Have a nice time when you're away ria. I had a holiday of sorts today when my mum took ds for four hours so i could sleep..that combined with the ironing- i'm a new woman.

upsyderlor · 21/10/2007 21:15

hhhheeeeellllllllloooooo
i'm back (don't think you noticed i was away but i'm back anyway )
i've had a read back (didn't take too long with all the gabby ones missing!!!)
hi to rabbitbreath, welcome back and congrats on your LO
hi to Clarabumps, nice to meet you.
right sit yourself down and grab a cuppa...this could ba a long one...
i was at my sisters with the LO's in toe for a couple of days but it all went a bit wrong..... i ended up with D&V not great sharing that experience with my BIL around!! - i had to stay in bed in friday - missed out on the trip to the zoo .
My sis took my DS and DD1 along with her PFB DD and even though my 2 were VERY well behaved she has said she will difinately NEVER have 3 kids -(ROFL) it's HERS that's a bloody nightmare NOT mine!!
Anyway - i recovered enough to drive the hour home without needing to emergency stop and run into the nearest field, so we made it home on friday night and then DD2 became so upset as she has a bad cold and a temp. she has been struggling to feed and can't breathe through her nose.
so all in all it's a right old sick house here in casa derlor but we're getting there and the best news is.....i lost 4 lbs
every cloud x

riabutterflew · 21/10/2007 21:26

poor you derlor. sisters kids are seriously irritating! (actually could have happily slapped my sister today, but hey-ho). are you back to school this week?

Ironing is essential as my washing machine chews things and spits them out clean but looking worse than they did. It's done now though.

Sorry to hear about the sickness Derlor (was wondering about D&V, was thinking ? & Vodka??) worked it out eventually!

Other peoples kids, huh? Always the ones leading ours astray

Have a lovely trip Ria - congrats to you and Clarabumps on the ironing front (you know my feelings on that particular subject though!).

Hello Rabbitbreath - nice to see you again. Congrats on your lo - you sound blissed out by motherhood!

upsyderlor · 21/10/2007 21:31

hi Ria
yeah it's wierd, i honestly thought that when my sister had her baby that i would feel this real love for her as i do my own but honestly......nope, she will be 1 in a couple of weeks and is a right wee demanding moany wee PITA!!! ((((delors ducks out of the way of the oncoming bricks being thrown at her))))

justbeme · 21/10/2007 21:36

Evening!

Hope you have a nice time Ria

Sorry to hear about you not being well Derlor - I've still got "D" - since friday now (but I've been naughty and eating as per normal ie bacon sarnies and roast lamb - just have to keep running to the loo).

I doubt L will copy last nights sleep - (did I tell you it was 15 and a half hours with one feed at 8:30 am??!!! Did I??!! I say Did I??!!

HellHathNoFury · 21/10/2007 21:39

Helloooooo!!

I am knackered
I have caught up - Derlor you are sick poor you!

JBM I read that stupid cows messages. I feel like replying 'they don't arrive because you don't post them you daft bitch'.

Ahh well.

Someone broke into our garden while we were away. They used our place to break into the neighbours. I am now a bit stressed.
DH is going out to buy sensor lights, house alarms etc.

I have also ordered him to buy some razor wire. Sod the lights and loud noises, I want the fuckers to BLEED

foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:40

DS hasn't complained once (am convinced its a learnt behaviour now!). His recovery seems to be going well - we have to go back in on Wednesday to get the catheter removed. I think he enjoyed his lying on the sofa not even having to get up to pee. DP is thinking of getting one ....

Now LO is under the weather! She has a snotty nose, puffy eyes and is generally a bit miserable. She just wants to be cuddled better, so I'm not complaining!

We've had friends staying this weekend, which is why I've not been around much. Went to the pub for lunch today, the children behaved beautifully and we had a lovely time. Makes me very proud of them, and myself too if I'm honest. I'm a proud mum of four.

So much so I told DP I wanted 6.

And he said "alright then".

upsyderlor · 21/10/2007 21:42

JBM that is flippin fantastic - hope it's the first of many night's like that
Fury - PMSL at your last sentence
i like your style!!!

riabutterflew · 21/10/2007 21:42

have you ever heard the phrase "bog off" JMB? baggins sometimes sleeps for 3 hours...

my niece wastrying to pick up LO today, and shaking her hair in his face. but the really annoying thing is you only have to look at her and she cries! no bricks coming from over here!

hi foxy.

foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:42

Congratulations JBM! Do you feel like a different person for all that sleep?

Hi Fury! How was the weekend? You must be knackered, poor thing. How was the wedding? How's S?

foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:43

Hi Ria! All packed and ready to go?

upsyderlor · 21/10/2007 21:44

6 6???

HellHathNoFury · 21/10/2007 21:46

S is lovely but teething like you wouldn't believe. I am covered in drool.
He's a little star though and is growing into a smashing littl'un. Except when I am on the phone and he tries to grab it/my mouth/my nose.

Wedding was fine...although I got stuck in traffic and was 2hours late. DOH

Anyway I did my photo nazi bit. Not looked at the pics yet but given I was ill I won't be too hard on myself. The meal etc was ok, the B&G spent most of the night rowing very vocally/looking lovingly into each others eyes. I think the marriage will be somewhat volatile.

upsyderlor · 21/10/2007 21:46

where you going Ria? what did i miss?

justbeme · 21/10/2007 21:49

Foxy - 6!!!! Did I tell you I met a lady the other day and she is pregnant with her 9th!! (and she still looked glam!)
Glad DS is ok

Lol Ria!!!

riabutterflew · 21/10/2007 21:49

nope foxy. will still be bluearsed fly at luchtime I bet! now on the 6 thing, I quite fancy 4 or 5...

hi fury. how did it go? hope you're ok

OP posts:
foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:50

apparently we have to 'downgrade to a different area' but its completely do-able. Apparently.

God, I'm laughing outloud whist typing. Even I know its rediculous. Really!

justbeme · 21/10/2007 21:51

I love my bed - it appears that both my DD's have inherited that from me!!
DD1 tells me she got up at 14:00 today !

foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:52

ooh, 9, and still glam Now, if thats possible...

foxystein · 21/10/2007 21:52

Now I am of your DD and her mother JBM!!

riabutterflew · 21/10/2007 21:53

perhaps 9 is too many for me.

I'm off to the Dales with my parents who thankfully drink, but don't do overeating or snacking, or chocolate! fortunately they do love the boys...
