helloooooo, anyone around tonight? I am a rugby-widow

milkyJammy · 20/10/2007 19:19

i'm here, but probably in and out as I've got a pot of chilli cooking that needs some attention.

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 19:19

hello? ..............hello hello hello (fairyfay's voice echos around an empty room)

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 19:21

Hello Jammy - have you had a good day? I managed to escape to go shopping with DM and spent far too much money

milkyJammy · 20/10/2007 19:24

Hi Fay (be warned the f is playing up on my keyboard, so if I cut your name short, you'll know why). Shopping sounds good. I did a little shopping with DD this pm, but nothing exciting, just some milk and some biscuits from the french market in town today.

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 19:29

Isn't it strange with it being so quiet on here at the moment?

milkyJammy · 20/10/2007 19:52

Yes, very odd. I guess it is the start of half term though, so people are away, or have visitors.

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 19:52

I think I'm going to log off for tonight and get an early night. Have a good evening

milkyJammy · 20/10/2007 19:53

I think I'll be off to bed fairly early myself. Good night.

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 20:21

I'm watching the rugby, DH has given up and gone for a bath. I aren't really sure what's going on (I have a slightly better grasp of R league) and the boys want the rules explaining...

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 20:27

Hi Ria, I'm still half-heartedly lurking. No nidea about rugby I'm afraid. DH has gone out so am not having to watch it

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 20:32

the boys have stopped watching and are nicely playing lego together , so I'm on my own.

I'm thoroughly bored tonight - can't fins anything decent to watch on tv and don't have the energy to do anything constructive . I should probably go to bed but it is only 8:30 on saturday night and I really don't want to (humph!)

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 21:07

I should be doing something too. I have reached that pre-holiday moment where I've got so much to do but can't find the motivation.

fairyfay · 20/10/2007 21:15

I give in, I really am going to go to bed now. I can hear Ds thrashing around upstairs so have a feeling it won't be a full nights' sleep for me, unfortunately.

Have a great holiday ria

LittleMissNorty · 20/10/2007 21:16

Evening...is anyone left on here tonight?

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 21:19

I'm still lurking. How was your course LMN?

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 20/10/2007 21:35

Yeah went well thanks. 7 students, so quite manageable.

How are you..packed yet?

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 21:41

nope! still have stuff to wash. I just want to sleep.

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 20/10/2007 21:45

Blimey you must have lots of washing with 3 DCs...I'm beginning to do masses now just with 3 of us!

DD's runny nappies have started due to her ABs...I have changed 4 dirty nappies today and had to leave IKEA cos I'd only got one nappy left!

riabutterflew · 20/10/2007 21:59

loads and loads and loads.

poor DD, hope she's soon better.

I'm off to be unneccesarily miserable about the rugby.

I should be too busy to be here tomorrow, but we'll see

night. Rx

Night Ria x Hope you get a restful night

Rabbitbreath · 21/10/2007 00:58

hi Everyone - too tired now to read the whole thread - oh my word I only looked at the clock now - almost 1am - dh playing his X-Box game so I have been reading stuff on Mumsnet.

Hope you and your little ones are doing well!

I haven't been on MN for ages (definitely not addicted!!) - not since Katherine was born on 2nd June - she is such a lovely baby - sleeps a lot, cries very little and gives us tons of pleasure!!

She attends swimming and singing and signing classes, and we do Pushy Mums (walking with prams in the Highgate woods) and our antenatal group still meets weekly for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

So, as you can see we are doing very well and I hope so is everyone else.

Terrible thought to go back to work, but at least I have another 7 months at home with my Princess!

lots of hugs to you all!!!
