daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 13:16

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 13:17

I got my BFP exactly a year ago today!!!

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:17

We are on holiday next week

Going here

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:18

A year ago today I was in a bar in Hiroshima

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 13:20

ooooh, looks lovely jammy. Are you going to meet up with bumper? she is in that neck of the woods somewhere I think

possetwiper · 09/10/2007 13:23

that looks nice jammy we are going to portugal for half term so should be good

I had a very funny experience with my bfp cos it was ivf you have to do the test on a certain day and it was a blood test. I had done pee stick couple of days earlier and got a neg so was convinced it hadn't worked. Anyway told everyone it hadn't worked and then had blood test and was positive was a bit when had to tell everyone was pregnant also did 3 pee sticks on day I got blood results to check

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:25

No plans to meet with anyone. A quiet week for me & DH & LO to chill together.

BadZelda · 09/10/2007 13:33

I got mine in September - both times though I knew pretty much instantly - the test was just incontrovertible evidence. Felt different and my pee smelt funny!

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:33

a year ago today I was doing the same thing...in the same office..in fact I have only moved 2 desks down.

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 13:35

looks like a lovely place to escape to MJ

a year ago, seems such a long time now - when there was no inkling of what was to appear on the horizon.....how life changes!

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:37

I didn't get my BFP until Nov 9th. Oct 9th was just agreeing not to use contraception any more.

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:38

funny isn't it
a year and 3 weeks ago I was getting smashed in a vodka bar after 16 shots then woke up being force fed stale baguettes by dh
a year and 2.5 weeks ago I conceived
a year and 2 weeks ago I was in Wisconsin taking pics at my sisters wedding

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:39

In fact this time last year I was having my last period!

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:40

Teabag's right, it seems so long ago, and my how life HAS changed

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:40

51 weeks ago I got the 2 lines, shat a brick, and bought 7 more 'to check'

esp when you think I only did the test for shits and giggles in the first place, I didn't even think I was pregnant, I just had an out of date test in the cupboard that I brought from Zimbabwe ... and I was bored, dh was out down the pub

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 13:41

OMG Fury!

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:44

ahhh those were the days

I was convinced because the test was out of date it must have been wrong. So I bought more and did it on the train to work. Then more at the tescos next to work, and did them at work. After 8 positives I told my gay mate who said 'ugh' lol

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 13:44

i didn't realise you are at work now fury - and managing to mn whilst doing it!
same for me mj and wasn't til early november i knew i was up the spout. 7 tests?!!!! i was convinced by 3...

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:45

I think work is a 'place' rather than an adjective

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 13:50

i wasn't very good at counting and it was only when at manchester airport, coming back from conference, feeling queasy after a cup of tea and thinking i hadn't drunk quite enough the night before to warrant hangover, that i began to suspect....tested that evening...

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:50

So Teabag where in the world are you?

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:50

lol @ 'I wasn't very good at counting'

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 13:51

sounds like you're onto a good one there fury

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:52
