milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 12:11

LOL

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:12

thanks for the offer Charlie......but I wouldn't know what to e-mail

the main problem is the wireless usb has given up the ghost, and if I try to reinstall it, it tells me it has uninstalled the original software, but when I run the set up again, it goes through the whole uninstall thing again, round and round in a big loop

I'll try the mfr website, but my next problem is that I can't connect to t'internet on my laptop at all at the moment, not even if I unplug the sireless hub thingie and plug straight in

Is that you holly, hunnihunnihunhun

HunnyHunnyHunHun · 09/10/2007 12:13

ooo is olly?

BadZelda · 09/10/2007 12:14

don't feel bad milkyjammy - my 1000+ books are in alphabetical order!

daisy....what's the flylady mission for today?

CunningPlanFormulator · 09/10/2007 12:17

Chicks, register here to become a product tester. I registered the other day and just had lovely chat with sharon, the founder of the website. She phoned me up to check a few things. She has just sent me an email offering a nursing bra to test which I get to keep and next month they are testing cloth nappies and baby slings!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:19

I wonder if you can get burberry patterned pushchairs?

I saw some burberry type check nappy covers....scroll down to the bottom

chavtastic!!

CunningPlanFormulator · 09/10/2007 12:20

Oooo, how lovely daisy , but I don't think chavs use fluff!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:23

cheers holly, have registered.

I've got her book with the ducks on....it's very good.

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:24

BZ....I've not checked.

but I have made chicken soup!

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 12:27

May follow that up, thanks Holly

BZ, I thought doing about that with our fiction, but decided in the end I prefer a little rummage as you then end up seeing things you'd forgotten you had, which is always nice (though will keep "sets" ie Harry Potter or Narnia together). But am pleased to have got some control over the non-fiction.

Am on a roll, have just got £68 refund from Debenhams for some duvets that they can't deliver, and £44.50 for a travel insurance policy that I cancelled but got charged for anyway. Shouldn't have had to make the phone calls to chase them up, but feels good to have got it sorted with two quick calls AND to have had proper apologies from the companies concerned

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:39

thanks for that reminder on travel insurance jammy! Need to get that done before our hols.

do you need a form E111 these days for europe?

BadZelda · 09/10/2007 12:40

ah - it's clean the kitchen worktops. Think I can manage that - then I won't feel guilty about not doing any other housework (it's probably not supposed to work like that is it? )

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 12:44

you haven't scared me away yet and thanks dkma for alerting me to possible reactions to my name! top of the afternoon to you all, hope everyone is well today and that those who've been feeling rotten are feeling better.

You've lost me already, can't keep up with all the talk and all the changing identities.....my brain and memory disappeared several months ago and are yet to return....

on driving - good luck to all those learners. I passed my test 15 years ago but have driven so little it scares me, particularly in london, so i avoid it like the plague....

How some of you manage with more than one little one I don't know and you have my complete admiration. I also admire those who are working....if there are any prizes going for "lazy", I'm the winner!

On computers, sorry I have no idea, I just press the buttons and if it doesn't work i know i need help...

Daisy - sorry to hear about swimming incident, poor DS, hope he takes to it again soon. Also, must be gasman activity day today as we've had them digging up the front garden to put new pipes in....all now sorted though and gas back on, hooray.

do babies dream? mine just woke up squealing...

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 12:44

e111 doesn't exist - you need a health insurance card thing, sorry am feeding so can't go get it to see exact name. Can apply online, but not sure how long it takes to come through

milkyJammy · 09/10/2007 12:47

Hi teabag, I'm sure they do dream. At just a few days old the nurses agreed you could see emotions in her face while asleep. wTF she was dreaming of we couldn't say though.

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 12:50

hi teabag....

babyboo definately dreams. she chunters away and giggles to herself quite often in her sleep, and yesterday she gave a huge shout.

I'm feeling less sick now. don't know what's up, I've been like this on and off for about a week now.

possetwiper · 09/10/2007 12:52

hi ladees back after a lie down and lunch so feeling much bettr
Daisy there isn't an E111 anymore you get a plastic card called a european health care info here

teabag007 · 09/10/2007 12:53

i could do with one of you organising/sorting types to have a go in this flat......nothing in any order here....

i'd guess dreaming about milk, or lack of, as that's pretty much what's on her mind most of the time...

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/10/2007 13:02

cheers jammy....it should be with me within seven working days...postal strike allowing

which is good as we are going in exactly seven working days.

HellHathNoFury · 09/10/2007 13:08

I'm bored
