:47

ohh guess no one is around or is there a secret june thread somewhere else?

will check in later
x

HellHathNoFury · 23/10/2007 09:57

I am here but am busy at work atm and can't type else I will get in trouble!

Sputnik · 23/10/2007 10:30

We apreciate you hun xxx (((hugs)))

I have been posting on this thread for exactly a year now. Yes I am sad enough actually to have looked this up.

Sputnik · 23/10/2007 10:35

Thanks for the hat MJ, I will need it for my looooong siestas . Feeling better today?

And how's youe DD LMN?

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 10:52

morning Sputnik. Not dizzy, thankfully, but sore head and throat, and tired. Have just put DD down for a nap, and hope she'll settle so i can have one as well

HellHathNoFury · 23/10/2007 11:18

Jammy sounds like you are run down and need some tlc.
Don't come to mine, I'd have to fight you for it ;-)

Thanks for the kind words ladies... my mum also called and was nice

Things are just really getting on top of me right now. I still have to sort out the wedding photos and get ready for going on holiday. Everything on its own is fine...but all of it, coupled with mizogs at work and being ill... well it just gets too much sometimes.

milkyJammy · 23/10/2007 11:43

Takw it easy Fury. When and where is the holiday?

HellHathNoFury · 23/10/2007 12:00

We are going to wisconsin in November for a couple of weeks. I am so excited but it has been a nightmare to organise!

How are you today anyway Jammy?
