Have fun Tallulah

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 13:03

Have fun!

Sputnik · 22/10/2007 13:15

Have a great time Tallulah, hope you can pop in ocasionally. How long are you away for?

Re coats, I swore if I had another bby I'd get him a poncho, so much less hassle. Should get on and buy one now it's got cold here.

Baby S has something not quite right, was unhappy yesterday, just slept for 1 1/2 hours, woke, fed and is sleeping on my lap now. I m trapped and it's a pain as I need to put more wood on the fire.

Welcome back bumper, and hello again Rabbitbreath, it's nice when people put their heads round the door.

fairyfay · 22/10/2007 13:43

Just popping in as off to take DS for his third jabs.

Wow you lot got chatty again after I left last night (fairyfay checks to see if she has BO or bad breath)

Sputnik - sorry LO not so good. DS just fed and fallen asleep on me too (though tyink he's well). Love the pocho idea (will I get away with more internet shopping ?)

IwansMam · 22/10/2007 13:55

though think he's well

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:08

Someone please help me

I don't understand what I am doing

I just forked out £60 to join Slimming World (the online one anyway) and I don't understand what the feck I am doing

What am I allowed to eat? What not allowed? Why do I have to be a vegetarian sometimes?
What's all this mix and max bollocks? It makes no sense...
And most importantly... can I still go to my all you can eat curry place? And what day do I have to say it is or do I say it's all of them?

So confused. It was obviously not designed for idiots

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:08

I'm hungry

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:12

and when can I eat things like spinach and peas and brocolli? Why doesn't it mention green veg? What day can I have that?

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 14:29

TA - veg are free on any day (except peas I think)...the body optimising thing is basically about splitting carbs and proteins...so a green day is a carb day where you can eat as much pasta etc as you want and on a red day you can eat as much meat as you like.

I can go into it a bit more later if you like when I've got more time, but I'd recommend the magazine and there is also a MN thread about it here

The one good thing about SW is you should never be hungry....fruit is free...most beginners on SW stuff their faces with bananas the first couple of weeks (as they're free food)

Let us know how you get on...I'm motivating myself to do it atm

LittleMissNorty · 22/10/2007 14:31

I've just had my first ever leaky nappy.....and it was a poo leak....and it went ALL over her designer babygro ....perhaps I didn't do it up properly

milkyJammy · 22/10/2007 14:38

bad luck lmn.

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:41

I had a poo leak last night.

I had had a couple of poo leaks with disposables but never with a bumgenius. But we did have a diddy diaper poo leak.

I could go on forever about bumgenius but I am already lacking on the mates front

OH MHC you are my new best friend!

I have been trying to get Daisy on to them for a while but she keeps bleating something about 'having enough nappies'

I love them. I have about 17 of them, they are brilliant. I have a couple of other sorts simply because I can't always be arsed to stuff them when I'm in a hurry but oh what genius. Never a leak, even when my CM seems to think they are a disposable and will be fine for 4 hours. They are!

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:53

All you might-be-clothers, forget inferior brands! It's all about Bumgenius.

And yes they are expensive... but so is buying a load of inferior cloth nappies, finding they are rubbish, and selling them again. You just won't sell the bumgenius because they are perfect

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 14:56

in fact... I almost feel like I am betraying the wonder of bumgenius because I have a handful of micro diddy's, Swaddlebees and MEOs.

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 15:00

Oh MHC Stop it or I will go and buy more and I mustn't

I have 17 I don't need more
ooooooh if they did them in other funky colours oooohhhh try stopping me!!!

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 15:04

I use MEOs for night, I have 4. Nice and soft and functional and good for nights with a heavy wetter. I have 3 or 4 (I forget) OV One Size Swaddlebees which are brill actually, much like MEOS only slimmer and nicer looking and can be worn under jeans etc.
I have 2 micro diddys which are ... 'fine'. They are nice and all but I had a pooh leak. That's a big no-no.

Everything else is bumgenius.

HellHathNoFury · 22/10/2007 15:22

see. I did it again.
Not allowed to talk nappies, everyone gets bored and goes away!
