Hi holly

Can't wait for my Minki yo-yos to arrive so I don't have to use blardy pyjama pants ever again.

DS is quite excited about having "real" pj pants

Actually I wonder if it's bad that I have only had Matilda weighed 2 or 3 times - and she's nearly 4 months old. But she seems happy and alert, and is growing like a weed - so I think she must be ok. Anyway she has some shots on thursday, so will find out what she weighs then.

Foxy - sorry to hear you've been so stressed out. Remember next time I am close by and happy to come and help entertain the brood if you need it!

CunningPlanFormulator · 09/10/2007 22:49

Woah daisy, what happened there?!

I'm never buying Huggies again! I still use despicables for dd, but I think I may start fluffing her (that's if she'll let me)!

Daisy if you still want a knitting machine there are some on here. I'd love to get one, but I think dp would actually kill me!

BZ I've only had ds weighed about 4-5 times. I don't think there's any need unless you're concerned.

Right, really must go and catch up, I haven't read through today's posts yet!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 22:52

oops

I have no bloody idea what happened there.....my computer locked up, next thing I know I've filled the thread and need to get my thinking cap on for the next thread title

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 23:01

hello and goodnight from me. sorry so many seemed to have a hard time today, hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow...

looks like someone's very excited about some minki yo-yos - what might they be then? i'm not up on the lingo i'm afraid, new nappies perhaps?

missed the c4 programme tonight, sounds like more of the same though....

i've been very bad on the weighing front. dd's only small but she's definitely been growing and getting longer and seems all round happy generally. she's only been weighed twice and she's off the bottom of the scale but noone has suggested anything's wrong. will weigh again on friday i guess.

hope everyone gets a good nights sleep...

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 23:05

for anyone that missed it...I can't wait for my Minki Yo Yos to arrive

G'night peeps....

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 09/10/2007 23:09

Holly - yes - lets find out where CV lives so you can do all that you said below while I give that arse like face of hers a good slapping!

Do you think that she is jealous of new mums because she hasn't had a baby - and she can't stand seeing mummys and babies being happy?

bumperlicious · 10/10/2007 08:34

oh I've missed you guys! can't stop long, LO has jabs and dr's appointment which means spending all morning in the waiting room.

can someone give me a round up?

HellHathNoFury · 10/10/2007 08:36

we have all changed our names - I am (or was TA)
I have been evil and played a trick on a dodgy nasty person who owes me £100
lots of people are having a shite time

We have a couple of newbies!! That have stayed!

How was your move?

bumperlicious · 10/10/2007 08:46

Do divulge (if you can...)! Move went ok. The 2 days we were moving/cleaning DD decided she didn't want to be put down and wanted to be fed every hour! New flat is lovely, but miss our old place, and can't find anything! We are doing ok though.

How's work? How is DS getting on at CM's?

bumperlicious · 10/10/2007 08:53

Right, gotta go but will be back later!

HellHathNoFury · 10/10/2007 08:59

DS is going very well! He tried baby rice last night. Just for something to do really, he was screaming and needed a distraction. It worked! But not ready for weaning yet! He just liked playing with it.

A woman sold me some nappies and they never arrived. I put in a claim through paypal but it's taken over a month so far, and I wanted some 'security'. So I created a fake name and fake email and offered to buy more stuff but I needed her address so I could send a cheque. Now I have her address, if Paypal falls through I can send her a summons instead of a cheque

I am pure evil, I know it. But it was £100!

What's the new place like?

riabutterflew · 10/10/2007 09:00

are you still excited daisy?

how's DS today? poor lamb

Morning. Hi Bumper, glad move went well, good to see you back online.

Watching last night's Stephen Fry program about HIV, tears running down my cheeks. I'm such a soppy mare these days. But the bit about the HIV woman being forced to go back to Uganda, and fearing she won't be able to get treatment there so deciding to leave her 7y son with UK foster parents rather than taking him with her and risking her dying on him really got to me.

Charlie999 · 10/10/2007 09:04

Morning ladies...blimey Daisy....laptop went a bit mad then last night

Hi Bumper - glad move went well

DD screamed after her 8oz bottle this morning and then took another 4oz

DH got the strops big time with me and I don't know why

Loads to do today and lunch with 2 friends and their new babies.....aaahhhh (perhaps thats some of the reason...

BadZelda · 10/10/2007 09:37

Morning all! Have a giggle here. Hope you all had good nights? Was unusually woken at 3 because dd2 had gone to sleep early, and couldn't go back to sleep - but i'm not complaining, honest, because that's the first time she's woken at night for a while.

Ria - glad to hear work went ok, if a bit hectic. Must be something in the air, as one of my clients mailed me yesterday to know could I make a meeting soon. Have today off from DD1 to write, so better get moving before I have to get back to the pixelface.

Bumper - glad your move went well - and that you're back online so soon, zx

riabutterflew · 10/10/2007 09:48

hi bumper, glad you are ok.

I didn't watch the HIV thing MJ, had a feeling it would have that effect. His programme about manic depression was enough for me.

I think the new thread title should be -

"Daisy got so excited about her minky yo-yos that she filled up the whole of our last thread telling us about it"
