Never thought of that JBM...but I have to say he doesn't sit up on show to everyone...he's usually flaked out

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 20:58

Jammy - sounds adorable!

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:01

Oh just got 34...that's better

Right off to do some work....start tutoring a university short course tomorrow and can't remember anything

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 21:02

HELP DD is stuck inhere dress and won't come out!

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:04

How is she stuck Sputnik?

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:05

what happened?

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:06

LMN - what's the course?

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:06

Is it going to have to be cut off?

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:06

Diagnosis of Breast Cancer....exciting huh?

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:08

TBH it doesn't exactly sound a thrill a minute

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:10

well I find it interesting - it is my job after all - and all the students will for a while, but after 12 weeks of it, they'll be sick of it ...it's good fun...very intensive learning for them....much better being a tutor than a student...its all on-line except a workshop tomorrow...so I've got to spend some time doing that and NOT MNing all the time

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:18

but then i don't suppose many people would find my job (or should that be ex-job) very exciting either!

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:19

blardy comp keeps crashing tonight

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:20

will anyone else be relieved when the rugby finishes tomorrow?

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 21:20

Phew, DD rescued. She'd managed to put her arm through the neck hole and got stuck. Cut the arm bit in the end, hopefully i can fix it.

You were all on tenterhooks there weren't you

LMN, didn't realise you'd been to Aberystwyth, I was born there! If you think you have problems spelling it you should see/hear what the Italians make of it. When I was in labour with DD the gynae was betting the midwife 100 euros she couldn't pronounce it!

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 21:21

What rugby? sport free house here

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:23

Good work sputnik!

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:25

We're watching France v Argentina - to see who gets 3rd and 4th - FFS what is the point of that?! I think even DH is a bit bored by it as he keeps changing channels - we were even listening to welsh commentary for a while, and no he doesn't speak welsh!

justbeme · 19/10/2007 21:27

I like it when theres sport on - 'cos I can MN!! any excuse!

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 21:28

On selecting a sport-free DH or the dress rescue?
It was rather fetching psychadelic pinafore number from Zara, hope it can be salvaged.

justbeme · 19/10/2007 21:30

I keep hearing about "Zara" where do you buy their stuff from?

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:30

sputnik - well done on both! Hope it can be saved (the dress )

fairyfay · 19/10/2007 21:31

There's a Zara in Kingston - I think it's Spanish?

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 21:33

Sputnik....I can say it...unlike most places I visited....but can't spell it! Didn't realise you were Welsh! How did you end up in Italy? Did you marry an Italian? We were about an hours drive away...but what a drive...it was great...and some great beaches on the way...

Glad DD is ok...can you sew?

Rugby/sport is always on in this house!

Faylisa...are you a SAHM now or on mat leave?

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 21:35

It's just a high street shop called Zara, think they re spanish but seem to be spreading all over europe. have adults and kids stuff, reasonble prices. Think theree's quite few in UK, def one in Cardiff.
