hi LMN, i'm wathcing Nigella, no boring panorama here!
yes, teeth marks were visible, gone now. (my poor wee baby )

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 20:53

Hi LMN, glad it's not just me

I'm watching Nigella too (DH has gone to bed with man-flu) but it is making me hungry and I know there is ice-cream in the freezer. I am trying to be strong....

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 20:53

Ahh poor thing ...my LO just gone to sleep...I've cuddled her all day.....mattress elevated...olbass oil, snuffle babe and a steamy bathroom earlier (I run the shower whilst she was in the bath)...still sounds full of it...

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 20:54

oh a little won't hurt...I've just had a yummy choc mousse from France ....

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 20:54

is she still as chesty LMN or is it more snotty??

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 20:55

Tht sounds awful Derlor.
My DD has been ok so far, but does have her moments, eg trying to push the baby off my lap when she wants a cuddle

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 20:56

more snotty now I think...so have stayed away from doctors...they'll just hand over a prescription no questions asked IYKWIM

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 20:56

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm those pears look fanflippintastic!!

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 20:56

But it wouldn't be a little, it'd be the rest of the tub.

Sorry to hear LO is still unwell. DS seems to be developing a snuffle too. I swear by Karvol plug-ins

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 20:58

Hi Sputnik

LMN - Have you tried a little bit of medised? I find it really helps DD and DS with their breathing when they're blocked up, and it helps them sleep if they're a bit restless when they're unwell.

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 20:58

yup me too FF. my DD has had one plugged in her room for the past 3 nights - has really helped her sleep, she's on the mend now though

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 20:59

Those pears did look amazing, especially the chocolatey bit

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 21:00

oh never heard of either of those....thanks...will give them a go

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 21:02

btw, the sudafed plug-ins are just as good and 1/2 the price

Rabbitbreath · 22/10/2007 21:04

I agree with setting rules and having some sort of punishment in case these rules were broken or when children do bad things to each other like biting, but I think it is incredibly cruel sending a child to bed without supper (eating being one of a human being's basic needs) - there must be many other ways to punish children!!

''
i've had a shitey day today. DD1 bit DD2 on the foot (hard) because she "felt like it!!!!!" i couldn't believe it, she has been great with her up until now so i just don't understand it!
she got grounded, no TV, and bed straingt after tea with no story or supper!!! - i'm NOT one of those false threat moms - oh no not me!
''

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 21:04

Ohh just in time...on Tesco's now cos I have delivery tomorrow. thanks girls...off to watch Peter Jones now (cooorrrrr )...night x

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 21:05

Have you trued this

I am right-brained, apparently which is weird as having read the descriptions I'd have definitely thought I'd be left-brained

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 21:07

Rabbitbreath, i di give her a full dinner i just meant the biscuit/slice of toast she would sometimes have before bed - don't worry i didn't starve her

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 21:07

I'm sure Derlor wasn't starving her child - she did have tea

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 21:07

oops DID

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 21:09

I'm sure Derlor gave her some food before bed RB....she did say AFTER her tea....

Rabbitbreath · 22/10/2007 21:12

ok sorry - I really got a fright that some mothers might do that as punishment as that is in my eyes cruelty

and I know I am being anal now but she did say

''

and bed straingt after tea with no story or supper!!!

''

no story or supper means no story and no supper

or that is how I understood it

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 21:12

i'm right brained too FF, - can't see her spinning anticlockwise at all

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 21:15

Derlor, while you hve your HV hat on...
Can a red cheeek mean ear infeection?

upsyderlor · 22/10/2007 21:16

does supper mean evening meal to you rabbitbreath?
here, we call supper a small snack in the evening, i would NEVER starve my child and put them to bed without food. don't worry
